Yankovsky brothers dynasty. What are the most famous acting dynasties in Russia. Beginning of adulthood

It would never occur to anyone to ask: "Which Yankovsky?" And you will not answer: "The same one." "The one" implies a continuation - "which". But Yankovsky is one ... Epochs changed, the country changed its name, collapsed political system, actors who were considered geniuses during their lifetime worked nearby. Yankovsky himself passed from age to age, and all these years, four long decades, he remained the first ...

He never aspired to fame, sensibly assessing the changeability of the actor's fortune: "I have long decided for myself: the wider the audience of the artist, the more he should feel responsible for what he does."

Oleg Ivanovich Yankovsky(February 23, 1944, Dzhezkazgan - May 20, 2009, Moscow) - Soviet, Russian actor theater and cinema, director, National artist USSR (1991), laureate of the USSR State Prize (1987), State Prize Russian Federation (1996, 2002).

The actor was most famous for his work in the films “Shield and Sword”, “Two Comrades Served”, “The Same Munchausen”, “Flying in a Dream and in Reality”, “Nostalgia”. On the theatrical stage, his most striking works were the roles in the performances “The Idiot” by F. M. Dostoevsky, “Blue Horses on Red Grass” by M. F. Shatrov, “Optimistic Tragedy” by Vs. V. Vishnevsky, "The Seagull" by A. P. Chekhov, "Jester Balakirev" by G. I. Gorin.

Oleg Ivanovich Yankovsky was born on February 23, 1944 in Dzhezkazgan (Kazakhstan). His father is Yan Yankovsky (later the name Ivan was fixed), an officer of the Semyonovsky Life Guards Regiment, in the First world war was awarded an officer's St. George's Cross, was repressed in Soviet times, and his family was exiled to Kazakhstan. Mother, fearing arrest, burned all the documents and photographs that testified to the noble roots of the Yankovskys.

Marina Ivanovna dreamed of becoming a ballerina in her youth. They had a large library, which was collected by the father and managed to save the mother. They lived from hand to mouth - the mother alone fed three sons and her mother on the salary of a simple accountant. They walked in rags, five of them huddled in a 14-meter room, but kept an extensive library, taught foreign languages, read a lot.

Over time, the family moved to Saratov. The eldest of the brothers, Rostislav, became an actor back in Dzhezkazgan, then went to Minsk, to the Russian Theater.

He took 14-year-old Oleg with him, where Yankovsky Jr. made his debut on stage - it was necessary to replace the sick travesty - the performer of the episodic role of the boy Edik in the play "Drummer Girl" by A. D. Salynsky. Oleg did not feel the importance of his participation in the performance - once he fell asleep in the dressing room and did not have time to leave.

Oleg loved football, which he became interested in while still living in Saratov. After moving to Minsk, he played for some time with Eduard Malofeev. But this hobby had a negative impact on his studies, and his older brother forbade Oleg to play football.

After school, Oleg was going to enter a medical school, but accidentally saw an ad for admission to the Saratov Theater School. To his disappointment, the admission tours were over, but Oleg decided to find out about the rules for admission to next year and went to the principal's office.

He only asked for his last name and said that Yankovsky was enrolled and that he needed to come to classes in early September. As it turned out a few months later, Oleg's brother - Nikolai - secretly from his family decided to act and successfully passed all the admission tours. Sincerely loving Oleg, Nikolai did not separate him from the stage. Oleg studied not without problems.

As the stage speech teacher recalled: “He spoke badly, had a heavy apparatus, opened his mouth incorrectly.” But in the role of Tuzenbach in the graduation performance "Three Sisters" Oleg Yankovsky managed to show himself as a promising, interesting actor, and this dispelled the doubts of the master of the course.

Oleg Yankovsky once admitted that his first love prompted him to decide to become an artist. When he lived in Minsk and studied in the 10th grade, his friend introduced him to Lilya Bolot, an athlete, very beautiful girl(she was 3 years older than Oleg).

To impress her, he introduced himself to her as an artist of the Minsk theater. But the deception was exposed and he vowed to become an artist to prove to Leela that he really could be.

The Yankovsky brothers with their mother

Once upon a time, a mother taught her sons: "If you decide to get married, then for the rest of your life. There is no need to start in a different way." All three Yankovsky brothers got married before the age of 21 - and it was for life. Oleg's unsleeping fate overtook him in the second year of college (Lyudmila studied a year older). She was very noticeable, beautiful, red-haired and insanely talented.

They soon got married. When, after school, Zorina was invited to the Saratov Drama Theater, she insisted that Oleg be taken there too. After graduating from the Saratov Theater School in 1965, Oleg was enrolled in the troupe of the Saratov Theater. Lyudmila quickly became a theater star, all of Saratov went to see her. Oleg, on the other hand, got only episodic roles. On October 10, 1968, the son Philip was born in the family.

Oleg Yankovsky got into the cinema almost by accident. The Saratov Drama Theater was on tour in Lvov. Oleg went to the hotel restaurant to have lunch. The director Vladimir Basov and members of the film crew of the future film novel "Shield and Sword" are located in the same restaurant.

They discussed where to find an artist for the role of Heinrich Schwarzkopf. Basov's wife, Valentina Titova, noticing Oleg at the next table, told the director: "Here sits a young man with a typical Aryan appearance." Basov agreed that the young man would fit perfectly, but “he, of course, is some kind of physicist or philologist. Where to find an artist with such a smart face?

Having met Oleg again at Mosfilm and having learned that he was an actor, Natalya Terpsikhorova, Basov's assistant, proposed his candidacy to the director. She found Oleg in the Saratov theater and invited him to audition. Stanislav Lyubshin, who had already been approved for the role of intelligence officer Johann Weiss (Alexander Belov), said: “We play and, like all actors in screen tests, we play terribly.

It’s not scary for me, I’ve already been approved, and Oleg began to worry so much! We had a white column there, marble, and he was paler than this column. And the longer Oleg held on to the column, the more beautiful he became. I then told Basov: “Vladimir Pavlovich, look how this guy suffers, how exactly you chose the artist.” And Basov agreed: "yes, he is getting prettier with every second, we approve him."

In the same year, Oleg played the Red Army soldier Andrei Nekrasov in Yevgeny Karelov's drama Two Comrades Were Serving. At first, he auditioned for the role of lieutenant Brusentsov, but the director, seeing Oleg on the samples, exclaimed: "We will not give this man to Wrangel."

After the release of the films "Shield and Sword" and "Two Comrades Were Serving", Yankovsky became famous. Saratov audience began to go to the theater on Oleg Yankovsky. Serious roles in the theater, interesting offers in the cinema fell one after another.

On the set of one of the films - "Racers" - he had an accident: the car with him and the operators turned over, flew somersaults. The operators were thrown onto the road, Yankovsky's leather jacket burned down, and by some miracle he himself remained without a single scratch.

In 1973, at the invitation of Mark Zakharov, Oleg Yankovsky moved to the Moscow theater named after Lenin Komsomol (Lenkom). Oleg Yankovsky recalled that time: “My transition to Moscow was difficult mainly in domestic attitude. Five-meter dorm room, little son… But professionally, I didn’t feel any apprehension.”

In 1976, Mark Zakharov was supposed to start filming the film " Ordinary miracle based on the play by Evgeny Schwartz. Mark Zakharov was offered to remove it. In the role of the Wizard, Mark Zakharov saw only Oleg Yankovsky. But before filming began, the actor suffered a heart attack, and he ended up in intensive care.

When Mark Zakharov came to the hospital to Jankowski, the actor said he was ready to give up the role. But the director said, “No. I will not part with you. Will wait". Filming has been suspended. And they started only after the actor left the hospital. Mark Zakharov later admitted: if there was no Wizard, then there would be no Munchausen, Swift and the Dragon.

In 1979, Mark Zakharov began filming the film "The Same Munchausen". The Arts Council did not approve Yankovsky, arguing that he was too young for the role of a baron who has an adult son. Grigory Gorin was also against Yankovsky's candidacy.

He wrote in his memoirs: “Before that, he played direct, tough, strong-willed people. I did not believe in his baron. Work began, and he got into character, changed before our eyes. He grew into the role, and Munchausen appeared - smart, ironic , thin. What a mistake it would be if we took another actor! "

True, then problems arose again. As Gorin later recalled, “during the dubbing of the film, it turned out that the magnificent-looking Baron Karl Friedrich Jerome speaks with some kind of Saratov accent and with great difficulty pronounces some words and expressions inherent in the German aristocracy.”

Gorin was not present during the dubbing of the final scene in the tone studio, where Baron Munchausen says the phrase that later became famous: “An intelligent face is not yet a sign of intelligence, gentlemen.” In the script, the phrase sounded like this: “A serious face is not yet a sign of intelligence, gentlemen,” but Oleg Yankovsky misspoke, and so this phrase, to Gorin’s displeasure, became winged.

On December 31, 1979, the premiere took place. This film has become calling card Oleg Yankovsky. In spite of a large number of magnificent roles played by the actor after this film, his best role often called the role of Baron Munchausen.

Oleg Yankovsky often recalled in his interviews about the “role formula” that Mark Zakharov found for him: “When Mark and I discussed how to play Munchausen, he remembered this parable: They crucified a man and ask: “Well, how are you doing there?” - "Nothing ... Only smiling hurts."

From the memoirs - “I really choked with happiness only in 1983. Then everything matched! I filmed in Italy, near Tarkovsky himself." Anatoly Solonitsyn was supposed to play the main role in the film "Nostalgia", but he died of lung cancer in June 1982, and Tarkovsky offered this role to Oleg Yankovsky.

Solonitsyn died before the script was written, and therefore the script was written specifically "under Yankovsky." Tarkovsky decided to prepare the actor for the role. Yankovsky was settled in a hotel and simply abandoned - without knowledge of the language, without money.

One week passed, then another, no one showed up. The delight from the meeting with the capitalist abroad was replaced by melancholy. Yankovsky was already in despair, and then Tarkovsky finally appeared. Seeing the dead look of the actor, he said: "Now you can shoot."

The film was shot in three months. In 1983, Italy entered the film at the Cannes Film Festival with the expectation of a Grand Prix. But the film did not receive a prize, Tarkovsky blamed Sergei Bondarchuk, who was on the jury, for everything. The director decided to stay in Italy, "Nostalgia" was banned from showing in the USSR.

In 2000, Oleg Yankovsky, together with Mikhail Agranovich, staged his own film “Come See Me” based on the play by Nadezhda Ptushkina “While she was dying ...” and played the main character in it, Igor, the “new Russian”, who mistakenly fell into the “old Russian ”- an old maid caring for her dying mother.

In July 2008, Oleg Yankovsky became ill at a rehearsal, he was hospitalized, doctors diagnosed ischemic disease hearts. In Lenkom, the performance "Jester Balakirev" was held, where he played the main role. In order for the actor to withstand the load, doctors injected potent drugs.

At the end of 2008, when his condition worsened, he again turned to the doctors. The actor complained of constant pain in the stomach, nausea, aversion to fatty foods, he lost a lot of weight. The diagnosis confirmed the worst fears - the disease (pancreatic cancer) was detected at a late stage.

At the end of January 2009, the actor flew to Essen, Germany, for treatment by the German oncologist Professor Martin Schuler, a specialist in cancer therapy. The treatment did not help, and Yankovsky, interrupting the treatment, returned to Moscow in less than 3 weeks.

In February, the actor returned to the theater and on April 10, 2009 Oleg Yankovsky played his last performance (Marriage).

At the end of April, the actor's condition worsened, he had internal bleeding, and he was again taken to the clinic. On the morning of May 20, 2009, Oleg Yankovsky died in a Moscow clinic.

Oleg Yankovsky was buried on May 22, 2009 at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow. Thousands of people came to see him off last way

June 30, 2009 at the Saratov Academic Drama Theater. I. A. Slonov, a memorial plaque was opened to Oleg Yankovsky (the authors of the project are Yuri Namestnikov, Fedor Yurchenko).

On May 20, 2010, commemorative plaques were unveiled on the building of school No. 67 in the Kirovsky district of Saratov, where O. I. Yankovsky studied from 1951 to 1958, and on the former building of the Saratov Theater School (now the building of the Theological Seminary). MIKHALKOV-KONCHALOVSKY

It is impossible to call the Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky acting dynasty exclusively, because they have writers, directors and public figures in their family, however, it is impossible not to mention one of the loudest and most numerous creative families in the country. The Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky dynasty began with the writer, poet, playwright, screenwriter, publicist and public figure Sergei Mikhalkov. The one who wrote about Uncle Styopa, the script for the film "Three Plus Two" and the anthem of our country.

Both sons of Sergei tied their fate with the cinema. The eldest son Andrei Konchalovsky is a director, screenwriter, public figure and winner of the "Silver Lion" at the Venice Film Festival for directing the film "White Nights of the Postman Alexei Tryapitsin."

In his first marriage to actress Natalya Arinbasarova, Andrei Konchalovsky had a son, Yegor, who followed in his father's footsteps and became a director.

The youngest son of Sergei Mikhalkov - Nikita Mikhalkov - not only writes scripts, makes films and occasionally plays roles in it with great success, but is also rightfully considered one of the most significant figures in Russian cinema today.

Unlike the eldest son Stepan, who played in two films in the early 90s, and then quit acting profession and became widely known as a successful restaurateur, the rest of the children of Nikita Mikhalkov from both marriages continued to build a career in cinema. Anna Mikhalkova started acting in 1995 and gradually moved from popular films to independent and auteur films. His outstanding talent has been noted by filmmakers more than once, as evidenced by the arsenal of the prestigious national film awards Golden Eagle, Nika and the prize of the Kinotavr festival.

Artem Mikhalkov also became an actor, and at the same time a screenwriter, director, producer and TV presenter.

The youngest daughter of Nikita Mikhalkov, Nadezhda, also became an actress and gained worldwide fame after the role of Nadia Kotova in her father's film Burnt by the Sun. Or rather, after her father carried her in his arms while receiving an Oscar for the film and the Grand Prix of the Cannes Film Festival.

It is surprising that none of the offspring of a high-profile family has yet shown the ability to draw, because the great Russian artist Vasily Surikov is in the Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky family.

Elena played her most notable roles in her father's films "Boris Godunov" and "Quiet Don", but the filmography of the actress was not destined to become extensive - Elena Bondarchuk died in 2009 from cancer.

Elena's son, Konstantin Kryukov, also connected his life with acting. The first popularity came to him after his uncle's film "9th Company".

Fyodor Bondarchuk continued his father's work, becoming not only a popular actor, but also one of the most replicated domestic directors of recent years, whose films "9th Company" and "Stalingrad" were nominated for an Oscar.

The father of many children, Mikhail Efremov, in turn, passed on his talent for acting to his sons. The son from his second marriage, Nikita, is a popular actor who gained fame after participating in the films The Ballad of the Bomber and Cinderella.

Hollywood is also full of blood ties. And not only thanks to the brave four of the Baldwin brothers. For example, the Redgrave-Richardson family is one of the oldest acting dynasties. The first actors in the family were Roy Redgrave and Margaret Scudamore, who played in silent films at the end of the 19th century. Their son - Michael Redgrave - a theater and film actor was very popular and was even awarded the Knight's title.

In a marriage with actress Rachel Kempson, Michael had three children: Vanessa, Korine and Lynn, each of whom connected his life with acting. Corin Redgrave played the most notable roles in the 90s in the films Four Weddings and a Funeral and Persuasion.

Korine's daughter, actress Gemma Redgrave, has played more than 40 roles in film and television, but she gained worldwide fame thanks to her role as Kate Stewart in the TV series Doctor Who.

Rostislav Yankovsky was born on February 5, 1930 in Odessa. The “roots” of the Yankovskys are Belarusian, which, by the way, is also evidenced by the surname itself, based on the name of Jan, Yanka. Yes, and the founder of the family was originally Jan Yankovsky, it was later in Russia that he became Ivan. Guards officer, staff captain of the Life Guards Semenovsky Regiment Ivan Yankovsky had to serve in the Red Army, along with Tukhachevsky ...

And, nevertheless, despite the faithful service in the Red Army, in Soviet times, Ivan Yankovsky was still repressed. And the family of the "enemy of the people" lived with him in many cities and villages. After the second arrest, the family moved to a village near Rybinsk. The city was famous for its huge "zone". What kind of people were sitting there at that time: actors, musicians, poets! And what concerts were given by my father's friends, "free settlers"!

It was in this intelligent, highly educated family that Rostislav Yankovsky grew up. True, as a temple of science, he did not particularly appreciate the school, and therefore did not particularly remember his school years. After school, the boy always hurried home. He wasn't very sociable at all. I preferred this childish loneliness. The guy read a lot, thought, and fantasies were born in his soul, filling the soul with a deep inner meaning ...

But the game in various drama circles was, perhaps, the only outlet among the school routine. Then, during the war, the young man was drawn to play, to portray something unexpected, bright. In school amateur performances, he was always entrusted with the main, responsible roles. Parents, who themselves loved the theater, art, music, always supported their son's passion. And then they continued to help him, were the first advisers. So the appearance on the stage of Rostislav Yankovsky, perhaps, was prepared by his whole life.

In Leninabad, already married and working as a car depot dispatcher, Rostislav Yankovsky continued to receive Active participation in amateur performances of the Palace of Culture. It was there that the talented young man was noticed by the head of the local theater Dmitry Mikhailovich Likhovetsky and immediately offered to work in the theater.

At first, Rostislav Yankovsky studied at the studio at the theater and was busy in performances. At first, of course, there were several small episodes, then - Korneichuk's play "Makar Dubrava", and after that Peter played in Gorky's "Last".

Having moved to Minsk in 1957 with his wife Nina and son Igor, Rostislav Yankovsky was accepted into the troupe of the Russian Drama Theater named after M. Gorky and already in his youth he became a stage star. Here his most famous classical roles were played: Macbeth, Arbenin, Antony, Vershinin.

More than once, the famous actor of the Belarusian stage was lured to the best theaters in Moscow and Leningrad, but every time he refused: “Probably, no country can accept and love me the way Belarus has accepted and loved me. In Minsk, the Lord helped me, the fate of the actor was good, I played many roles. I love this theater, and he loves me!” Rostislav Yankovsky is a knight of the Minsk theater! And being the permanent president of the Listapad International Film Festival, Rostislav Ivanovich has never canceled a single performance with his participation, even on the opening day of the film forum!

For Rostislav Ivanovich, the assessment of his no less famous younger brother Oleg Yankovsky has always been very important. And when, at the Vakhtangov Theater, Yankovsky, the elder, had a chance to play in Hauptmann's play Before Sunset, the role with which Astangov himself shone in the old days, he was very worried. But Yankovsky, the youngest, highly, although a little briefly, appreciated his game: “You don’t play anything. You live the role from start to finish.

The debut of Rostislav Yankovsky in the cinema took place at the film studio "Belarusfilm" in the historical and revolutionary adventure film "Red Leaves". Director Vladimir Korsh-Sablin invited the then rising star of the Minsk theater stage to play the role of one of the young rebels along with famous actors: Mikhail Zharov, Klara Luchko, Yevgeny Karnaukhov, Vladimir Chobur, Vladimir Dedyushko.

Rostislav Yankovsky began to comprehend the real cinematic life from the role of a serious-minded Red Army soldier Vasilchikov in a film about civil war"Two comrades were serving" Evgeny Karelov. In this film, the Jankowski brothers starred together for the first time. The younger Oleg Yankovsky played the role of the former photographer - soldier Andrei Nekrasov in the film. Then, however, cinematic fate brought them together more than once on the same set.

In the historical and biographical film "I, Francysk Skaryna..." directed by Boris Stepanov, the Yankovsky brothers created romantic images of other brothers who lived in the first half of the 16th century. Rostislav brilliantly played Ivan Skaryna, and Oleg looked just as successful as the Belarusian publisher and educator Francysk Skaryna.

70s - 80s - the heyday of the work of Rostislav Yankovsky. Possessing innate aristocracy and charm (which, in fact, is inherent in all Yankovskys), the actor created a whole gallery of memorable images. The ability of the actor to easily fit into a variety of artistic worlds allowed him to be in demand by a variety of directors in films of various genres.

Among his heroes: Aguirre in Veniamin Dorman's adventure film "Earth, on demand", editor Semyon Petrovich in Joseph Shulman's drama "Meeting at the End of Winter", Colonel Anton Georgievich Belov in Boris Shadursky's detective "Problem with Three Unknowns", Professor Flyagin in the film Ivan Kiasashvili "Pulpit", Master of the constellation in "The Tale of the Star Boy" by Leonid Nechaev, war invalid, book lover Mikhail Mikhailovich in Nikolai Lukyanov's children's comedy "Don't forget to turn off the TV ...".

Yankovsky also looked organically in paintings on military subjects (the chief of staff of the partisan detachment in the war film by Boris Stepanov " Wolf Pack"and the strong-willed smart Major General Smirnov in the Battle of Moscow by Yuri Ozerov), and in the film adaptations of the works of Russian classics (Vyacheslav Krishtofovich's drama" Big Volodya, Little Volodya ", created based on the stories of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, or one of the best adaptations of Dostoevsky - drama by Evgeny Markovsky "Eternal Husband").

Among the most notable paintings with the participation of Rostislav Yankovsky in the early 90s are: the tragicomedy of Vyacheslav Krishtofovich "Adam's Rib" (where the actor created the image of a successful lawyer Viktor Vitalievich) and an ironic fantasy from the backstage life of theatrical bohemia based on the plays by Durenmatt and Anuy "Sin of acting". AT latest actor shines with a stormy play of colors in leading role in partnership with the gorgeous Anastasia Malankina.

Yankovsky did not just play roles, he truly "lived on the screen." This talent of the actor was clearly manifested in the melodrama "A Sunny Day at the End of Summer", which tells about an unexpected and inappropriate feeling that arose between two already quite mature people, each living their own lives, and in the movie parable "Anomaly", based on the story by Clifford Simak " All living things are grass.

Rostislav Yankovsky also starred in two films of Yevgeny Matveev's famous film trilogy “Love in Russian - 2”, playing the role of Yaroshevich, a vain man in pursuit of benefits and a career. As Rostislav Ivanovich himself admitted, he simply could not deny himself the pleasure of acting next to such masters of Russian cinema as Evgeny Matveev, Galina Polskikh, Larisa Udovichenko, Viktor Rakov.

AT last years Rostislav Ivanovich infrequently, but still appears on the screen, delighting fans of his talent with his new works. One of these roles is the Polish farmer Wojciech Bielski in the war film "In June 41".

Igor Yankovsky: personal life

In the summer, while relaxing in Sochi, once Igor met the German beauty Evelyn Motl, who came to rest after graduating from the University of Berlin. A year later they got married. His wife gave him a daughter, Anna-Maria, and a son, Denis.

Previously, the entire Yankovsky family always gathered for Christmas. Then, when Igor Yankovsky married a German woman whose parents lived in Germany near Berlin, they began to like to go there with their family on Catholic Christmas on December 24, until the wife's parents died. Now Igor continues the tradition and arranges such a family holiday in Moscow. Very often this happened at the dacha, which was located next to the dacha of Oleg Yankovsky. There they talked and arranged fireworks.

Parents

Igor's grandfather was a hereditary nobleman - a former staff captain of the Semenovsky regiment. Igor's father, Rostislav Yankovsky, is a famous People's Artist of the USSR, who died in June 2016. Igor and Oleg often visited him in Minsk. Igor's mother was a Georgian, record holder in athletics and a teacher by education, whose name was Nina Davidovna Cheishvili. The national dishes that she cooked were adored by everyone, they could not be compared with anything. Nina gave birth to her husband two sons - Igor and Vladimir. All of them also became actors, and so a whole dynasty of Jankowski gradually formed.

Son

Igor's son, Denis, tarnished the reputation of the Yankovsky family, who in 2010 was sentenced to four years probation by a Moscow court. The reason was drug trafficking. In particular, about three grams of marijuana were confiscated from him. He was detained in an apartment on Presnensky Val, where he tried to sell two bags of a potion. The guy admitted that infrequently, but used drugs. He admitted his guilt and was very sorry for what had happened. Denis's father was shocked when he found out about what had happened, he could never even think of such a thing, because he had never even seen his son with a cigarette in his hands. And claims that he was foolish.
