18. Nex Machina

Save the world from evil robots together! The new top-down shooter from the skilled arcade developers Housemarque has become one of the best projects of 2017.

Sony is well aware that the console sells games, and not vice versa, and therefore launched many exclusives of various calibers into production. For those who still doubt whether to buy PS4, we have prepared a list of projects that will please the owners of the console in 2014. Alas, the exact release date is known only for inFamous, as for all the other games on the list - we can only hope for a vague "somewhere in next year". But, you see, it’s better that way than “somewhere in 2015”. So let's go.

Secret Ponchos

Publisher/Developer: Switchblade Monkeys

Despite its apparent attractiveness, the setting of the Wild West could not become completely popular, and there were not so many good games about cowboys in recent years (Red Dead Redemption, Call of Juarez series). To correct such an unfortunate misunderstanding, a small indie studio Switchblade Monkeys undertook its Secret Ponchos project. In it, the player will try on the role of an outlawed bandit, for whose head a reward has been appointed.

The game is focused exclusively on multiplayer, and PvP (player against player) is declared a priority mode. We will be able to participate in duels in pairs, group skirmishes or a massacre in the "All against all" discipline, earning reputation points. Promised to create your own character, pumping skills and unique abilities for different classes.

We will look at what is happening from above, and judging by the published gameplay footage, there will really be something to watch: the picture looks pretty stylish, and the battles seem quite dynamic.

The developers do not hide that they were inspired by the recognized eSports giants - Team Fortress, Street Fighter 2 and League of Legends. However, can such a mixture of a modern player be interested? We'll find out very soon.

Shadow of the Beast

Publisher: Sony

Developer: Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs

The seventh generation of consoles set the fashion for remakes - the same titles, completely different games. To list all the restarts of recent years, the fingers of both hands are not enough. And it looks like nextgen is going to continue that tradition.

Shadow of the Beast (1989), a classic 2D platform game from the notorious Reflection Interactive (creators of the Driver series), is just one of those projects that got a chance to be reborn. Almost nothing remained of the old game, except for the name, the name of the protagonist and the general plot twist. In the original, Aarbron was kidnapped as a child and turned into a slave monster in order to serve the cruel Lord Malethoth. The villain kills the hero's father, and he, wanting revenge, rebels against his master.

Alas, information on the game is negligible. It is known for certain that in the remake we will have to deal not only with the extermination of hordes of enemies, but also explore the unusual world of Karamun. As it is now accepted, gradually we will learn all the new fighting techniques(by the way, due to the blood of defeated enemies).

The developers also hint unequivocally that the online component will have a rather important role in the game: we will be able to find the souls of other players and fight them side by side, or ask them to show the way to new locations. To be honest, it's hard to say what will eventually come out of Shadow of the Beast, but the game's teaser trailer is extremely atmospheric. We are intrigued.

inFamous: Second Son

Publisher: Sony

Developer: Sucker Punch

The original inFamous did not become a breakthrough, but found fans in the camp of the PlayStation. A superhero game in a large open world, which could be easily and quickly navigated (the character could “ride” on wires, run and jump on buildings and fly for a short time), was to the taste of many. We enthusiastically roasted enemies with electric current, threw cars and every second made a micro-choice - to suck the life out of a peaceful citizen or die without correcting morality? Become bad guy or remain the guardian of order?

The second part at the conceptual level did not budge. Management has become a little more convenient, the missions are more interesting, and the graphics are prettier, but the essence has not changed a bit.

At first glance, all of the above applies to Second Son: despite the radical change in tone, the new hero and Sucker Punch's desire to screw drama and social satire to a purely comic blockbuster, at heart it is exactly the same game. The picture is amazing, the visual style and the study of the city are incomparable. But the mechanics of inFamous has remained virtually unchanged. Whether this is good or bad, we will find out on March 21.

The Order: 1886

Publisher: Sony

Developer: Ready at Down

The Hollywood fashion for dark and realistic remakes of famous universes has come to games. Beauty and the Beast's family troubles in The Wolf Among Us, crazy Alice Americana McGee escaping Lara Croft's rape... And now here are the heroes of the legends of King Arthur and the knights round table preparing to burn evil spirits on the streets of London in 1886. And in this specific case the approach hit the mark - Sony once again managed to intrigue the players with an original exclusive.

The game was created as if by order: good old story action without newfangled free-to-play, an interesting setting in which there was no place for invincible American marines, terrorists / aliens / demons / elves carrying democracy, an excellent picture using the latest achievements of computer graphics. It is still difficult to say whether the hit will turn out in the end: an unknown studio with no experience in developing big-budget projects, the lack of gameplay videos and many other dark moments do not allow us to draw unambiguous conclusions. But for now, all PS4 owners, current and future, should put The Order on their waiting list, and place the game at the very top of that list.

drive club

Publisher: Sony

Developer: Evolution Studios

Frankly, immediately after the announcement of DriveClub, we could not understand why Sony decided to make a competitor with their own hands. A serious racing simulator, where the study of car interiors is paid more attention than in other games to the face of the protagonist, a lot of licenses, luxurious graphics - and all this beauty was originally planned to be released a little over a month before the release of Gran Turismo 6 for the third PlayStation.

Understanding came later, when we were able to personally talk with both the creator of the GT, Kazunori Yamauchi, and the authors of DriveClub. To any question about social functionality, mobile integrations and other marvels of marketing and technology, Yamauchi-san annoyedly answered “no” and “no thanks” - his game is primarily about fighting with himself. At the same time, his colleagues at Evolution Studios set themselves the task of making a game about fighting with friends. Remember the Autolog system from NFS: Hot Pursuit? In DriveClub, the idea is elevated to an absolute: every action you take, every race you complete is carefully recorded by the game and then shown to people from the friend list in the form of a “ghost” on the track or an additional line in the standings.

As you can see, the answer to the question of which race from Sony to buy is quite simple: do you want to be in the “matrix”, where your every step is being monitored, or do you like to go through the same turn for the hundredth time to break your own record? The choice is yours.

RIME

Publisher: Sony

Developer: Tequila Works

Little is known about RIME yet: there are only very general words from the developers and a magical teaser trailer that does not reveal the gameplay. Nevertheless, the trailer is so impressive, so promising and, sorry, heartfelt, that the game can not wait.

Apparently, we are in for an exciting adventure in a fantasy world. An unnamed (so far) boy in a red cloak courageously walks towards his goal, wading through the difficulties that nature has prepared for him - sheer cliffs, dangerous animals and cold, as well as mystical creatures, spirits and monsters.

In many ways, RIME made so much noise because it instantly reminded everyone of Ico, a longtime masterpiece for the PlayStation 2. The developers from Tequila Works repeat the ideas of Team Ico in many ways - as you can see, the entire gameplay will be based on interaction with the environment. In addition to the obvious platforming component - endless jumping and climbing - we will have to solve non-banal puzzles (for example, involving sunlight).

Whether it will be possible to freely move around the world is not yet known, but we suspect that the developers will prefer a linear narrative - in games of this kind it is much more appropriate. The purpose of the entire event is also still a mystery: if in Ico we tried to save our beloved throughout the game, the idea of RIME is still not clear, other characters were not shown to us.

Nevertheless, we are extremely intrigued and cannot wait for the release of the project. Even if the authors end up with nothing, we won't be too upset - RIME's visual style and music alone are worth several Call of Duty.

Hohokum

Publisher: Sony

Developers: Honeyslug, SCE Santa Monica Studio

It is very difficult, if not impossible, to describe in words what Hohokum is. But we'll still try. So, imagine the classic "Snake", which ... swallowed psychoactive substances. No clear 90-degree turns, from now on you are free to move in any direction. A motley snake travels through an equally colorful world, inhabited by the same creatures of all kinds of bizarre forms.

In this game, you don't have to score points, there is no time limit, and there is not even a training mode. The developers openly declare that you will need to "just relax and enjoy the experience and music." In other words, no challenge - just a meditative contemplation of what is happening.

Hohokum will have several different worlds, each with unique creatures and quests. So, in one of them it is necessary to light the lights, flying past certain silhouettes. At the same time, each time you turn on the conditional light bulb, new sounds will be added to the musical theme of the level.

And yet, no text is able to convey what this game is like. Therefore, we recommend that you personally search for Hohokum gameplay videos on the Web. However, we want to warn you right away - an unprepared person may feel dizzy when viewing them in ten seconds, and this is what will most likely scare away part of the audience from the game. And some, on the contrary, will attract.

What series would you like to see on PS4?

1. Twisted Metal

Unfortunately, the 2012 game didn't break the bank, but it was a favorite among fans of the series. And we still need to look for such a crazy action race. We hope that Sony will still decide and continue the franchise, at least in the form of purely online entertainment - without Twisted Metal in the new generation it will be sad.

2. Siphon Filter

Siphon Filter was very successful in the days of the first PlayStation, but with the advent of PS2, it disappeared safely. The reason for this was much more talented Splinter Cell and Hitman, instantly overshadowing the Sony series. Since the release of the last part, Logan's Shadow, six years have passed, and it seems to us that now is the time to return - Siphon Filter, with due diligence, has every chance to get into the big leagues again.

3 Crash Bandicoot

Games about the red-haired bandicoot Crash (who, however, always looked more like a fox) not only sold a total circulation of 40 million copies, but also achieved a couple of important achievements - they proved that with straight arms you can squeeze much more out of the console than you think, and convinced The Japanese are that the US also knows how to make games. Crash Bandicoot is one of the few episodes that sold in the Country rising sun millions.

Alas, in the last generation we really did not see the games about Crash, so we really hope that he will return with renewed vigor already in this one.

The PlayStation 4 has been on the market for four years now. And during this time, she managed to acquire a fairly solid gaming library. However, 100% of the hits to which you can stick fashionable in the Russian game magazine of the 1990s, literally saturated with English words and borrowings (now everything is different, more decent, cleaner, but much more boring, without fumes; in the past, Nazarov gag, there is no more “Left Thread” , ZYCH is archaic, and the "Great Dragon" was as if in a parallel universe), the Must Have icon, not so much, sorry, and a lot.

The situation, of course, will be corrected, and with the improvement of the PS4 gaming position, this material will also expand. In the meantime, choose from the proposed. I did not limit myself exclusively to exclusives and shy away from remasters; no, the whole library is considered. And here is what I (and most of the specialized media, too; what is there) can recommend to you.

Yes, the text is constantly updated.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (+ Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine)

The best game in recent years. And, probably, the point. Since the days of Baldur's Gate at the beginning of the millennium, there has not been a more ambitious, lively, atmospheric, filled with content from and to and a dozen more! The pinnacle of the evolution of the RPG genre, where every little thing matters. Where virtual heroes they outdid their book ancestors (have you ever seen this before?). Where everything is so real that the real world seems like a boring parody after passing the latest Blood and Wine expansion.

Music, style, combat system, locations, colors, serious themes without any "buts"; the same dream project that came true nowhere in Japan and did not come from the pen of a Western “dream team”, but was embodied by the Polish team CD Projekt RED. Haven't played yet? Then I envy you, all the best is ahead of you!

Grand Theft Auto V

Even if you've already explored it up and down on PS3 (which was probably a couple of years ago), don't be too lazy to try the PS4 edition. On a more powerful console, it looks much better, boasts a lot of improvements (including a whole first-person mode; you know what? works!) And an even more vibrant and realistic world. Plus online GTA is now updated exclusively for "powerful" versions.

Incredibly large-scale project of the level of the third Witcher. And with heroes no less bright and charismatic than Geralt. You will remember Trevor forever. He is now part of the cultural and information space, like, for example, the heroes of Tarantino films.

Red Dead Redemption 2

It would seem that it is cooler than Grand Theft Auto V developers from Rockstar will never jump again. But no, we could. Red Dead Redemption 2, apparently, is just what the change in generations of gaming systems is for. It is unlikely that we will see something cooler on Xbox One and PS4 from a technical point of view. An epic for another hundred hours and everything that can be said about the Wild West.

Better than any western.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (Exclusive)

The first exclusive in the collection; continuation of the cult trilogy about the adventures of the modern Indiana Jones, the brave Nathan Drake. Fans of adventures in the style of Lara Croft with a simple (relatively) plot and characters worked out for 5+ will be satisfied. The fourth installment is without a doubt the best in the series. The most beautiful, the most serious and the most fascinating.

Fans of the first three series and those who in Uncharted "one", "two" and "three" (like me, by the way) did not notice anything special will be satisfied.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (Exclusive)

No, not an add-on, but an independent game in the world of Uncharted with girls in the lead roles.

It is in The Lost Legacy that the largest location in the history of the franchise is presented. And here is a rather gloomy and unconventional plot for the series.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition

The best co-op game on PlayStation 4 and one of the best co-op monster RPGs with your friend, girlfriend or spouse. A treat for fans of endless battles, level-ups and loot collecting. And in general, the best Diablo of all that was.

Just be aware that there is no difference whether you play on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 or Xbox One.

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

Another cooperative role-playing project; only this time not a hack'&'slash, but a thoughtful, full-on, deep RPG with turn-based combat. However, the game mode for two here is made, it seems to me, ideally on a game console. Something like this could be a modern cooperative Baldur's Gate. One of best RPGs on PS4, as well as a "gold" Co-Op project.

Justifies the purchase of a second joystick.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition

Everything positive that was in the first part, we multiply by two. And we get one of the best isometric RPGs since Baldur's Gate.

Bloodborne (Exclusive)

Crazy about Demon's Souls, have you explored the length and breadth of the Dark Souls trilogy? Well, Bloodborne is even better! In addition, the game will not appear anywhere except on the PlayStation 4. Complex, beautiful, atmospheric, besides, not devoid of (albeit sketchy, but in any way better than in the Souls-series) some kind of story.

One of the reasons to buy a PS4.

The Last of Us: Remastered (Exclusive)

Everyone was crazy about the original The Last of Us (I'll be honest, me too). Remaster is all the same, only more beautiful.

Passed on PS3 already? You can pass by... No? Then this is the best option.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V is worth playing on PS4 or Xbox One (PC is fine too, but we have a console site). The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are much less beautiful. First things first, remember this is not the Metal Gear Solid we're used to. This is something new; more like a spy action shooter with an open world, a lot of repetitive (yes, yes, the game is monotonous) gameplay, 70-80 hours of commercials, and a minimal plot load.

For example, I am against this. But we won't see another one. Kojima is gone, and Konami will do with Metal Gear... Well, for example, Revive or Pachinko. The latest Kodzimovsky MGS is this one, the fifth one.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

And you can also play it on any other relevant (and not even too) platform. However, the fact that this is one of the best first-person shooters in recent years is a fact. The fascist theme is revealed here from an unexpected angle, and the relationship of the main characters is at the very center of the screenwriters' attention; the characters and their feelings are believable, you believe in them.

The gameplay didn't disappoint either; Bethesda has released a top-notch shooter that is a breeze to play. Better than the new Doom!

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

Lara Croft's latest adventure hit PS4 a year late; That's how many exclusive rights Microsoft owned. Well, the wait was not in vain. The 20th Anniversary Edition of the series that once appeared on the Sega Saturn (yes, yes, that version was ahead of the PSOne disc) contains all the DLC, a unique Blood Ties episode, limited PlayStation VR support (but at least there is) and several retro skins for the main character.

Personally, I liked even more than the fourth Uncharted.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Most gaming journalists called Arkham Knight The best game in the Arkham series. Moreover, they praised the gameplay, the plot, and the incredible amount of content and the huge cast of DC heroes. It's like that; the story of Arkham Knight turned out to be even more touching and twisted than in Arkham City. Rocksteady put an end to the franchise with another Must Have.

Fallout 4

Fallout 4 did not become the ideal post-apocalyptic RPG; however, she managed to give unforgettable hours of walking around the world incinerated by nuclear war. Opening scenes from nuclear explosions incomparable, the addition of a companion dog is appropriate, building a house can drag out the storyline more steeply. Fallout 4 is not similar to Fallout 3 in much the same way that it is different from Fallout 2. Still, the graphics are a little prettier.

But fans of open worlds and similar settings don't really have to choose. There is, however, Wasteland 2, but it is completely different, closer to isometric Fallouts.

Life is Strange

A wonderful story, one of the most adult and tragic games, real high art, more like a movie. It's all about Life is Strange. Which, in addition to the above, is also a story of parting with childhood, growing up, the catastrophic consequences of a choice, a drama about the mistakes of youth, forgiveness and the ability to understand yourself and the world around you. And wrap it all up in the form of a sci-fi thriller-catastrophe with time travel. You believe in the characters (we were younger…), you sympathize, you empathize, you love.

A kind of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, only cooler and more mature. Too bad it's over, right?

p.s. Life is Strange: Before the Storm not worse than the original, although without fiction.

Ratchet & Clank (Exclusive)

Another rare exclusive on our list of the best games for PlayStation 4. This is exactly what the next generation Ratchet should have been. You can only complain about the lack of cooperative passage. Other than that, it's a great reimagining of a classic; bright, colorful, not stupid (like a movie based on motives), full of carbon monoxide gameplay and various levels. If the series continues to move in this direction, hardly anyone will regret it.

Yes, they sell the game at a discounted price. There is no reason not to take it.

Mortal Kombat X

The main fighting game for Russian evenings. Well, until Tekken 7 came out. Injustice and Street Fighter V did not take root with us too much, but Mortal Kombat has been loved since barefoot childhood. Mortal Kombat X is almost the same as Nine, only with a worse plot and a greater variety of heroes (get the XL version).

There's not much to say here. Love MK? Then you already have this game.

Assassin's Creed: Unity

I still consider Black Flag to be the best Assassins' Creed in history. The game is on PS4, but it is still from a different generation (I will recommend it for PS3, although the Wii U is even more convenient to play thanks to the features of the tablet controller). But Unity is just the same Next Gen. With beautiful graphics, believable Paris, a beautiful story and an amazing atmosphere of antiquity and good adventure. It is better than Syndicate in every way and much more beautiful (the developers deliberately decided to worsen the visual range, having experienced a bunch of problems with the optimization of Unity).

And you should play right now, after correcting all the errors.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

And we will recommend Mankind Divided to those who liked Human Revolution. The novelty is weaker than its predecessor in everything, except for graphics, but it still remains one of the best cyberpunk games of the generation. The trouble is that it ends too quickly.

Otherwise, it's still the same Human Revolution, only a little less inventive.

Our top best PS4 games will be constantly updated. Fortunately, the flow of AAA and indie hits will become more and more. It seems to me that the golden years of the console are yet to come. So stay tuned for updates.

Final Fantasy XV

The most beautiful Final Fantasy ever. Unfortunately, not exclusive to PlayStation 4. The latest numbered "Fantasy" from Square Enix has a very interesting cast of characters, boasts an abundance of additional tasks, an open and very picturesque world, and the ability to ride a car.

This is the most unusual Final Fantasy we've ever seen. Not the best, but very worthy. Do not miss! We read.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (Exclusive)

A remaster of Final Fantasy XII, released ten years ago on PS2.

A lot of work has been done: the game really looks many times more modern, and it's easier to play.

Kingdom Hearts III

The game exceeded all the wildest expectations of the fans. More than ten years of waiting was worth it. Story development, script, graphics, characters, music; In this game, literally everything has its place. And it is also a real project with a soul, a game that charges with optimism and the desire to live.

Persona 5 (Also available on PS3)

Probably the main JRPG of the generation. Something for which you can part with 4 thousand rubles and then never regret it. The best part of Persona, the best role-playing game of recent years. Deep, fascinating, filled with colorful characters, romance, philosophy. Moreover, it is huge, multifaceted, immense. Piece goods.

And yes, a must have!

Tekken 7

The King of Fatyings is back. Tekken 7 is what Tekken 5 and 6 never managed to be. It's a fun fighting game that's just as fun to play alone as it is to face a live opponent.

A powerful storyline, a variety of characters, polished gameplay and the most impressive visuals in the history of the series.

Until Dawn (Exclusive)

A very strong horror in which the line between cinema and game is erased. The plot is a typical teenage horror movie in the style of "Scream" or "I know what you did last summer", but who survives is entirely up to you.

And it's really scary.

Gravity Rush 2 (Exclusive)

Unusual, stylish, with a very bright main character, Gravity Rush 2 certainly deserves to be among the best PS4 games. 81 out of 100 on Metacritic.

However, it should be understood that the project is not for everyone.

Horizon: Zero Dawn (Exclusive)

One of the brightest and most exciting games for the PlayStation 4. Huge, solid, open world, a lot of secrets, a big and beautiful story, a high-quality, deep combat system and, of course, stunning graphics. The best game from Guerilla Games without a doubt.

Nier: Automata (Console Exclusive)

An unexpectedly powerful sequel to an otherwise good game. Stylish, heartbreaking story about humanity and struggle, as well as the eternal questions of life in the entourage of a dead world, captured by mechanical monsters. A sad tale with polished gameplay. it's a gem of the action genre.

Nioh (Exclusive)

samurai epic the highest level difficulties. Something like Dark Souls, only in the Land of the Rising Sun. The perfect example of seasoned style and the deepest gameplay. Everyone should get to know.

Yakuza 0 (Exclusive, also released in Japan on PS3)

Resident Evil 2 (Remake)

remake resident evil 2 is even cooler than the remake of the first part, released on the GameCube many, many years ago. You will experience the same sensations that you experienced playing the original second series of the main horror series of the generation. Adjusted for cool graphics, great gameplay and all modern features.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition

If you are interested in large-scale role-playing games, and The Witcher 3 has already been completed, take it without hesitation. Huge, beautiful again, thanks to an upgrade for powerful hardware, and with mod support, Skyrim - Special Edition doesn't feel dated at all.

The Last Guardian (Exclusive)

Yes, the game, which was in endless development, finally came out. As expected, it received high marks from critics, was warmly received by the players, but Sony did not bring a lot of money. Nevertheless, this is a very interesting and touching intimate story about the relationship between a boy and a huge animal in a world that is imbued with the spirit of ICO and Shadow of Colossus.

World of Final Fantasy

A great classic RPG with a retro feel that reminds us of why we used to love Final Fantasy so much. Recommended for review after Final Fantasy XV.

Gran Turismo Sport (Exclusive)

Gran Turismo Sport may not have become Gran Turismo 7, but it showed where the series is headed next. The direction is correct, it remains to add more content.

Here and VR, and multiplayer and a powerful single, as well as the signature atmosphere of Gran Turismo.

Assassin's Creed Origins

The best Assassin game since Black Flag. And really a new word in the development of the franchise.

A huge open world, a great storyline, beautiful graphics, a new combat system, relevant role-playing elements; everything is good in Origins.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

The sequel turned out in the best traditions of the original.

This is still one of the most interesting story-driven shooters on the current generation of consoles.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

The original Crash Bandicoot trilogy with the same gameplay, the same levels and favorite characters, only with Ratchet & Clank level graphics on PS4.

For those who played in the 1990s, this is the best gift.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Remember Enslaved and Heavenly Sword? So, Hellblade is both similar to them and at the same time manages to rise in everything, except perhaps for the duration.

This is one of the best games in terms of plot and the most atmospheric action movie of recent years.

Monster Hunter World

Giant game for hundreds of hours (for which, by the way, my brother bought a console). For fans of Monster Hunter and generally monumental, complex and deep games. The most beautiful game in the series, and one of the most interesting games of the generation with a unique atmosphere and even a decent storyline!

For those who want to drop out of life for a week or two.

Shadow of the Colossus (Exclusive)

The best possible version of Shadow of the Colossus, a modernized classic. Must Have for all connoisseurs of beauty. New reason buy a PS4 console.

One of the saddest, most beautiful and soulful games. Art.

God of War (Exclusive)

The main PS4 game of 2018. One of the largest, most beautiful and complex. The current God of War is much closer to epics like The Witcher 3 and Horizon than to the original trilogy.

Game for tens and tens of hours.

Spider-Man (Exclusive)

Spider-Man is not only the best Marvel game of all time, but also the best game from Insomniac Games.

Dragon Quest XI

One of the best Japanese RPGs in recent years. And the best part of the series since Dragon Quest VIII on PS2.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

The first part was a really cute and stylish fairy tale at the sunset of the PlayStation 3. The second series is better in every way, especially in terms of variety. This is one of the strongest Level-5 games, and also a sincere, beautiful fairy tale, to which the hackneyed phrase fits: "The kind that they don't make anymore." Light, kind, a kind of new Final Fantasy IX or Breath of Fire 3.

Assasson's Creed: Odyssey

Assassin's Creed has become a full-fledged role play the scale of The Witcher 3 and Skyrim. All the best that was in the series and even more. The biggest and most beautiful part of the series.

Detroit: Become Human (exclusive)

Manifesto of humanity and storytelling by David Cage. Somewhere too moralizing, sometimes too pompous, but in general this is a very lively story and one of the worthwhile exclusives for PS4.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Spyro is back with all of its original charm, only with a vastly improved visual. Both fans of the PS1-era trilogy and newbies should check it out.

Soul Calbiur 6

After so many years, the SoulCalibur series is back. Not to say that this is a perfect sequel, but the combat mechanics have not failed for two decades. "Six" will appeal to all fans and will not scare off just fans of the genre.

Valkyria Chronicles 4

Sega has finally released a true sequel to the original. If you ever fell in love with the characters and the world in the original Valkyria Chronicles, you won't be disappointed with the "four" (which is, in fact, the real and only true "two").

Good games on PlayStation 4

  1. The Witness: The puzzle is not without atmosphere.
  2. Rocket League: The perfect car football for multiplayer games.
  3. Overwatch: Another purely multiplayer fun.
  4. Firewatch: A book game with a complex plot and almost no familiar gameplay.
  5. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor: A game that reminds both Assassin's Creed and the Batman: Arkham series at the same time. Little plot, but a lot of bright battles.
  6. Middle-earth II: Shadow of War: The continuation is better than the original in everything, so if you missed the first part, start with this one, there is simply no point in playing the first one.
  7. Dark Souls III: Passed Bloodborne? Want more? Dark Souls III will do.
  8. Inside: A dark adventure in Limbo style from its creators.
  9. Dragon Age: Inquisition: Many times weaker than The Witcher, but for fans of the genre completely.
  10. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (exclusive): A kind of remake of Odin Sphere with PS2; charming just like the original.
  11. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn(+ Heavensward): The main MMORPG for the console.
  12. doom: The new Doom is very fast, dynamic, not smart at all, but very addictive.
  13. Far Cry 4: For lovers of open worlds, hunting animals, capturing towers and trips over rough terrain with shooting natives.
  14. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered: One of the best PS3 games is still one for PS4.
  15. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - New 'n' Tasty: A meticulously revised verbatim retelling of the original from the PSOne era with new graphics.
  16. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag: Didn't listen, didn't play on PS3? Well, on PS4 the game looks best.
  17. Project CARS: But only until you wait for Gran Turismo.
  18. Driveclub (exclusive): On Xbox One, the number one arcade racer, Forza Horizon 3, is way better; but on PS4 the exclusive is what it is.
  19. inFamous: Second Son (exclusive): Fans of the inFamous series will love it. The rest are past.
  20. Day of the Tentacle Remastered: A wonderful remake of the cult adventure game of the past.
  21. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter: Another plot (but not gameplay) masterpiece.
  22. Wasteland 2: Director's Cut: Post-apocalyptic game number two after Fallout 4. For some, it may be number one.
  23. Dying Light: One of the best zombie games with one of the most elaborate open worlds in modern gaming. With the addition of The Following, and at all, the dream of a zombieman.
  24. I Am Setsuna: Very cute and lively JRPG in the style of 16-bit hits. At the same time, the story here is one of the saddest in the genre. From Square Enix.
  25. Just Cause 3: After numerous patches, you can finally plunge into a giant open world and engage in destruction and fun
  26. Battlefield 1: A massive multiplayer epic, now with a decent story mode as well.
  27. Titanfall 2: A beautiful, exciting and, surprisingly, soulful game.
  28. FIFA 17: The real story FIFA, as it turns out, is quite interesting.
  29. FIFA 18: And FIFA 18 is still better than 17.
  30. Pro Evolution Soccer 2017: The traditional competitor of the series from EA.
  31. Watch Dogs 2: The second part is much better than the first. If GTA V was not enough for you, then here is your choice.
  32. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Call of Duty in the future and with cool actors. Passing blockbuster, but fun!
  33. Call of Duty: World War II: Good Call of Duty in the old tradition of the series. Too short…
  34. Star Wars: Battlefront: No single, only multiplayer. But very beautiful and with spirit " Star Wars". Battlefront II is not better at all, which is why it is not in the top.
  35. Hitman: For fans of the same, the first Hitman.
  36. The Banner Saga 2: A magical fairy tale from real artists. Piece goods.
  37. XCOM 2: For those who love complex and smart tactical strategies.
  38. The Evil Within 2: If the first part could be safely skipped, then the second is something like a modern Silent Hill 2.
  39. Yakuza: Kiwami (Exclusive): A wonderful remake of the very first Yakuza released on PS2. Great story, combat system and graphics from Yakuza 0.
  40. South Park: The Fractured but Whole: South Park fans will love this game. Others may be shocked by black humor.
  41. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider: Atmospheric, interesting action movie with an unusual world.
  42. Knack II (Exclusive): If the first part did not stand out in any way, then the second one became one of the best cooperative platform games on PS4.
  43. Lost Spear: A game from the creators of I Am Setsuna; nice classic old fashioned JRPG, slightly reminiscent of Chrono Trigger.
  44. Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT (Exclusive): Not at all the Dissidia we were expecting. However, a very beautiful Final Fantasy with a complex combat system but a lack of content.
  45. Attack on Titan 2: An unexpectedly good game with interesting fights and tons of fan service.
  46. Just Cause 4: Same as Just Cause 3, only bigger and a little better.
  47. Call of Cthulhu (2018): Not perfect, but the best game about Lovecraft's myths.
  48. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Unfortunately, the final part of the new trilogy turned out to be far from being as ideal as it seemed at the time of development. However, Lara fans are unlikely to miss this game.

If you think that GTA V is the most comfortable to play on PC, then you are wrong). On PS4 the game gives great picture, and stable fps.

Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection

A collection of games that includes three games: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake's Illusions. A delight for fans of the Uncharted game series, and a holy grail for those who want to get acquainted with one of the most iconic game series. 3 games for the price of 1 ... think about it).

bloodborne

The game is the ideological successor of previous games FromSoftware: Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. This should be enough, but the game really departed from the atmosphere of the Dark Souls series of games, and shone with its more elegant tones than the grotesque Dark Souls.

Metro Redux

The most "Russian" game of all that is on the console. how true patriot you buy this game. The collection has no flaws, and the price tag does not bite. 2 games for the price of 1.

Mortal Kombat XL

Every self-respecting console player should have a decent fighting game with them. And why is it not MK XL? The abundance of characters, everyone will find their favorite. Fatality, combo, sub-zero.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

The best role-playing turn-based game of recent years. If you are a fan of this genre and somehow didn’t notice it sideways, then you are crazy. I recommend it to everyone, even if you are an ardent pashnik, and you read the PS4 owners blog (somehow), buy the game Divinity: Original Sin !!!

Guitar Hero Live

The game is a reboot of the Guitar Hero series and the first new installment in the series since the release of Warriors Of Rock in 2010. if you love good music and challenge, the game will obviously suit your taste.

Journey Collector's Edition

3 simply wonderful indie games for which you can pay 1000 rubles. Where music and atmosphere can make half a AAA game look stupid.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Tough game, tough choice. But you might love this game so much that you'll change your name to Snake. Or hate it so much that you curse my blog. The creator and mastermind of the famous series Hideo Kojima raises difficult questions and continues to explore such complex topics as the psychology of war and violence that breeds more violence.
