Electoral commissions organizing elections

This autumn, elections of municipal deputies will be held in almost all districts of Moscow. You, most likely, have never heard and do not know anything about the activities of district deputies. But this does not mean at all that it makes no sense to come to the polling stations on September 10 and choose 12 worthy deputies (namely, that many people are part of our deputy council).

The main problem of the current municipal deputies in many districts of Moscow is the lack of desire and reason to do anything in the interests of residents. This is a direct consequence of the fact that the majority of the members of the council went to the deputies not of their own free will, but at the direction of representatives of the executive branch.

For five years now, the main occupation of the Akademichesky district deputy council has been approving and coordinating decisions of the council, prefecture or city authorities. That is why landscaping is becoming
unexpected and not always pleasant surprise for residents, and its integral part is the senseless and merciless replacement of asphalt and curbstones, which, as a rule, do not need to be replaced.

Otherwise, our deputies lead a secretive life, rarely appear in public and are not at all eager to see the inhabitants of the district at their meetings. However, one can talk about what the current deputies do not do as one would like, for quite a long time. Let's talk better about what can be changed by choosing
to the new composition municipal assembly independent candidates with their own views and good those who know the problems district.

How independent district deputies can help

Informing and openness

You can easily find the contacts of your deputy in the public domain, contact him, get an appointment with him and ask questions of interest. You will always be aware of the events taking place in the council and will be able to attend meetings or watch them live.

landscaping

At the end of each year, the council of deputies agrees on the improvement of the area for next year. Good deputies will not vote without objection for the first plan proposed by the council, but first inform the inhabitants about it, find out their opinion and make amendments to the plan. Also, independent deputies will be able to submit and approve al-
ternative improvement plans, the implementation of which will make it possible to turn courtyards into comfortable public spaces.

Porch repair and overhaul

Everything that has been said about landscaping also applies to the repair of entrances and overhaul houses. Municipal deputies also have the right to coordinate the work and accept them after completion and subject to
vii elimination by the contractor of all identified comments. Naturally, these processes should take place in close contact with the residents of the house being renovated.

public hearings

Independent deputies will attend important public hearings for the district regarding construction plans, land surveying and other projects. At the same time, the unanimous speech of the council of deputies against the project that violates laws and the rights of residents can become a weighty argument in favor of its cancellation or revision. Alas, the deputies of the current
convocation almost never supported the residents at the hearings.

Five-story buildings

The majority of independent deputies in the local council may also play an important role in the history of the demolition of five-story buildings, which will somehow affect a significant number of residents of the area. The Free Council will be able to send appeals to the mayor's office and other instances and will be ready to defend the interests of rallied people who do not agree with the actions of the city authorities, and not indifferently watch what is happening.

This list is far from complete - despite the limited powers local government in Moscow, active deputies can be of great benefit to the district. By coming to the polling station on September 10 and voting for independent candidates, and not for people obedient to the district council, you will definitely not lose anything. The new council of deputies will not be worse than the current one (simply because there is almost nowhere worse), but it can very well become better.

How to identify an independent candidate, you ask. It's pretty simple. Before election day, he will personally come to your yard and personally ring your doorbell. He will tell about himself and the allied candidates, and also be sure to leave his contact details. He will ask you to help tell friends and neighbors about the elections - the only way he can count on success. And you know, when the choice is between such a person and a state employee running for the next deputy term, about whom you will not hear anything for the next five years, it seems obvious.

Dear Muscovites! This year the capital is celebrating its anniversary! Give Moscow a good turnout and a team of worthy deputies! Already this Sunday, September 10, elections of municipal deputies of the Tagansky district will be held. Precinct election commissions will work for you from 8.00 to 20.00.

A feature of the upcoming elections is that you can vote for several candidates at once. Choosing a whole group, you can end up with a strong team of deputies united common goal and capable of influencing decisions concerning the life and development of the area.

Political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin: a common feature of the elections is the disbelief of citizens that something can be changed

A distinctive feature of these elections was the general passivity of the population, which is convenient for the authorities and has no prospects for the country, political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin believes.

Regions. Oreshkin said that home-based and early voting would bring about 5% to pro-government candidates, which, given the low turnout, is a significant percentage. Andreevsky himself told the local publication Gorodskie Vesti that he gives out equipment for Nordic walking only for the duration of the training under the supervision of a coach, and after it is over, the voters return the sticks.

A self-nominated deputy in Nizhny Tagil was attacked with a tire iron

Nizhny Tagil. Vyacheslav Goryachkin, a candidate for deputy of the Nizhny Tagil City Duma, was attacked by the driver of a Gazelle, who illegally delivered campaign materials of his competitor, United Russia party Igor Temnov, on election day. Self-nominated Goryachkin approached the bus and two Gazels, trying to find out by what right they were engaged in illegal campaigning; the driver of one of the Gazelles took out an agreement concluded with Temnov "On the placement of campaign materials." But, frightened by the approaching police, the driver jumped into the car and drove away. Goryachkin rushed into pursuit. I caught up in the private sector of the city - then the driver came out with a tire iron and began throwing stones at Goryachkin's car with varying degrees of success. The candidate for deputies wrote a statement to the police, the driver was detained.

Independent candidate Goryachkin is an employee of the Nizhny Tagil plant of metal structures. Supported by United Russia, Temnov runs the Tagil Tramway enterprise. AT this moment Temnov accused Goryachkin himself of illegal agitation.

"They'll come again, it's not evening yet." Vladimir Putin voted in municipal elections

Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin voted at polling station number 2151 in Moscow, which is located in the building Russian Academy Sciences. Even the day before, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Putin had not yet decided whether he would go to the polls or not.

At this site, you can choose from one to three deputies out of 18 candidates. In addition to the three self-nominated candidates, the list of candidates includes representatives of United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Yabloko, Rodina, Just Russia and the Party of Growth.

The President told reporters that he studied the biographies of candidates before voting, but "not very much" followed the course of the election campaign.

“The choice was conscious,” Putin said, but did not say for whom he voted, noting that “this is classified information.”

Putin also drew attention to the fact that the turnout at the polling station is low, but there are many media representatives, which “is also not bad, the interest of the press in the municipal elections is also important,” and residents “will come again, it’s not yet evening.”

In the elections to the city council of Omsk, 15 thousand people voted early. KPFR is sure that this was done under duress

“In the elections to the Omsk City Council, the authorities relied on early voting,” Alexander Kravets, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said at a press conference the day before. According to the regional committee of the party, many doctors, teachers, state and municipal employees, firefighters and other public sector employees, such as archives, voted forcibly.

“We received messages every day,” Andrei Alekhin, secretary of the regional committee, told Novaya Gazeta, “that state employees are being forced to take photographs of ballots with a tick in right place and then present them to the authorities.

The Territorial Election Commission for the Soviet District, according to Alekhin, introduced a new interpretation of Article 17 of the Federal Law “On Basic Guarantees of Citizens’ Electoral Rights” Russian Federation", where we are talking on the procedure for holding elections in places of temporary residence. “Such places include prisons, hospitals, and the TEC equated CHPP-3, CHPP-4, TGC-11, Titan Group (a group of companies producing synthetic rubber, phenol, engaged in biotechnology) with them. This means that either the workers of these enterprises will be brought by bus to the polling stations, or members of the election commissions will arrive there with ballot boxes.

In total, according to Andrei Alekhin, 15,000 people voted early in Omsk. The city election commission reports that 2.5% of voters fulfilled their civic duty before the election day.

Sverdlovsk region. At the Center for Public Observation, a call came from a polling station in the Vtorchermet district, at 22 Ferghana Street, that they were allegedly handing out pies for free on behalf of the Communist Party candidate for governor Alexei Parfyonov. Departure of the election commission specialists established that this candidate did not agitate anyone with pies, and there was no illegal trade.

And one more story with pies, but already in Yaroslavl: polling station buffets are seriously competing for the most delicious pies. The hashtag #buffetbattle has appeared on the network, according to which users post photos of baking.

Moscow is concerned about the abnormal number of people who voted at home

Hello, dear Muscovites, neighbors, friends!

This post about the upcoming elections will be the shortest in my entire history of writing articles. And why pour water when you can write only the essence, without any preface?

On September 10, 2017, municipal elections will be held for all district Councils of Deputies (except for the Shchukino district). Polling stations will be open from 08:00 to 20:00.

  • Moscow City Day, which was SPECIALLY rescheduled from September 2-3 to September 9-10;
  • Almost zero awareness of where you can vote (until now, there are almost no information announcements anywhere about where the polling station is located and that SUCH ELECTIONS exist at all);
  • Bad (cold and rainy weather). it important factor, which can cut the turnout of residents to a minimum.

Under such conditions, no opposition candidates will be able to win this election. Support for the party in power rests on discipline - they will come. What about good people who are planning to go to the dacha / stay at home / dance at a concert, etc., then the protest voter may not reach the polling station.

How can you help raise awareness and turnout in municipal elections?

  • Repost this post;
  • Tell your family/neighbors/friends/acquaintances/colleagues/your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/boss, etc. personally.
  • Come to the polls and vote YOURSELF - personal example no one has ever canceled and will not cancel.

That's the whole secret. I ask EVERYONE OF YOU: do not close your eyes to the elections, do not turn away from your district. Someday, a local activist to whom you give your vote in the elections will be able to help not only you, but also the district as a whole, taking a principled position local residents on problematic issues– paid parking, infill development, landfill, landscaping, etc.

P.S. Point information for residents of the Mozhaisky district of Moscow.

I ask you to support my candidacy in the multi-member constituency No. 1, which includes the following households (43,112 voters):

Whoever scores 5 wins best results. In our 1st constituency, 20 candidates were registered. Of these, only 5 will pass. Who should pass is up to us to decide. Definitely, it's time to update our Council of Deputies - we need new ideas and vectors for the development of the district.

Sincerely,

your neighbor
