The main subjects of the exam. How many additional subjects can I take on the exam

The topic of the exam is of concern not only to graduates, but also to their parents and teachers. Work is constantly being done on this system for testing the knowledge of graduates, innovations in the USE do not stop and many adjustments are made. And, of course, you need to study the latest USE 2018 news in advance in order to know what to prepare for and not worry.

There were a lot of rumors about the USE in 2018 a couple of years ago: some wanted to cancel, others wanted to bring the number of compulsory subjects to six. Schoolchildren complain about the stamping of assignments, the lack of the opportunity to show their the best sides. Universities are facing the problem of silent students because students have been taught to memorize material and note correct option. Therefore, the already famous phrase “forget everything you were taught in school” has a place in universities. How the One will change its appearance State exam in the coming years is still unknown.

news from 16.03.2018 . The deputies of the State Duma will submit for consideration a bill on the abolition of the exam. This information was received from Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, co-author of the bill.

But everyone who hoped for the abolition of the exam in 2018 will not be able to please. The Ministry of Education and Science does not support such an initiative and states that it is still premature to talk about the abolition of the USE.

USE News 2018

In power new minister education, not Dmitry Litvinov, who planned to increase the number of subjects to six by 2018. Vasilyeva, who is a minister and a supporter of gradual changes, said that the project to reform the USE will continue, but global changes should not be feared.

So what changes will be in the USE 2018?

  • The number of compulsory disciplines may change.
  • One more item will be added to the already existing twelve - Chinese.
  • Grade for the final essay.
  • Changes in the structure of CMM options.
  • Tightening measures for the examination.
  • The influence of the result of the exam on the score in the certificate.

Let's take a closer look at these new provisions.

What are the compulsory subjects included in the USE 2018?

Quantity compulsory exams for grade 11 is constantly changing. Previously, the question “how many subjects to take” did not arise among eleventh-graders. Necessary were and are:

  1. Russian language, consisting of two parts;
  2. mathematics (since 2015 it has been divided: profile - for applicants to technical specialties; basic - for applicants to humanitarian specialties).

To get a more necessary certificate than a certificate, these two exams must be passed with a positive mark.

The issue of a third compulsory subject has been considered for a long time, it is possible that at the end of this academic year the children will need to take three compulsory disciplines.

Candidates for the 2018 required exams vary, but the leaders are as follows:

  • History - even V.V. Putin spoke out in defense of this subject;
  • Social science is the most popular discipline;
  • A foreign language in the age of globalization is gaining many supporters;
  • For the same reason, geography is included here.

Disputes are underway, and exact information will be given only at the beginning of the school year.

Choose and sell!

Elective subjects are called so because graduates choose them themselves, based on what subjects are required for admission to the desired university. The number of additional disciplines for delivery is not limited. Therefore, what to take for the exam and how many subjects to take is up to you to choose. There are 12 elective disciplines:

  • Humanities: history, social studies, literature

Languages: English, German, French, Spanish.

  • Engineering sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, informatics and ICT.

In 2018, Chinese was added to the list of elective disciplines.

What innovations will affect the final essay?

The fact that marks will now be given for the final essay is reported latest news. If earlier there was only a pass / fail, now a five-point scale is applied to the assessment of the essay. Evaluation criteria can be viewed on the FIPI website. Do you remember that when you enter an essay, points are added? It is it that can become your pass to the coveted place at the institute.

Another news: instead of three essay topics, five will now be offered. There is a chance to choose for yourself a more interesting or simple one. But with an increase in the number of topics, the required volume also increases - 250 words instead of 200. In this way, the reformers are trying to achieve literate writing. The hope that schoolchildren will at least read a few books for the exam does not die.

Tests are removed, creativity is added

Yes - yes, this is what the experts were guided by when creating new KIMs of the Unified State Examination in literature. Tasks with short answers are excluded, the volume of the essay is increased. This discipline causes a lot of controversy and is most often reformed.

Changes in the USE in 2018 are relevant to other disciplines. Gradually removed test tasks, suggesting a simple choice among the given options. Leave tasks of medium and high complexity. Examinations in biology and social science were left without a test part, the examinee must himself give a short answer to the question posed. Thus, it is planned to improve the quality of education in the disciplines.

There will be an oral part in the "great and mighty" exam soon, but don't worry, that's not it. academic year. But the bottom line is that the association of the USE with the test, where you can randomly tick boxes, is being actively removed.

For those who pass computer science, there is also news: passing the exam will be held on computers.

Metal detectors did not help, you have to put "jammers"

According to numerous surveys and studies, many schoolchildren manage to write off exams in the classroom. Cameras, metal detectors, threats, orders from teachers - none of the above stops students. You still manage to get through with the phone and even use it. Therefore, from 2018 it is planned to place "jammers" mobile communications. Rosobrnadzor is determined to tighten measures in the preparation of options, their delivery; take observers and teachers even more seriously to avoid the possibility of cheating.

USE and certificate

Changes in the Unified State Examination also affected the placement of a score in the certificate. The mark can be both improved and spoiled. But there is an advantage to this. For example, you have been studying Russian all your life with a solid “4”, and suddenly write an exam with “excellent”. Most likely, the teacher will meet you halfway and give you a five in your certificate. But we all understand that, in the end, only the teacher decides what mark to give you in the certificate.

Now you know what changes will be in the USE 2018 and you can try to use them to your advantage. More detailed information about what the USE will look like in 2018 and about innovations in the USE will appear in the fall.

When is the exam in 2018?

How many points in 2018 to score to enter?

To get a certificate, and not a certificate, you will need one number of points, and another to enter a university. These two concepts should be separated, as the numbers may differ. Every year, the “minimum scores” change, it depends on how well people pass the test in the country. Therefore, today we can only give approximate USE scores:

  • mathematics - 27;
  • Russian language - 36;
  • physics, chemistry, biology - 36;
  • history, literature - 32;
  • geography - 37;
  • informatics and ICT - 40;
  • social science - 42;
  • foreign languages - 22.

To obtain a certificate, you must have the following number of points:

  • Russian language - 24;
  • mathematics - 27, or a basic level of 3.

But, if we compare these figures, it becomes obvious that the doors to universities are closed for those who just wanted to somehow get a certificate.

All students who have passed to the 11th grade, it remains to be advised: do not hope that the USE will be suddenly canceled in 2018, but take into account the changes in the USE in 2018 and tune in to pass. Many leading figures believe that it is this exam that helps young people from the outback to make their way to the country's leading universities. If so, then the exam is live!

The FIPI website already has options for all disciplines. If you are ready, then no changes will affect your result! Good luck!

Final exams are stressful for both students and their parents. This is a kind of milestone, overcoming which, the child becomes finally an adult and chooses a further path and profession that he wants to acquire. Often, the future of a person depends on the results of the exam. Will he be able to enter the desired university or will he have to adjust his plans in urgently. The results of the USE show how much the school curriculum has been mastered by a person and at what level his basic knowledge is.

The USE is a new system for assessing the knowledge of schoolchildren. It was first tested at the beginning of the new millennium. Finally, the new knowledge assessment system was approved in the already distant 2009. AT next year It will already be 10 years from the moment when the usual entrance exams were replaced by a test.

Every year, education reforms are carried out and the procedure for the exam is adjusted. This causes a lot of trouble for the families of schoolchildren and the children themselves being examined.

The former head of the Ministry of Education, Dmitry Livanov, has previously stated that serious reforms are coming to the USE system.

Do not avoid innovations and graduates of 2018. Olga Vasilyeva, who is the head of the Ministry of Education, confirmed information about upcoming changes in the system this year.

reforms

A lot of talk boils down to the fact that the Unified State Examination is allegedly planned to be abolished. In fact, this is not true. It is already the ninth year that the Unified State Examination determines the level of knowledge of graduates. To date, a lot of effort has been expended and a sufficient number of reforms have been made. Abolishing the Unified State Examination after all the resources and efforts expended is inappropriate.

There is no unequivocal opinion on reforms. But, despite the controversial nature of the ongoing reforms, this is not a reason to cancel the exam as such.

Compulsory subjects for the USE 2018

So, let's look at how things will be with the very order of the exam, and what will be planned as compulsory subjects this year.

Schoolchildren and their parents are interested in the question of how many subjects the exam will include.

Where did the grounds for concern come from? The fact is that the previous head of the Ministry of Education mentioned in an interview that in 2018 it is planned to increase the number of subjects to be handed over to six.

It was assumed that in 2017 one subject will be added, and in 2018 a fourth and two more optional subjects will be added to the three. There are six compulsory subjects in total.

With the change in leadership, there has been a change in the core strategy.

An increase in the number of items has been rumored since 2014. But until today there has been no change. The assumption that one more would be added to the two compulsory subjects did not materialize. In the last academic year, the system remained the same. Two compulsory and the third subject at the discretion of the examinee.

The Ministry of Education and Science announced that changes will still occur in 2018. Graduates of 2018 will be required to take three exams instead of last year's two.

It is not yet clear exactly what subject in question. And what discipline will surrender without fail.

After analyzing the state of education today, we can make an assumption that this subject will become story. Why history? The fact is that knowledge in this area among modern children is at an insufficient level. And if history gets into the top three compulsory subjects of the Unified State Examination, more time will be allocated to this discipline and the approach to teaching will change. It is necessary to develop students' interest in studying the roots and history of the country in which they were born, grew up and receive education.

The next subject that may be on the must-have list is social science. Why is it likely that social science will fall into mandatory list? One-third of schoolchildren have given preference to this subject of choice for several years in a row. Do not expect that it will be as easy to pass as it seems to the student. The fact is that the degree of difficulty of the exam will be increased.

Physics- the third subject, which is spoken about as a potential mandatory subject of the USE. In the direction of physics, as the main discipline, teachers of a real profile are inclined. But in reality, physics has little chance. Not every student is easily given the exact sciences. This means that it is impossible to consider physics as a mandatory subject for all graduates to pass.

So far, we can only state with accuracy that the Russian language and mathematics remain in their positions.

USE 2018 - news

Olga Vasilyeva is not an adherent of drastic and dramatic changes, unlike her predecessor. Certainly reforms will follow. But, it is planned to introduce them gradually so that they do not serve as unnecessary stress for students.

From some interviews with the new leader, it becomes clear that there will be reforms. In turn, Olga Vasilyeva said that all significant changes would be known in advance.

FIPI announced that the reforms will primarily affect the literature exam.

On the FIPI website you can already find new model examination test. It is for this type that the final exam will be built.

  • What changes does the updated exam include?
  • Will the practice of writing essays continue?
  • What will be the difficulty level of the exam?

We will try to answer these and other questions in more detail.

The Literature exam was already subject to reform earlier. There was a practice of answering in the form of a test, where students were given the opportunity to answer a question by choosing the correct one from several answers. After the reform, such a test system was replaced by a short answer. Based on the short answer, it was possible to draw a conclusion about whether the student knows how to correctly use the terminology, how well he learned it.

What can we expect in 2018?

Short answers will be cancelled. There will be space for creativity. Unlike the exact sciences, literature requires a creative approach and develops students' ability to think outside the box. It is supposed to get rid of technical answers in favor of deeper and more detailed ones.

Simplify the second part of the test. Until now, the practice was based on the fact that the student needed to analyze the proposed text and find a comparison of the main text with two that had to be cited as an example independently from the material covered.

The model of the new test involves analytical work on only one text.

News related to the composition. Until now, there were only three themes to choose from. In 2018, graduates will have the opportunity to choose one of five essay topics. This will significantly expand the possibilities of choice and allow each student to cope with the task.

AT this year not only the number of topics will increase, but also the volume of the essay. If today it is 200 words, now the optimal volume of 250 words has been approved.

Another reform that affected essays was the introduction of marks on a five-point system. That is, graduates will receive a separate mark for the text, and not just a “passed” or “not passed” resolution, as has been practiced so far.

After the new assessment system was tested in 44 regions of our country, it was decided that in 2018, all students will pass a new test for the exam.

Foreign languages at the Unified State Examination 2018

Let's touch on a topic that worries many - foreign languages in a single state language. exam.

It is impossible not to recognize the fact that the knowledge of one or more foreign languages makes it much easier for a person not only to enter a university, but also to find a job, as well as building a career. Therefore, for several years in a row there have been heated debates about the need to transfer foreign languages from selective to compulsory subjects in the Unified State Examination.

To date, a foreign language will still remain on the list of "optional". But graduates of 2020, most likely, will indeed take it as a mandatory one.

So, let's consider what foreign languages you can choose for the exam in 2018:

  1. English language
  2. French
  3. Deutsch
  4. Chinese
  5. Spanish

A few words about the appearance of the Chinese language in the exam list. In 2016, an experiment on passing Chinese took place in schools on the banks of the Amur. Since the experiment ended in success, the Chinese language added to the above list.

The system for passing the exam 2018 in the Crimea and Sevastopol

The system of choice for graduates of the Crimea and Sevastopol has been operating for the last year. Graduates have the opportunity to choose between the usual for the region entrance exams to universities and the Unified State Examination.

Last year, Sevastopol and Crimea diverged significantly in terms of indicators. On the territory of Crimea, the Unified State Examination was chosen by thirty-four percent. But the Sevastopol students, for the most part, opted for a new exam system for them. About eighty-four percent gave preference in favor of the Unified State Examination.

USE in Russian

At one time, even Kuprin expressed the idea that the Russian language is not an idle matter, but the history of the people, which requires careful attitude and deep learning.

The importance of the Russian language and the quality of its teaching in the school curriculum are discussed at all levels, both by teachers in schools and by the president of the country. The Russian language is the consciousness of the people, it is the language that unites people together and plays one of the main roles in the issue of human self-identification. You can not casually or formally approach the issue. Literacy and culture of speech - that's what you need to focus on in order to consider yourself an educated person.

In 2018, the Russian language exam reforms will include the addition of an oral part of the exam.

The Society of Russian Literature supports the reforms that are being carried out to improve the quality of knowledge of young people. The Russian language is included in the compulsory part of the exam. Without passing the Russian language, it is impossible to become the owner of a certificate of secondary education.

The oral part of the exam will be called "Speaking".

What prompted this kind of innovation? The fact is that the modern realities of life are as follows: most schoolchildren spend a significant part of their time in social networks and other internet portals. The speech used on the web is quite poor and is a mixture of slang, abbreviations and foreign words. There is no need to talk about pure and competent Russian. Moreover, such a way of life of schoolchildren significantly influenced oral speech. Vocabulary, unfortunately, can not be called rich. In order to, if not change, then at least influence the situation, it was decided to introduce an additional oral block.

The goal pursued by the proponents of innovation is clear. In the future, at the end of school, a person will need not only the ability to comment on posts on social networks, but also the opportunity to present themselves at different levels.

To make a presentation in front of large quantity people, to be able to competently convey a thought, to learn how to give arguments and participate in disputes, defending their position, as well as to be able to resist the opinions of others, it is necessary to learn how to correctly express their thoughts.

What will happen to a person if he cannot convey the idea to the interlocutor? AT young age, many do not think that the time will come when those subjects that many do not like so much at school will come in handy. No one is interested in cramming the rules, but they help to gain knowledge in a particular area. Long essays on topics offered by literature teachers seem boring, but this is how a person learns not only to think well, but also to have a creative approach.

If we talk about creative thinking, then this in no way means that the person who possesses it should choose creative profession. On the contrary, if a person makes progress in a real profile, and is able to competently and literaryly express his thoughts, showing the originality of the mind, this is a big trump card in his piggy bank.

AT modern world it is impossible to do without the skill of self-presentation. In order to receive good position you have to be communicative. Often on duty, a person will have to spend a lot of time communicating with other people for different purposes. A doctor needs to talk with a patient, a lawyer needs to represent the interests of a company or a client, even a salesperson needs to have a competent speech so that a potential client has confidence and a desire to purchase a product.

Family and school - this is where love and craving for knowledge are laid. It is there that the child receives the necessary skills in communication among society.

Graduates of the ninth grade could already feel the full extent of what constitutes an innovation.

The ninth graders completed the following tasks:

The exam was attended by experts who could give an objective assessment from the outside at what level of oral speech.

Read more about what will be included in the "Speaking" block at the USE 2018.

Let's discuss in more detail what this innovation represents for graduates of the ninth and eleventh grade of Russian schools, as well as what goals this reform sets for schoolchildren.

The main objective of the reform is to help graduates develop the following qualities:

  • Expressive reading. The level of reading of the text that will be offered in the test will be assessed.
  • Analytical thinking. The degree of understanding of the text by the student and the ability to analyze the material read are assessed.
  • The ability to correctly express your thoughts. Short one-word answers are not allowed. The graduate should be able to construct sentences and bring his thoughts to the interlocutor, who in our case is a member of the examination committee.
  • Grammatically correct speech. The extent to which the graduate has an idea of the norms of the Russian language is assessed.
  • Competent construction of monologue and dialogue.

What items will remain the same in the USE 2018?

Now a few words about which parts of the exam will remain unchanged.

The Russian language will not undergo any special changes, except for the addition of an oral block. The rest is fixed in the usual form.

The test contains two blocks. Let's take a closer look at what each of them is.

The first block of the test for the exam 2018.

The first block contains twenty-four points, which are aimed at giving an objective assessment of the following parameters:

  1. Extraction of the main idea of the text;
  2. Orthoepy;
  3. Grammar, the ability to find an error and classify it;
  4. Spelling;
  5. Punctuation. The ability of the student to correctly punctuate;
  6. Vocabulary. The use of words;
  7. Types of speech;
  8. The ability to distinguish means of expression in a piece of text.

The second block of the test for the exam 2018.

In the second block of the test, there is an assessment of a creative approach to the subject and the ability to think.

The essay includes many aspects of verification. It demonstrates in practice how a person learned school material. Everything is evaluated here - from grammar, to the ability to express one's thoughts, to substantiate one's opinion. It is the essay that gives a complete picture of the level of knowledge of the student and the ability to put this knowledge into practice.

This table shows the minimum scores below which the exam is considered a failure.

In order to successfully pass the exam, you need to prepare for it ahead of time. On the last night before the exam, it is hardly possible to learn all the rules in 11 years.

In order to get acquainted with the test examples, you can go to the FIPI website. It is on the website of the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements that you will find useful information in preparation for the exam. The site has a huge number of tests and tasks in the public domain for all school topics and subjects.

You can test your knowledge by testing it with last year's USE options. If you start preparing in advance, then at the exam itself you will feel confident in your abilities and will be able to get a certificate without unnecessary stress.

At the beginning of 2018, it will become known for certain what dates the exams will be taken.

We, in turn, wish the graduates good luck and successful delivery GCSE 2018!

“The Unified State Examination is a testing of knowledge, which is simultaneously recognized as graduation school and entrance for universities” - a commentary by a specialist from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation from 2008. Proposed in 2008, a new system for testing the knowledge of students who have completed incomplete secondary or secondary educational program, plunged many into shock - both students and teachers.

Innovations were so cardinal that most believed that they could not be mastered even by excellent students. The USE 2018 will change again, but it is not yet clear whether the innovations will make it easier to pass the exam or complicate it.

What is the USE

First USE were carried out only in a few regions of our country. Uniform test tasks were compiled for students from all over the country in several school disciplines (subjects) that they had to pass. Gradually, the list of areas participating in the new examination system grew:

year 2001 5 regions
2002 16 regions
2006 79 regions
2008 All regions of the Russian Federation

In 2002, a special state agency was created, whose task was to create, test control and information materials for the All-Russian exam and monitor its legality. The structure was named FIPI. It is this department that creates the famous sheets with tasks that graduates receive. In addition, the specialists of the institute select the evaluation criteria, determine the maximum and minimum allowable number of points (grades).

What awaits the exam in 2018

Since the introduction of the Unified State Examination, several heads of the ministry have changed, test sheets in all sciences have undergone multiple transformations and changes, and the process of passing has become much stricter. Both parents and teachers have repeatedly pointed out the inadmissibility of requirements and the absurdity of tasks, which led to the fact that FIPI finalized the system. However, the abolition of the USE was not approved, and this type of exam continues to be practiced.

Dmitry Livanov (Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation) at each meeting with teachers hears questions about the proposed and desired changes in the examination system. According to Livanov and the official website of the FIPI, there are no plans to introduce fundamental changes. The curators and creators of the controversial system claim that there are no pronounced problems and difficulties. Child psychologists agree with them, despite the practice, which indicates a high emotional stress students.

The plans of FIPI and the Ministry of Education and Science include only the correction of the list of compulsory disciplines and subjects that will be tested. Except mother tongue and sciences included in the concept of mathematics, the list may include:

  • chemistry or physics,
  • geography,
  • social science,
  • story.

Many masters of pedagogy insist that one of the areas of foreign languages be added to the compulsory subjects, but practicing teachers consider this unnecessary. In addition, there are disputes around the proposal to introduce a single test, which will include questions on all sciences at the same time - both the Russian language and geometry-algebra, physics, literature, etc. Lebanon believes that the integrated exam should be discussed with practitioners pedagogy and education, and in its approval, if this happens, psychologists will definitely participate.

Another hot topic in disputes is how many subjects to take students in the 9th grade. The essence of the controversy lies in the fact that after the completion of an incomplete secondary course, there is no admission to a university, but only to a college of specialized education.

How to prepare for the exam 2018

The Ministry of Education and Science and FIPI have developed a whole system of advice-guides on how to properly prepare for the All-Russian knowledge testing. You can get acquainted with them on the portal of the institute-developer of the system. And if 9th graders, according to pundits, have no particular reason to worry, then graduates high school serious preparation is required.

First of all, you need to know exactly how many subjects to take in grade 11, because graduates have the right to choose optional disciplines. This must not be done later than the start 3rd quarter. Teachers are recommended to conduct electives and additional classes in the second half of the year, to meet the needs of those students who want to study additionally. The responsibility for the fact that the student does not cope with the test falls not only on him, but also on the teacher and the educational institution.

In addition to basic training, there should also be psychological preparation. The presence of representatives of the authorities and the Ministry of Internal Affairs where testing is carried out should not frighten students, they must be prepared for this and be aware of the absence of a threat from them. Parents are obliged to prepare the child for the exam on a par with teachers - to monitor the intensity of classes, the regularity of school attendance, his psycho-emotional state outside the walls educational institution, must set it up for success.

Unlike last year, when the materials on a number of subjects underwent revolutionary changes (the “guessing game” was excluded from them), the changes in the USE-2018 in most cases are “cosmetic” in nature - we are talking about clarifying the wording and criteria, adding individual tasks etc. Fundamental changes await only those who pass the literature - but even in this case, they concern the assessment system, and not the exam model as a whole.

No significant adjustments are expected in general rules certification. Despite rumors circulating, there will be no new compulsory subjects for all subjects in 2018, oral exam in the Russian language, FIPI also does not announce.

Will there be changes in the exam in the Russian language and mathematics

In 2018, two USE remain mandatory for all eleventh-graders - in mathematics and the Russian language.

Mathematics is still divided into two levels: profile and “lightweight” basic, and KIMs will be the same as in 2017, without innovations and additions.

The exam in the Russian language has undergone minor changes: task number 20 appeared in the part with short answers, aimed at testing knowledge lexical norms. For its successful implementation, it is necessary to find a lexical error in a small passage of text. The level of the task is considered basic, but despite its apparent simplicity, it requires a good language sense and can cause problems for many graduates.

The new task is estimated at one point, and, accordingly, the maximum possible primary score in Russian will increase slightly and will no longer be 56, but 57 points.

Changes in the Unified State Examination in Literature: a fundamentally new assessment system

Earlier, FIPI announced the introduction in 2018 of a radically new USE model in literature - it was planned to completely exclude blocks with short answers from it. However, this did not happen - the revolutionary model is still being discussed, and the 2018 demos at first glance do not differ much from the tasks of previous years. However, the changes in the assessment system are radical and, apparently, "prepare the ground" for the transition to a new model.

Maximum primary score in Literature increased from 42 to 57, and the number of points for tasks with short answers remained unchanged (maximum 12), that is, the "specific weight" of this part and its significance is significantly reduced.

Wherein assignment evaluation system with detailed answers has undergone very big changes:

  • the maximum score for tasks 8 and 15 (analysis of the work) rose 4 to 5;

  • comparative mini-essays in tasks 9 and 16 "increased in price" from 4 to 10 points, while the requirement to justify the choice of works was excluded from the task;

  • a detailed essay in task 17 can bring the examiner not 14, but 15 points.

Thus, the ability to consider literary work“in context” and convincingly comparing works of different authors becomes key for graduates - two comparative essays in total can bring more points than a “large” essay, which was previously the main bet.

Significantly changed and work evaluation criteria. In particular, much more attention will be paid to compliance with speech norms - this criterion is now in all tasks with detailed answers.

And one more fundamental addition to KIMs in literature. To write a detailed essay, not three topics are proposed, but four, corresponding to three thematic blocks:

Accordingly, one of the blocks can be represented by two topics - and for the first time in the framework of the Unified State Examination in Literature, they can affect works of contemporary Russian authors. Note that the codifier does not contain a list of specific works of post-Soviet literature that are required reading, and in teaching materials it is expressly stated that schoolchildren can reveal such topics in works of their own choice. In the demo version of the exam in literature-2018, as an example, next option: « Pages of Russian history in the latest Russian literature. (On the example of one or two works of the 1990s - 2000s)».

Changes in the exam in social studies in 2018

The structure and content of the most popular elective exam remain the same, but two tasks - 28 (drawing up a detailed plan) and 29 (essay) will be evaluated according to new criteria, while their “cost” will increase.

When drawing up a plan for a given topic now more attention will be paid to how specific the points of the plan are, and whether they allow to reveal the issue on the merits. "Abstract" wording like "background" that does not reflect the specifics of the topic will now not be counted. Drawing up such a plan will require a deeper knowledge of the topic - but the successful completion of the task can no longer bring 3 points, but 4.

Alternative mini-essay on social studies"raised in price" up to 6 points, and the evaluation criteria now allow a more accurate assessment of the graduate's knowledge of the theory of the issue. Task 29 is now evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • correctly disclosed the meaning of the original quote (1 point);

  • highlighting in the context of each thesis key concepts, main theoretical provisions, reasoning and conclusions (2 points);

  • scientific correctness of statements (1 point);

  • the quality of the examples chosen to illustrate the theoretical points (2 points).

The maximum primary score for this exam increases accordingly from 62 to 64.

Unified State Examination in History - no corrections, for rent by choice

KIMs-2018 in history will fully correspond to the previous year, no additions are expected. History remains an elective subject - according to the Ministry of Education, if this subject becomes mandatory, then not earlier than 2020, and only after a comprehensive discussion and "running in". And in no case will this be an unpleasant surprise for graduates.

Changes in the exam in chemistry: tasks with a single context

At KIMs in chemistry in 2018 add another task high complexity with a detailed answer (No. 30), total number tasks will thus increase from 34 to 35.

In this case, tasks 30 and 31 will be combined into a single context block: to solve them, it will be necessary to select substances from single list. The first of these tasks will be devoted to redox reactions, the second - ion exchange reactions, each will be able to bring 2 points.

At the same time, the maximum primary score will remain the same - 60, by reducing the "cost" of several tasks from the first part of the examination materials.

USE in a foreign language - clarification of criteria

In 2018, the “range” of languages for passing the exam still includes English, French, German and Spanish. The exam model as a whole will not change - it will still include written and oral part, and KIMs will remain the same. The changes will affect only the wording of the evaluation criteria tasks 39 (letter of a personal nature) and 40 (essay-reasoning) - they are clarified and concretized.

USE in Informatics - small changes

Despite the fact that for several years now there has been talk that it would be logical to use computer technology at the Unified State Examination in Informatics, in 2018 this subject will continue to be taken “the old fashioned way”, in writing, without using additional equipment and with an emphasis on theoretical questions.

The structure of the exam will remain the same, but the tasks will undergo some changes:

  • when completing task 25, it will no longer be possible to choose to write an algorithm natural language(this option turned out to be unclaimed by graduates and was used extremely rarely);

  • programs that used to be in C are now written in the more popular C++ language.

Unified State Examination in Physics - a new task has been added

Exam materials in physics in 2018 will be supplemented another basic task(No. 24), due to which the primary score will increase from 50 to 52. To successfully complete the task, the student must demonstrate knowledge of the elements of astrophysics.

Biology and geography - no change

Graduates who choose to take these subjects can safely prepare for the Unified State Examination based on the materials of previous years - there will be no changes in KIMs.

What will be the changes in the OGE (GIA) in 2018

The OGE (GIA) exams, which are taken by ninth-graders, change less frequently - for example, last year there were no changes in them at all, in 2018 FIPI plans to make adjustments to the examination materials in only two subjects:

  • mathematics,

  • literature.

Mathematics(which is taken by all ninth graders without exception) the changes will be more formal in nature: the section on real mathematics will disappear - but the tasks included in it will be divided into "Algebra" and "Geometry".

KIMs in Literature have undergone a more significant revision regarding the instructions for both the exam as a whole and the recommendations for completing specific tasks (the model itself has remained the same).

The criteria for evaluating tasks with detailed answers have also been redesigned - now they are more consistent USE criteria in eleventh grade. Due to this, the maximum primary OGE score in literature has “grown up” from 23 to 29.

Discussions about reform USE systems go for a long time. There were proposals to abolish this method of final examination altogether. The unified state exam is reproached for its stereotyped, superficial tasks. Teachers, especially university teachers, face the problem of declining skills oral speech school graduates. Nevertheless, the system shows an enviable viability. What changes will take place in the exam in 2018? Will the changes be significant or cosmetic? Let's analyze innovations and traditions.

Will the USE strategy change in the coming years?

The unified state exam has been introduced into the practice of general education schools since 2009. Since then, he has repeatedly been subjected to adjustments to the rules, but they were not significant. More serious reforms were promised by the previous head of the Ministry of Education Dmitry Livanov. He planned, first of all, to increase the number of compulsory exams, and, moreover, in the near future.

In August 2016, Olga Vasilyeva became Minister of Education. A clear answer was immediately given to those who were waiting for the abolition of the Unified State Examination - this will not happen, too much effort and money has been invested in this project. In addition, there are some positive results. But it is necessary to improve the system of final examinations of graduates.

Changes in the USE in 2018 will concern both quantitative and qualitative aspects of tests. The list of foreign languages that can be taken as a subject of choice has been expanded (Chinese has been added). The structure of CMM options has been improved. The results of the exam will affect the assessment in the certificate. About these and others USE changes in 2018 we will discuss in detail below.

Compulsory USE subjects in 2018

The plans of the previous leadership of education in the country were to increase the number of final exams for 11-graders to six, of which four were to become mandatory in the coming years.

Minister of Education O. Vasilyeva is an opponent of revolutionary changes, she believes that qualitative changes in the system can take shape only with gradual, progressive reform.

The third compulsory subject of the exam is necessary, but it is not a matter of one or two years, she is sure. History, social studies, physics, geography, and a foreign language most often appeared among the disciplines that were offered as the next mandatory for final testing.

Even the president of the country spoke out for the story. Social science is often chosen even now: about a third of all graduates take this subject as an additional one. Physics is logically preferred by those who plan to enter technical universities. As a result, Olga Vasilyeva in several public speaking already stated that the choice was made on history, but it will be included in the mandatory list no earlier than 2020.

In 2018, two mandatory exams remain - in the Russian language and mathematics.

Russian is passed orally - instead of the previous tests; and the second part of the exam is an essay. Mathematics, starting from 2015, is rented out in two streams. The basic level is provided for those who consider themselves humanities or simply treat this science “with coolness”. The profile exam is taken mainly by applicants to universities and other educational establishments where such knowledge is required: these are various technical faculties.

Writing - more creativity, less formalities

A little more about writing. Firstly, the usual marks will now be put for him - according to a five-point system. Previously, they were limited to stating: pass / fail. The scoring criteria are described in the information on the FIPI website. New system can be very helpful in getting into humanitarian university– these grades are “invested” in passing scores.

It will be easier to write an essay, as the range of topics has grown: instead of three there are now five, there are plenty to choose from. True, the volume has also grown: there was a minimum of 200 words, now we need at least 250.

Since 2018, tasks with short answers are leaving the exam. They appeared recently, instead of test questions with the choice of the correct version of the answer from the four proposed ready-made options. With the help of short answers, they tried to check the knowledge of the basics of terminology by schoolchildren. But Vasilyeva firmly leads the course towards the development of creative thinking and speech of graduates, and therefore this section of the exam was removed.

The task of analyzing the work remains, but is somewhat simplified. Here you need to write a mini-analysis based on the text presented in KIM. This source must be compared with some other text that the examinee will remember himself. Previously, it was necessary to bring two samples for analysis, so more complex analytical calculations were required.

This model has already been tested in 44 regions of the country and received good reviews.

Historical choice: when will the USE in history become mandatory

So, approximately in 2020 or a little later, among the subjects required for the exam history will go down. Olga Vasilyeva voiced this intention at the lecture “The Role and Place of Science and Education in Today's Russia. Challenges and Prospects”, which she did at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Air Force. Once again, the Minister of Education and Science returned to the issue during the investment forum in Sochi.

“Because without knowledge of history it is impossible to move on,” the minister motivated this choice. And she added that already in the 2017/18 academic year, new history textbooks will come to the regions.

Andrey Yemelyanov, head of the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science, continued the topic, explaining that the development of a mechanism for introducing a new exam has now begun, while the process of discussing the details is underway.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Science is ready to "listen to public opinion» about the importance of geography for the development of society. Many parents are talking about this, and the ministry is considering the possibility of introducing geography as a compulsory discipline for the GIA - the state final certification at the end of 9th grade.

Foreign languages - prospects for the Unified State Examination

A foreign language is in great demand today. It is needed for business, cultural ties, for travel and personal contacts, and in many other areas of life. So far, parents and children find a way out in extracurricular, circle classes, in visiting paid studios and inviting tutors. Someone chooses independent in-depth studies.

But talk about the introduction of the practice of mandatory USE in foreign language do not subside for several years.

For 2018, everything is clear: this subject remains in the format of an elective exam. The relevant Ministry came to the conclusion that it will be introduced into the number of mandatory only in 2022.

In the same academic year, 11th graders have the right to choose this test as an additional one. The choice of languages is extensive: in addition to English, German and French, which are widely studied in schools, you can also take Spanish and, since 2018, Chinese. The latter was successfully tested in Amur schools back in 2016. They passed the exams pretty well, and now the language that is native to about one and a half billion people in the world, the language successful business and unique culture will be studied and taken by all interested students. In the presence of trained teachers, but this still remains problematic.

USE changes in 2018 for other elective subjects

At choice, a high school graduate who plans to receive further education can take one exam, which will help him enter the chosen university, or several subjects.

Humanitarians have the right to take the exam to choose from in history, literature, social studies, a foreign language. Fans of natural and exact sciences will prefer biology, chemistry, geography, computer science and ICT, physics.

2018 will continue the process of activation creativity students, which they can show in exams. Removed the primitive test tasks of the past years, when it was necessary to mechanically choose the correct answer from those offered. Tests have been preserved only in relation to the exam in a foreign language, simply because this is the world experience.

Middle and high level difficulties will be practiced. For example, at the exam in biology and social science, the examinee will be asked to formulate short answers to the designated questions. And in informatics, tests will be held on computers.

USE 2018 in Crimea and Sevastopol

For graduates of Crimea and Sevastopol, the USE-2018 remains voluntary. This will last year when they are entitled to take advantage of this preference.

That is, at the end of the 11th grade, you can choose to either pass the final exams in the old way, according to the classical scheme that was in effect before the Unified State Examination, or prefer the unified state exam. If a graduate follows the old classical path, then when entering a university, he will also pass the usual entrance tests.
