INTERPRETATION OF THE MORNING PRAYERS

Trisagion

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.
(Read three times, with the sign of the cross and a bow from the waist.)

Strong- strong; Immortal- undying, eternal.
We read this prayer three times in honor of the three Persons of the Holy Trinity. This prayer is called the Trisagion, or the Angelic Song. Christians began to use this prayer after the year 400, when a strong earthquake in Constantinople destroyed houses and villages, and the people, together with Emperor Theodosius II, turned to God with a prayer. During the prayer service, one pious youth, in full view of everyone, was raised by an invisible force to heaven, and then, unharmed, was again lowered to the ground. He said that he heard the singing of angels in heaven: Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal. The moved people, repeating this prayer, added: have mercy on us, and the earthquake stopped. In this prayer, we call God the first Person of the Holy Trinity - God the Father; Strong - God the Son, because He is as omnipotent as God the Father, although according to humanity He suffered and died; Immortal - the Holy Spirit, because He is not only eternal Himself, like the Father and the Son, but also gives life to all creatures and immortal life to people. Since in this prayer the word saint repeated three times, then it is called the Trisagion.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and forever and ever. Amen.

Glory- praise; now- now; ever- always; till the end of time forever, or forever.
In this prayer, we do not ask God for anything, we only glorify Him, who has appeared to people in three Persons: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, to whom now and forever belongs the same honor of glorification.

Translation: Praise be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now, always and forever. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; Lord, forgive our iniquities; Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Your name's sake.

Holy- in the highest degree saint; trinity- Trinity, three Persons of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; sins and iniquities- our deeds, contrary to the will of God; visit- come; heal- heal; infirmities- weaknesses, sins; for your name- to glorify your name.

This prayer is pleading. In it, we first turn to all three Persons together, and then to each Person of the Trinity separately: to God the Father, so that He cleanses our sins; to God the Son, that He may forgive our iniquities; to God the Holy Spirit to visit and heal our infirmities. The words for your name refer again to all three Persons of the Holy Trinity together, and since God is one, then His name is one, and therefore we say "Thy name", but not "Thy Names".

Translation: Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord (Father), forgive us our sins; Lord (Son of God), forgive our iniquities; Holy (Spirit), visit us and heal our diseases, for the glorification of Your name.

Lord have mercy. (Three times)

have mercy- be merciful, I'm sorry.
This is the oldest and common prayer for all Christians. We say it when we remember our sins. To the glory of the Holy Trinity, we say this prayer three times. Twelve times we say this prayer, asking God for a blessing for every hour of the day and night. Forty times - for the consecration of our whole life.

Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven! Yes, shine your name may your kingdom come, may your will be done, as in heaven and on earth. Give us our daily bread today; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Father- Father; Izhe- Which the; Thou art in heaven- Which is in heaven, or heavenly; Yes- let; sanctified- glorified; like- how; in heaven- in the sky; urgent- necessary for existence; give me- give; today- today, today; leave- sorry; debts- sins; our debtor- those people who have sinned against us; temptation- temptation, danger of falling into sin; crafty- all cunning and evil, that is, the devil. The devil is an evil spirit.

This prayer is called the Lord's, because the Lord Jesus Christ Himself gave it to His disciples when they asked Him to teach them how to pray. Therefore, this prayer is the most important prayer for everyone.

Our Father, Who art in heaven! With these words, we turn to God and, calling Him the Heavenly Father, we call to listen to our requests or petitions. When we say that He is in heaven, we must understand the spiritual, invisible sky, and not that visible blue vault that is spread over us and which we call heaven. May your name be hallowed- that is, help us to live righteously, holyly and glorify Your name with our holy deeds. Let Your Kingdom Come- that is, make us worthy here, on earth, of Your Kingdom of Heaven, which is truth, love and peace; reign in us and rule over us. May Thy will be done, as in heaven and on earth- that is, let everything not be as we want, but as You please, and help us to obey this Your will and fulfill it on earth as unquestioningly and without grumbling, as it is fulfilled, with love and joy, by the holy angels in heaven . Because only You know what is useful and necessary for us, and You wish us well more than we ourselves. Give us our daily bread today- that is, give us for this day, for today, our daily bread. Bread here means everything necessary for our life on earth: food, clothing, housing, but most importantly, the Most Pure Body and Precious Blood in the sacrament of Holy Communion, without which there is no salvation in eternal life. The Lord commanded us to ask ourselves not for wealth, not for luxury, but only for the most necessary things and to rely on God in everything, remembering that He, as a Father, always cares and takes care of us. And leave us our debts, just as we leave our debtors- that is, forgive us our sins just as we ourselves forgive those who offended or offended us. In this petition, our sins are called our debts, because the Lord gave us strength, abilities and everything else in order to do good deeds, and we often turn all this into sin and evil and become debtors to God. And if we ourselves do not sincerely forgive our debtors, that is, people who have sins against us, then God will not forgive us. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself told us about this. And lead us not into temptation- temptation is such a state when something or someone draws us to sin, tempts us to do something lawless or bad. We ask - do not allow us to be tempted, which we cannot bear, help us overcome temptations when they occur. But deliver us from the evil one- that is, deliver us from all evil in this world and from the culprit (chief) of evil - from the devil ( evil spirit), which is always ready to destroy us. Deliver us from this cunning, crafty power and its deceptions, which is nothing before You.

On the feast of "Pentecost" - on the 50th day after Easter - the prayers of the Holy Trinity have especially great power, although they will be heard on any other day. You can pray at home - in front of an icon or in front of a window - or in any Orthodox church.

About healing

This is the most popular prayer among Orthodox Christians, the words of which are addressed to the Holy Trinity. With its help, a person can ask for health or healing not only for himself, but also for other people. You can pray for children, wife / husband, relatives, friends or even strangers.

The text of the prayer is as follows:

“O most merciful God, Father, Son and Holy Soul, worshiped and glorified in the inseparable Trinity, look kindly on Your servant (name), obsessed with illness; forgive him all his sins; give him healing from the disease; return to him health and bodily strength; give him a long and prosperous life, your peaceful and exemplary blessings, so that he, together with us, brings grateful prayers to you, the All-Bountiful God and my Creator.

Most Holy Theotokos, by your all-powerful intercession, help me to beg Your Son, my God, for the healing of God's servant (name). All saints and angels of the Lord, pray to God for His sick servant (name). Amen. »

There is another version of the prayer for healing. It is shorter and more convenient for daily independent repetition:

“Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; Lord, forgive our iniquities; Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Your name's sake. Lord, have mercy (Three times). Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and forever, and forever and ever. Amen."

For loved ones

To ask for health and well-being for your loved ones, there is a special separate prayer. It can be read when native person got into trouble or just daily to protect him from possible troubles and problems:

“I beg you, God, Father, Son and Holy Soul, worshiped and glorified in the indivisible Trinity, protect me from all kinds of misfortune. And neither a fierce beast, nor a thief can defeat me. And neither the elements nor the dashing person will destroy me. And nothing, thanks to your efforts, will harm me. I am under your holy protection, under your protection, I receive the love of our Lord. So protect my neighbors, whom I loved, as Jesus commanded, protect from everything from which you protected me. May neither a fierce beast, nor a thief, nor the elements, nor any dashing person harm them. About this I pray to you, God, Father, Son and Holy Soul, worshiped and glorified in the indivisible Trinity. And everything will be the will of God. Amen".

For every need

The following prayer is considered universal. It is read “for every need”, that is, when a person has a need to change something in his life, but he can’t do it with his own efforts. In this case, you can turn to the Holy Trinity for help.

Prayer text:

“Most Holy Trinity of Heaven for centuries, have mercy on us sinners. Lord, cleanse our souls from sins and foul language, forgive us the iniquities that we have committed, and guide us with the light of God on the path of righteousness and sinlessness. We pray for Your forgiveness and mercy, O Thrice One Ruler and Ruler of our souls. Amen. »

There is a prayer to the Holy Trinity, which helps to improve financial situation. It is allowed to read it only when the believer urgently needs money for important needs, but for some reason it is impossible to earn it on his own. For example, due to illness or with a small child. It is considered a great sin to use such a prayer text for the purpose of enrichment without special need..

In order for the prayer for money to be effective, you need to read it on the feast of the Holy Trinity, and also perform the following steps:

  1. 1. On the eve of visiting the temple, you should go to the field and collect a bouquet of seven various plants. It doesn't have to be flowers.
  2. 2. The bouquet will need to be consecrated in the temple and held in your hands.
  3. 3. Defend the entire service with him, never sitting down.

After the end of the service, the bouquet will need to be taken home and read the following prayer over it:

“Most Holy Trinity, consubstantial Power, all the good Wine that we will reward You for everything, even if you rewarded us sinners and unworthy before, even when you were born, for everything, even if you reward us for all days, and you have prepared for all of us in the past coming!

It’s better, for a fraction of good deeds and generosity, thank You not just words, but more than deeds, keeping and fulfilling Your commandments: we, by our passions and evil habits, in our youth, are cast down sins and iniquities.

For this sake, as if unclean and defiled, not just before Your Trisagion face appear shamelessly, but below the name of Your Most Holy One, speak to us, otherwise You Yourself would deign, to our joy, to announce, as pure and righteous loving, and sinners repenting, merciful and kindly accept.

Look down, O Most Divine Trinity, from the height of Thy Holy Glory on us sinners, and accept our good will, instead of good deeds; and give us the spirit of true repentance, and having hated every sin, in purity and truth, we will live until the end of our days, doing Thy most holy will and glorifying Thy sweetest and most magnificent name with pure thoughts and good deeds. Amen".

The Holy Trinity

thanksgiving

Prayer of thanksgiving has two purposes. The first is to thank for the help provided, which the believer asked for during past prayers. The second is to simply say "thank you" for everything a person has: health, happiness, peace, tranquility.

The prayer of thanks goes like this:

“Omnipresent Lord, we thank You for Your deeds, for the love for your servants and the forgiveness of our worldly sins. We pray to You for all those who live now and those who have died for all time. Forgive us and reward us according to our merits, and give rest to our loved ones who have died in Your kingdom and forgive their lifetime sins. Bless us for life in the Orthodox faith and save us from the intrigues and machinations of the devil, do not let us condemn our neighbors and punish the infidels and apostates, whom envy and malice consume. Amen."

Chants and Prayers for Pentecost

This holiday is one of the most important among Orthodox believers. It contains two celebrations at once - to the glory of the Holy Trinity and the Holy Spirit. Celebration and worship begins on Parents' Saturday.

On Trinity, it is customary to decorate both the temple and your home with flowers, tree branches, and greenery. Often believers appear with bouquets of flowers and at the festive service.

In the church there are special prayers and chants that are sure to sound on the feast of the Holy Trinity. Some parts can be sung by believers (they are intended for public singing), thereby taking part in a joyful festive event and inviting grace to themselves. You can repeat the words after the priest or take a prayer book with a translation with you.

chants

Reading/singing both the original in Church Slavonic and the translation is considered correct. Each believer can choose the most convenient version for himself.

On a festive day, the troparion, kontakion, honorific and the glorification of the holiday will definitely sound.

Troparion of the feast, tone 8:

"Blessed art Thou, O Christ our God, even wise are the fishermen of the manifestations, sending down upon them the Holy Spirit, and by those catch the Universe, Lover of mankind, glory to Thee."

“You, Christ God, made simple fishermen wise when you sent them the Holy Spirit. The apostles taught the whole world. Glory to Thee for such love for people.”

Kontakion, same voice:

“When tongues of confluence descended, dividing the tongues of the Most High, whenever fiery tongues were distributed, the whole call was united, and according to we glorify the All-Holy Spirit.”

« When the Almighty came down and mixed languages, He separated the nations by this; when he distributed fiery tongues, He called everyone to unity, / and we glorify the All-Holy Spirit in accordance.

Honorer, voice 4:

“Rejoice, Queen, motherly glory: any kindly euphoric, eloquent one cannot establish ornate. You deserve to sing; but your mind wonders every Christmas of yours, understand. The same we glorify Thee in agreement.

“Rejoice, Queen, Glorious Mother-Virgo! For no easy-going, eloquent tongue can praise You with its eloquence, and no mind is able to comprehend your birth. Therefore we unanimously praise You. »

Magnification of the holiday:

“We magnify Thee, Life-Giver Christ, and we honor Thy All-Holy Spirit, Whom from the Father Thou hast sent as Thy Divine Disciple.”

kneeling

Vespers is served immediately after the Liturgy on the feast day. In the process, prayers are always read with kneeling.

Such prayer texts read on your knees. Thus, a person demonstrates that he is aware of his spiritual weakness, the baseness of his own sinful fall, humility. The one who prays expects saving grace and mercy from God.

There are three kneeling prayers in total. Additional texts are added to them.

First prayer

“Most pure, not defiled, without beginning, invisible, incomprehensible, unsearchable, indispensable, invincible, innumerable, not malice, Lord, having only immortality, living in unapproachable light: creating heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that was created on them, before asking, all petitions give, we pray to you, and we ask you, Lord, Lover of mankind, the Father of the Lord and God and our Savior Jesus Christ, for us for the sake of people, and for our salvation, descended from heaven, and incarnated from the Holy Spirit and Mary the Ever-Virgin, and the Most Glorious Mother of God: teaching words, then showing deeds, when you endure a saving passion, give us a signing by your humble, sinful, and unworthy servant of yours, bring prayers to you, on your knees and knees, about your sins, and about people's ignorance. Most Merciful and Humanitarian Himself, hear us, as soon as the day we call on Thee, rather on this fiftieth day, after the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ into heaven, and sitting at the right hand of You, God and the Father, sent down the Holy Spirit on His holy disciples and apostles, Izhe and sitting on one of them, and being filled with all His inexhaustible grace, and speaking with other tongues of Your greatness, and prophesying. Now hear us, praying to You, and remember us humble and condemned, and return the captivity of our souls, having mercy on us praying. Receive us who fall down before You, and cry out: we have sinned, commit us to You from the womb, from the womb of our mother, You are our God. But as if our days have disappeared in the vanity, we will be naked of Your help, we will be deprived of any answer, but daring for Your bounties, we call: do not remember the sins of our youth and ignorance, and cleanse us from our secrets, and do not reject us in time of old age, when our strengths become impoverished ours: do not leave us, before we even return to the earth, make it worthy to return to Thee, and treat us with goodness and grace. Measure our iniquities by Thy bounties, resist set an abyss of Thy bounties to the multitude of our sins. Look from the height of Your holy Lord, on Your coming people, and those who expect rich mercy from You. Visit us with Thy goodness, deliver us from the violence of the devil: confirm our life with Thy holy and sacred laws. Angel, assign a guardian faithfully to Your people, gather everyone in Your Kingdom. Grant forgiveness to those who trust in You: forgive them and us sins. Cleanse us by the action of Your Holy Spirit: destroy the machinations of the enemy even on us.

Complementary: “Blessed be the Lord, Lord Almighty, enlightening the day with the light of the sun, and clarifying the night with fiery dawns, granting us the length of the day, and draw near with the firstfruits of the night: hear our prayers, and all Your people, and forgive us all voluntary and involuntary sins. Accept our prayers in the evening, and send down the multitude of Thy mercy and Thy bounty upon Thy inheritance. Protect us with Thy holy angels, arm us with the weapon of Thy righteousness, protect us with Thy truth, guard us with Thy strength, deliver us from every circumstance, every slander that opposes. Give us the present evening, with the coming night, perfect, holy, peaceful, sinless, temptationless, dreamless, and all the days of our belly: through the prayers of the Holy Mother of God, and all the saints who have pleased You from the ages.

Second prayer

“Lord Jesus Christ our God, Thy peace is given by man, and the gift of the Most Holy Spirit, still in life and with us, as an inalienable heritage to the faithful, ever give: this grace is most manifest to Thy disciple and apostle today, and affirming these tongues with fiery tongues: the image of the whole human race is the knowledge of God with our tongue in the ear of the ear, we will be enlightened by the light of the Spirit, and the charms of the darkness will change, and the sensual and fiery language will be distributed, and by the supernatural action, we will learn faith in You, and theologising with Thee with the Father and the Holy Spirit, in one Divinity, and strength, and power let us light up. You are the Father's radiance, beings and natures of His unchanging and immovable mark, the source of wisdom: and grace: open my mouth to a sinner, and teach me how it is worthy, and for their need to pray: You know many of my sins, but Yours philanthropy will overcome these immeasurables. Behold, I stand before You with fear, into the abyss of Your mercy, the despair of my soul plunged: feed my belly with a word, rule all creation with ineffable wisdom, a quiet, overwhelmed haven, and tell me the way, I’ll go. Grant the Spirit of Thy wisdom with my thoughts, Grant the Spirit of reason to my madness, With the Spirit of Thy fear my autumn deeds, and renew the Right Spirit in my womb, and with the Spirit of the Master of my thoughts affirm the creeping of my thoughts: Yes, every day by Thy Good Spirit to the useful instruct, I will be able to do the commandments Yours, and Yours, is always to remember the glorious coming, and the tormenting deeds of us. And do not despise the perishable seduced by the red of this world, but wish to strengthen future perceptions of treasures. Thou didst say, Master: as if a fir tree, if anyone asks for Your name, unhinderedly receives from Your ever-present God and Father. The same and I am a sinner in the coming of Your Holy Spirit, I pray for Your goodness, I ask you, reward me for salvation. Her Lord, rich in all good deeds to the giver, and to the giver of the Good, as if You were the abundant giver of them, we ask: You are compassionate and merciful, Even being a sinless fellow of our flesh, and bending your knees to You, bow down lovingly, the cleansing of our sins. Grant, O Lord, to Your people Your bounty: hear us from Your holy heaven: sanctify us by the power of Your saving right hand: cover us with the roof of Your wings, but do not despise the works of Your hand. We sin against You alone, but we also serve You alone. Do not bow down to an alien god, stretch out your hands below, our Lord, to another god. Forgive us sins, and accept our kneeling prayers, extend a helping hand to all of us, accept the prayer of all as a pleasant censer, acceptable before Your blessed Kingdom.

Complementary : “Lord, Lord, deliver us from every arrow that flies in the days: Deliver us also from every thing in the transitory darkness. Receive the evening sacrifice of our uplifting hands. Vouchsafe us and the nightly field without blemish to pass inexperienced from the evil ones: And deliver us from all embarrassment and fear, even from the devil coming to us. Grant tenderness to our souls, and care for our thoughts, a hedgehog at Your terrible and righteous judgment of trial. Nail our flesh to Thy fear, and slay our beings on earth: Yes, and with sleepy silence we will be enlightened, with the sight of Thy judgments. Take away from us every unsimilar dream, and harmful lust. Raise us up at the time of prayer, established in the faith, and prospering in Your commandments.

Third prayer

“The ever-flowing, animal, and enlightening source, the co-creative force inherent in the Father, beautifully fulfilling all the care for human salvation, Christ our God, the bonds of death are inextricable, and the rivets of hell are torn apart, but there are many evil spirits right. Bringing Himself an immaculate slaughter about us, and giving a most pure body as a sacrifice, inviolable and impenetrable of all sin, and with this terrible, and inscrutable priesthood, granting us an eternal belly: descended into hell, and crushing eternal faiths, and showing the dawn to those sitting in darkness: the beginning of evil and catching the deep serpent with God-wise flattery, and binding the chains of darkness in tartar and inextinguishable fire, and in the outer darkness of your incalculable strength hardened by the fortress, the great Wisdom of the Father, the great helper appeared to the advancing, and enlightening those sitting in the darkness and the shadow of death. You are the eternal glory of the Lord, and the beloved Father of the Most High Son, the eternal Light from the eternal Light, the Sun of Truth, hear us praying to You, and rest the souls of Your servants, our father and brothers who have died before, and other relatives according to the flesh, and all of your own in faith, we are making a memory of them now, as in You is the power of all, and in Your hand you contain all the ends of the earth. Master of the Almighty, God the Father and Lord of Mercy, the mortal and immortal generation, and all human nature, the Creator, who composes it, and the packages of it that is resolved, the belly and the end, the hedgehog of sojourn, and the hedgehog there of change: measure the years of the living, and set the times of death : bring down to hell and raise up: bind in weakness, and let go in strength: build the present need, and manage the future usefully: rejoice with the mortal sting of the wounded resurrection with hopes. He himself is the Master of all, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth, and those who exist in the sea far away, Even on this last and great saving day of the Pentecost of the holiday, the mystery of the Holy and Consubstantial, and consubstantial, and inseparable, and unmerged Trinity showed us, and the influx and coming of Your Holy and Life-Giving Spirit, pouring out in the form of fiery tongues on Your holy apostles, and setting the heralds of those, pious of our faith, and showing confessors and preachers of true theology: even in hell, you were worthy to accept those held in hell, but give us great hopes of weakening the content from the filth that contains me, and send consolation to you. Hear us humble ones, and Your servant praying to You, and rest the souls of Your servants before the departed, in a brighter place, in a greener place, in a place of coolness: from there, all sickness, sorrow and sighing will flee and make their spirits in the villages of the righteous, and peace and weakening vouchsafe them: for it is not the dead who praise Thee, O Lord, but those who are in hell dare to bring Thee a confession: but while we are alive, we bless Thee and we pray, and we bring prayers of forgiveness and sacrifices to Thee for their souls.

Complementary : “Great and eternal God, Holy, philanthropic, vouchsafed us at this hour to stand before Thy impregnable glory, to the singing and praise of Thy miracles, cleanse the unworthy Thy servants, and grant grace to the contrite heart, uncomplainingly bring You the Trisagion of praise, and thanksgiving Thy great gifts, which thou hast made unto us, and always do in us. Remember, Lord, our weakness, and may not destroy us with our iniquities: but do great mercy with our humility, so that we have escaped sinful darkness, we will walk in the days of truth, and dressed in weapons of light, we will hatelessly stay away from every wiles of the evil one, and with boldness we will glorify all, to Thee the only true and humane God. Yours is truly and truly a great sacrament, the Lord of all, and the Creator, the temporary solution of Your creatures, and hedgehog copulation and rest forever: We confess grace to you about all, about our entrances, even into this world, and exodus, the hopes of the resurrection, and incorruptible lives, are premaritalized by Your unfalse promise, which we will receive in Your future second coming. Thou art and the resurrection of our Head, and the unwashed and philanthropic Judge who lived, and the vengeance of the Lord and Lord, Who also partakes us sincerely of flesh and blood, indulgence for the sake of the extreme: and our passions are imperceptible, always put the will into a test, we accept bounty for mercy, and in it you yourself suffered, being tempted, being tempted to us by being a self-promised helper: the same way you raised us into your impassibility. Therefore, accept, O Master, our supplications and prayers, and give rest to all fathers every time, and mothers, and children, and brethren, and only-begotten sisters, and all-begotten, and all the souls that have rested before: in the hope of the resurrection of eternal life, make their spirits, and names in the book animals, in the bowels of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the land of the living, in the Kingdom of Heaven, in paradise of sweetness, Your bright angels, introducing everything into Your holy abode, co-creating our bodies in the day, you determined the stench according to Your saints and unfalse promise. There is no death, O Lord, by Your servant death, coming to us from the body, and coming to You, our God, but the transition from the saddest to the most useful, and sweetest, and to repose and joy. And if we have sinned against You, be merciful to us and to those, for there is not a single one who is clean before You from filth, below if there is one day of his belly, are You exactly one, our sinless Lord Jesus Christ appeared on earth: In whom we all hope for mercy receive, and the remission of sins. For this sake, for us, it’s one, as God is Good and Humanitarian, weaken, leave, forgive our sins, voluntary and involuntary, even in knowledge and not in knowledge, presented and forgotten: even in deed, even in thought, even in words, even in all our lives and movements. And grant freedom and weakness to those who have departed, but bless us who are here, granting a good and peaceful end to us and all Your people, and open mercy and philanthropy to us, at Your terrible and terrible coming, and create Your kingdom worthy of us.

The second complementary: “God the Great and Most High, alone have immortality, in the living impregnable light, creating all creation with wisdom, dividing in the midst of light and in the midst of darkness: And the sun, therefore, putting in the region of the day, the moon and stars in the region of the night. Vouchsafed us sinners and on this present day to precede Your face in confession, and to bring Your evening service. Lover of mankind, Lord Himself, correct our prayer, as if it were incense before You, and accept me into the stench of fragrance. Grant us the present evening and the coming night of peace: clothe us with weapons of light, deliver us from the fear of the night, and from all things in the transitory darkness. And grant us a dream, even to the repose of our infirmity, you have granted, changed from every devilish dream. To her, the Lord of all the good giver, as if on our beds we will remember Thy most holy name in the night. And with the teaching of Your commandments, we illuminate, in the joy of our souls, we rise to the glorification of Your goodness, prayers and supplications to Your mercy, bringing about our sins, and about all Your people: even with the prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos, visit in mercy.

With the help of prayers, each person turns to the Lord with his requests and troubles. Prayers on the day of the Holy Trinity have a special power and can help those who suffer to find peace and inner harmony.

The celebration of the Holy Trinity is one of the 12 main church holidays, called the Twelfth. On this day, as on many others, it is customary to pray for the dead, so that they find peace in the afterlife, and also ask Higher Forces forgiveness for their deeds and guidance on the righteous path.

Bless, Lord, for a righteous life in mercy and goodness. Give us, O God, to live it in reverence for You and in the upbringing of children according to Your undeniable and only righteous precepts. Amen".

On Orthodox Epiphany Christmas Eve, Christians traditionally observe fasting and do not eat until the first star, they offer ...

Bad things happen in everyone's life. To get life back to normal...

If we consider what church holidays are the most significant in June, it is worth highlighting the Trinity. Another common name for the holiday is Pentecost, since exactly 50 days from the day of Easter expire on this day. Today you will learn about the features of prayer to the Holy Trinity.

Description and power of prayer

Many Christians do not fully think about the concept of the Holy Trinity, and therefore prayers seem to them not to be fully interpretable. In Orthodox theology, the Holy Trinity is presented as something that is not united, but not divided either, that is, not a single entity, but not three different creatures either.

Such an explanation, of course, is not entirely amenable to logical laws, however, there is a place to be. Many Christians compare the Holy Trinity with the sun: you won't be able to touch it, but you can feel the warmth, feel the light.

According to legend, the Holy Trinity appeared when people were being baptized in Jordanian waters. She represented Jesus, who expressed his desire to come down to earth. At the same time, the Lord from heaven declared Jesus to be the Son of God, and the dove was the Holy Spirit.

Prayers to the Holy Trinity

Prayer for the fulfillment of desire

Holy Trinity of Heaven for centuries, have mercy on us sinners. We pray for Your forgiveness and mercy, O Thrice One Ruler and Ruler of our souls. Amen.

We proclaim the true faith and pass from mouth to mouth words of gratitude for our lives in your goodness and mercy. We pray for everyone on earth who lives under Your gaze. Bless, Lord, for a righteous life in mercy and goodness. Give us, O God, to live it in reverence for You and in the upbringing of children according to Your undeniable and only righteous precepts. Amen.

Prayer for healing from diseases

The Most Holy Trinity, consubstantial Power, all the good Wine that we will reward You for everything, even if You rewarded us sinners and unworthy before, Than we were born into the world, for everything, even if You reward us for all days, and if You have prepared for all of us in the future !

Amen.
