Dark Age: reaper guide - strengths and weaknesses of the class. Dark Age: Reaper Guide - Strengths and Weaknesses of the Class Calculator Reaper Executioner in Dark Age

Hello RPG lovers. Want to terrify your opponents? If your answer is yes, then it's time to master one of the most dangerous melee classes.

I have prepared for you a guide to the Dark Age reaper, in which I will introduce you to this deadly type of warrior.

Class Features

Reapers are only available to Vesperians and Lycans, such a restriction already makes them a special class. As I mentioned above, melee attacks are common for them and there are even a number of advantages for successful combat.

On the positive side, I would include their high level of health, excellent defense and high damage, in addition, they still have the ability to attract enemies to themselves, and can also impose buffs on themselves and allies.

One of the features is the dependence of attack power on health points. If the level of life is higher than that of the enemy, then you can count on a lot of damage.

Depending on the buildup of the character, you can quickly deal with a single target, withstand multiple attacks of enemies, acting as a tank, or unleash all your power at the same time on a whole group of enemies.

You can develop your hero in three directions, which will open from level 20. Let's take a look at each of them in more detail.

Branch "Storm"

A very strong side of the reapers, if you go this route, then your advantage will be massive attacks, the ability to attract multiple targets at once, excellent control of opponents and increased chances of critical damage.

By pumping the hero along the “Storm” branch, you will be more proficient with the elements of air, and your abilities will help you both in battles with mobs and with real players.

In PvP, you can play a significant role, clearing the battlefield from mages and healers, and in PvE, you will be a good addition for tanks, scattering everyone who is in the strike zone.

Branch "Executioner"

If you swing the executioner, then the element of darkness will be the basis. Here you can count on superiority in one-on-one duels. This is probably where the name of the thread comes from. You will be able to execute almost any player.

To enhance the abilities of the executioner, you should carefully consider the things you wear. The best option would be things that increase health, critical damage chance and accuracy.

Branch "Guardian"

If the previous directions were good in attack, then the advantage of the guards is survivability. They have a lot of health, better defense and increased chances to dodge, as well as self-healing abilities.

Such a fighter will pass for a tank, and it will be very useful in campaigns in dungeons and on bosses. It is you who will go ahead of everyone, taking on most of the damage.

Conclusion

Undoubtedly, the reapers are very strong and in capable hands can cause a lot of problems to their opponents, but they have a lot of nuances, and in order to fully unleash their potential, you need to try them in battle.

Each new fight and experiments will make you a strong player, which means you will have many friends with whom you can play together in groups. A good reaper is not lying on the road, so choose your path and go ahead.

If you are interested in classes that are just as strong in attack, then I suggest reading more, which give out high damage at a distance, as well as, which are very strong in melee.

I say goodbye to you on this. Expect new content soon.

Reaper. Bloody Harvest Time!

Gloomy. Deadly. Relentless. That's what he is, a reaper. And don't get in his way...

This class in Dark Age prefers close combat. Therefore, two-handed scythes and heavy armor. Here's what he's equipped with. Killer set. But that is not all. The main feature of the reaper is that its damage directly depends on the level of its health. If this level is higher than that of the enemy, then the latter does not have long to suffer ... To make life easier for the player, there is a special panel in the Reaper interface, which is made in the form of a winged demon.

The color of the beast indicates the amount of health the character has. The spheres that the demon has in its paws light up when the opponent's health falls below a certain level. If you move the cursor over them, then the number of percentages remaining before receiving a bonus from using the ability is displayed.

The reaper has nine offensive skills, three passive skills, six blessings and two curses.

Attackers:

  • Blood of fire;
  • wind of death;
  • Dance of shadows;
  • Chopping swing;
  • nimble shadow;
  • The shadow of the executioner;
  • Wind Grip;
  • The shadow of the dead;
  • Furious wind.

Passive:

  • Moonlight night;
  • Blood of darkness;
  • Blood of the ancients.

Curses of the Reaper:

  • wind stubbornness;
  • Redemption by blood/

Blessings of the Reaper:

  • Furious heart;
  • Rapid blood;
  • Bloody war;
  • Champion's Will
  • Fist of the wind;
  • Bad blood.

Reaper development branch "Storm"

"A lot of them? All the better…"

In the Storm branch, the dumbest thing Reaper's enemies can do is surround him. The more enemies around, the more of them will fall. The strengths of this branch are strong AOE abilities, high crit rate, the ability to pull opponents towards you and, in general, a good level of control. This makes it especially useful in massive PvP fights. Although in PvE, he can also provide good support to the tank, staying close to it and, literally, mowing mobs.

For the Harvester of the Storm, the main abilities are those related to the element of Wind:

  • Provocation
  • Variability
  • Ruthlessness
  • nullity
  • whirlpool of blood
  • roaring wind
  • True roaring wind
  • spurt of wind
  • Fearlessness
  • dancing with the Wind
  • wind curse
  • Typhoon

Wind Reaper gear should maximize its damage output. As well as his pet (for example, the Winged Tiger, which increases the owner's attack by a certain percentage of his own +17 points). As they say, "DPS does not happen much." It's definitely about this thread.

Reaper development branch "Executioner"

"They said - to execute, then - to execute!"

Reaper Executioner in a one-on-one duel is able to crush almost anyone. High accuracy, decent health, increased effectiveness of single-target abilities, very high chance, and increased critical damage.

The executioner can be useful in almost any situation. Many especially appreciate it for its effectiveness in PvP. And this is logical. All of the above makes him a formidable opponent for any other class.

The executioner, for the greatest efficiency, should give preference to the element of Darkness:

  • Redemption by blood
  • Crying shadows
  • Slashing Sweep
  • Explosion of blood
  • wind stubbornness
  • The shadow of the executioner
  • Dead man's shadow
  • fast blood
  • Madness of Passion
  • Bad blood
  • Fierce Hatred
  • Shadow Dance
  • Furious Heart

Equipment for the Executioner should increase the level of his health, accuracy, as well as the chance and damage of crit. Of the pets, Sergeant Krots will do well for him, with his increase in health. In general, if everything is done correctly, in open duels against the Executioner, no one can resist.

A Quick Look at Reaper Talents

The Reaper's talent branches are very extensive and we will not consider them in detail, but it will not hurt to focus on a couple. Literally three from the two above branches.

For Storm...

The Roaring Wind talent is a must, which turns all single-target skills into AOE. Further, the talent "Whirlpool of Blood" attracts and stuns several opponents at once. And finally, Wind Pulse, which increases dodge rating and, as a result, provides a higher chance of keeping the Reaper's health level at a safe (and also dangerous for enemies) level.

And for the executioner...

The Acid Blood talent will be extremely useful, which reduces the enemy’s resistance to the main element of the Executioner - Darkness. Then - "Pride of Darkness". Everything is simple here. Increased Shadow damage. And the last in the top three we will have the Dark Soul Strike talent. At a high level of health (more than 80%), for the duration of the Quick Blood skill, the Reaper deals even more damage with Darkness.

Conclusion

In general, the Reaper class provides a huge range of roles to play both in team play and when playing alone. Plus a feature with the dependence of health and damage. All this makes the Reaper a very interesting and, potentially, extremely effective class. Good harvest!

Now, after a long time and a series of some changes, we can confidently talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the Reaper as a full-fledged character. We will talk about this and some of the conclusions that the community has made.

What is a reaper and how to play it?

Let's start with the fact that the choice of this class is available only for two races - Vesperians and Lycans. How has the practice shown? the more effective way of character development depends on which race you choose. The class itself provides the character with good protection, a unique pulling skill and high damage, in some swings and situations - just huge. Of the minuses, one can note a small supply of mana and strict restrictions on some stats. It means that you have to make difficult decisions, choosing one or another path of development. All weaknesses cannot be covered. In summary, when used correctly, the reaper in Dark Age is a killing machine. But without understanding the class - a whipping doll. It is impossible to play for him in the middle: you are either useless or very important.

Reaper's swing branches

It would not be very correct to describe the existing builds, since simply by copying the build, you will not yet learn how to play as a priest. So let's start with simple truths. In total, the priest has three branches of development - the Executioner, the Guardian and the Storm. The most useless of them, according to the gaming community, is the Guardian. Mostly because tanking in Dark Age is not so critical. In PvE, there are characters that are tankier and better, but in PvP they won’t pay much attention to you, since at first they will kill sweeter targets, for example, healers and control classes. Nevertheless, in the buildup of the guardian there is a large supply of hp, a bunch of resists from critical damage and other nasty things. But absorbing damage is, in general, all that the guard is capable of.

Executioner

The executioner is more interesting for the average player. Despite the fact that some consider this branch to be weaker in control, the executioner can still hold his target for a causal place literally permanently. The damage to a single target is huge. He really punishes.

An example can be given in this regard. Reaper Executioner of the Vesperian race can take 15% of the maximum health from a numb enemy with a blow from a bloodsucker. If you use buffs for hit points, and then madness, then a bloodsucker hit on the move kills 70% of the players on the Russian server. Of course, this has its own different nuances, and you won’t be able to run around to execute everyone at once.

Still, experience and understanding are needed, but there are such options. By the way, this is one of the main arguments in choosing the Vesperian race, if you decide to swing into an executioner. Another 10 seconds of anti-control will be very pleasant, during which you can do a lot of trouble to your opponents. As a result, the executioner turns out to be a very mobile, good control and good damage character. As for faith, the dark side will be more beneficial for the executioner. After all, at 70 energy, this is 2 seconds of complete immunity to control during the "Explosion of Blood". And a nice bonus to accuracy.

Storm

Mass dps, solo dd, high crit percentage, excellent control - it's all about the reaper in the storm branch. And to a large extent, not because he does not have enough lives, but because such goals are one of the first to focus. From here comes the next advice for future storms. It is important for priests and stormtroopers not to fall under assists and control, because he simply will not survive them. As a lycan, you can knock out a target with a night fog, and by turning to avoid control. Vesp never dreamed of such a thing.

For extreme sportsmen

Initially, many players looked towards the evasion build. After all, there are useful skills that enhance evasion, and native indicators are good in this regard. But when sharpening into a slope, you, firstly, need good and proper equipment, and secondly, a bright faith. But even then, you are too vulnerable. Survivability and health points drop a lot, and since a lot depends on your current health due to the mechanics of the class, even a crazy AoE can ruin your life.

Of course, there are a lot of fans of such bias builds in the light faith. But still it is not as effective as both presented above.

Conclusion

Priest from is a very strong and downright intimidating class in capable hands, but quite demanding in execution. Clicking three buttons and benefiting the team will not work, which means you need to try. Beginners, who often do not yet have a sufficient understanding of the game, are not advised to start for him.
