Berdyansk University of Management and Business, one of the first universities of non-state ownership, was founded in 1992, as the Berdyansk Institute of Entrepreneurship. Today the university is licensed III level accreditation and trains highly qualified specialists in the field economics, management, law, sociology of business management, political science, information technology to work in a market economy.
Today, the structure of the university includes the following faculties:
Faculty of Economics; Faculty of Management and Business; Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies; Faculty of Law. Also at the university there is a Polish-Ukrainian department and a master's program. Currently, over 3,000 students are studying at the university in 21 specialties. The university students and staff have a good material base at their disposal: 4 academic buildings, 3 libraries, 4 cafes, 7 computer classes connected to the Internet. Many students and graduates of the university have an excellent opportunity to continue their education according to their profile (by transfer without entrance exams) at the National Law Academy of Ukraine (Kharkov), the National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", the Donetsk State Academy of Management, at the universities of Krakow, Rzeszow, Bielsko-Biala. Much attention at the Berdyansk University of Management and Business is given to international cooperation. Today, the university is developing strong ties with higher educational institutions in Germany, France, Bulgaria, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.

Berdyansk College of Economics and Law of BUMiB was established by order of the rector of Berdyansk University of Management and Business dated December 26, 2008 No. 738 "On the establishment of an Economics and Law College of Berdyansk University of Management and Business."
The college trains specialists at the educational qualification level junior specialist on the basis of complete general secondary education and basic general secondary education.
Education in the college is carried out on a full-time and part-time basis. The term of study is 3 years for full-time and 3.5 years for correspondence courses. Graduates receive a state-recognised diploma in the relevant specialty at the educational and qualification level - junior specialist.
The main goal of the Economics and Law College- organization of educational activities, which covers educational, educational and methodological work, fully complies with the Law of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education", the concepts set forth in the National Program "Education of Ukraine in the XXI century".
Organization of the educational process is carried out in accordance with the "Regulations on the organization of the educational process in the credit-modular system". The curricula and curricula of the college are coordinated with the curricula and programs of BUMIB, since the students of our university have the opportunity to continue their education at the University for a shortened period of study.
Assessment of educational achievements college students fully complies with the criteria for assessing knowledge in the credit-modular system. For this, a system and criteria for the current and final assessment of students' knowledge in all disciplines have been developed to ensure the possibility of constantly determining the rating of each student.
Logistics support of the educational process
All conditions have been created in the college for the implementation of an effective educational process and the training of highly qualified specialists. Modern learning technologies have been introduced into the educational process, which involve the use of modern computer equipment. The Internet is available to students. Own library is provided with textbooks, professional and periodical literature.
Full-time students have internships at leading enterprises, organizations, banks and financial institutions in the city of Berdyansk and the Azov region.

Faculty of Economics Provides training of economists for the national economy of Ukraine and other countries.
