What is made from aloe at home. Aloe. Rules for the preparation of drugs from aloe. Aloe for nail fungus

As indoor medicinal plants, aloe arborescens and aloe vera are mainly grown. In folk medicine, aloe is called the "prickly healer" - the juice from the plant is used to treat a wide variety of diseases and to strengthen the body in general.

The leaves of the plant are used for treatment. For medicinal purposes, both aloe arborescens and aloe vera (aloe vera), it is recommended to use plants of three to five years of age.

Aloe leaves with a length of at least 15 cm are suitable as medicinal raw materials. As a rule, the largest lower leaves are used to prepare aloe juice.

Before cutting aloe leaves for juicing, it is recommended not to water the aloe for one to two weeks - this increases the concentration of active substances in the juice.

Both fresh aloe juice and juice from leaves pre-treated according to the biogenic stimulation method are used.

The doctrine of biogenic stimulation was developed by the ophthalmologist and surgeon Academician V.P. Filatov (1875-1956). Biogenic stimulants are biologically active substances that are formed in animal and plant organisms under the influence of adverse factors of the external and internal environment. Biogenic stimulants accumulate in isolated tissues. When introduced into the body, they stimulate the processes of growth, tissue regeneration, and other vital processes of the body.

The method of biogenic stimulation lies in the fact that the leaves are kept for 12 days in the dark, wrapped in dark paper - best of all in the refrigerator at a temperature of +6 "C - +8 degrees C. Under such unfavorable conditions, when all vital tissues begin to fade in isolated tissues processes, plant cells gather all their strength to survive, and biogenic stimulants are formed in them.

Juice from aloe leaves, processed in this way, becomes a stimulant for the cells of the diseased organ. It enhances metabolism in tissues, increases the body's resistance, promotes cell growth and regeneration.

Aloe juice contains aloin, organic acids - cinnamic, oxalic, aloetic, alorcinic, chrysamine, as well as resins, tannins, phytoncides, essential oils, vitamin C, carotene.

Aloe juice has a tonic, choleretic, laxative, anti-inflammatory, healing effect. Aloe juice and therapeutic mixtures with juice are recommended for various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis, enteritis, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.

Dosage Forms Juicing

To prepare aloe, cut off a few lower leaves of the plant, rinse with boiled water, cut into thin pieces and squeeze through gauze folded four times.

To prepare juice using the biogenic stimulation method, cut a few leaves of aloe, wrap each in dark paper and keep in the refrigerator at a temperature of +6 - +8 ° C for 12 days. Then grind and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth.

Preparation of tincture

To prepare the tincture, freshly cut aloe leaves pour 96% alcohol in a ratio of 1:1 (or vodka in a ratio of 1:2), leave for 2 weeks in a dark, cool place. Then squeeze through cheesecloth, strain and pour into a dark glass bottle. Store in refrigerator.

The only contraindication for the external use of aloe (in the form of rubbing, applications, masks) is individual intolerance.

Contraindications to the internal use of aloe preparations are acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, liver, gallbladder, acute inflammatory processes of the female genital organs, uterine bleeding, pregnancy, exacerbations of tuberculosis, hemorrhoids.

The composition of many healing mixtures with aloe (for example, tonic, mixtures for the treatment of tuberculosis) often includes honey. Such mixtures are not recommended for those who suffer from hypersensitivity to honey. Patients with diabetes should first consult with their doctor!

Before giving medicinal mixtures to children, check their individual tolerance.

Conduct a small test: give your child 1/4 teaspoon of the mixture and follow his reaction - if rashes, itching, runny nose appear within a few hours, then you should refuse to take therapeutic mixtures with honey.

For medicinal purposes, leaves and fresh juice are usually used, and it is recommended that the leaves be taken from a plant no younger than three years old.

Aloe juice is especially useful if it is obtained from leaves that have been pre-treated using the biogenic stimulation method. What do I need to do?

Before cutting the leaves, the plant is not watered for 2 weeks. Cut leaves are wrapped in a tube in black paper, so that there are through holes at the ends. They are placed in a cool and dark place, for example, on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, where the temperature is about 4-8 "C. The leaves are kept in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Under these conditions, all life processes begin to fade in the cut leaves, and then the cells of our plant gather all their strength in order to survive. Special substances are formed in them - the so-called "biogenic stimulants". Biogenic stimulants of a plant have the ability to stimulate the vital activity of not only their own cells. When treated with such vegetable juice, its substances become a stimulant for the cells of a diseased human organ. At the same time, the metabolism in tissues, the body's resistance increases, damaged areas of the skin and mucous membranes are quickly restored, inflammation is relieved, etc.

Getting juice

Juices of medicinal plants have the most natural effect on the body. When using fresh aloe juice, all its healing value is preserved, and if it is subjected to biostimulation, then these healing properties, as we already know, can be greatly enhanced.

Biostimulated leaves are taken out of the refrigerator, washed. Grind - you can in a meat grinder, pour water in a ratio of 1: 3 and leave in a dark, cool place for an hour and a half. The resulting juice is then squeezed and filtered.

Aloe juice is included as the main component in therapeutic mixtures that help with prolonged bronchitis, severe cough, pneumonia, tuberculosis, anemia (anemia), diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and other diseases. Fresh juice well helps with various skin lesions, skin inflammation (dermatitis), with their purulent complications.

Preparation of infusion of leaves

Infusions can be prepared in two ways - cold and hot. Most aloe recipes use the cold method. The leaves are crushed, placed in an enameled or glass bowl and poured with water at room temperature (a glass of water per 50 g of green raw materials), insisted for several hours (6-8). Then filter and pour into a dark glass container.

It is used to improve functional activity and in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and other diseases of internal organs. Use infusion and for rubbing. It acts on the principle of warming ointments such as "Finalgon", "Nurofen", causing a local rush of blood to the affected area.

Preparation of tincture

Tincture is the most powerful herbal dosage form. A tincture of fresh leaves is prepared as follows: crushed raw materials are poured with 70% ethyl alcohol or vodka in a ratio of 1:10. Close tightly and keep in a dark place at room temperature for 7 days. Then strain and pour into a dark glass bottle. The product thus obtained must be transparent.

The tincture is used to treat rheumatism, gout, lumbago (lumbago), sciatica (inflammation of the sciatic nerve) and other diseases.

Powder preparation

The powder is made from air-dried and crushed leaves. Dry raw materials are crushed with a porcelain or wooden pestle and sieved. This dosage form is recommended for liver diseases, such as hepatitis.

Emulsion preparation

In addition to fresh juice, infusion and powder from aloe leaves, they also use such a dosage form as an emulsion. To do this, the crushed leaves are infused in a dark room for 12 days in eucalyptus or castor oil at a temperature of 6-8 ° C. Used to prevent and treat skin lesions that occur with radiation sickness, anemia.

Contraindications

There are usually no side effects and complications with the external use of aloe. Of course, if you have very sensitive skin, then when you apply a cut of the sheet directly to the skin, you can feel a strong burning sensation, but you should not be afraid of this. A little patience, and the result will exceed your expectations. To reduce discomfort to the sore spot, it is recommended to apply fresh cottage cheese from time to time. With an increased tendency of the body to allergic reactions, one should still exercise caution, after consulting with doctors.

If you are going to use the juice of the plant for the treatment of internal diseases, all the more caution must be exercised. This is especially important if there is an acute or chronic disease of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, kidneys, gallbladder. For example, for the breakdown of anthraglycosides contained in the plant, the presence of bile in the intestine is necessary. Therefore, patients with diseases of the liver and gallbladder should definitely consult a doctor before starting treatment with home remedies made from aloe or ready-made preparations purchased at a pharmacy.

In almost every house on the windowsill you can find such an unpretentious plant as aloe. But few people know about the beneficial properties of the agave, thanks to which it is called the "healing plant". In addition to bactericidal, wound healing, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action, this plant has a "powerful" cosmetic effect.

Useful properties of aloe for facial skin

Aloe juice has an excellent soothing effect. It softens and smoothes the skin. People whose skin is prone to irritation, dryness, redness, are advised to use aloe for the face. At home, cosmetics are prepared that relieve irritation, remove red spots and reduce itching.

Agave juice contains a large vitamin and mineral reserve: silicon and copper, fluorine, vitamins A, B, C, E, iron and iodine, zinc. The juice contains such useful substances as lignins. They are able to penetrate deep into the skin and have a beneficial effect on it right from the inside. In addition, they contribute to skin renewal, activate the processes of healing and cell regeneration. Even age spots with a properly selected aloe juice-based product can be removed in a few weeks.

Indications and contraindications

Aloe is one of the few medicinal plants that have a minimal set of contraindications for use. It is undesirable to use the agave in the "critical" moments that occur in women every month. It is also not recommended to use aloe for pregnant women, nursing mothers and people suffering from cardiovascular diseases.

Very rarely there are cases of individual intolerance or allergies. But if you have even the slightest doubt, then do not use fresh aloe for your face. Test it on the skin of your hand. Let it soak. If no irritation, itching or redness has appeared, then it can be safely applied to the skin of the face.

Now for the testimony. Aloe for facial skin can be used by women suffering from problems such as acne and rashes, redness and chapping, peeling and oily sheen. Aloe is a universal helper. It nourishes and moisturizes dry skin, helps to dry out oily skin a little, and relieves fading skin of small unpleasant wrinkles.

By the way, aloe for the face at home can also be used to eliminate the effects of negative factors. This may be the effect of a solarium, direct sunlight, the effect of using bad, low-quality cosmetics. Aloe will help fight with a dull complexion.

Proper preparation of juice from aloe

As you know, it has healing and cosmetic properties. However, in order to get juice, you should properly prepare aloe leaves (for the face). At home, it should be noted, this is done much more carefully than in production. Therefore, homemade cosmetics with aloe juice are more effective and safer than store-bought ones.

Experts advise choosing leaves that grow on an adult plant. Aloe must be over three years old. It is recommended to stop watering the plant for a couple of days. After that, the largest, fleshy and juicy-looking leaves are selected. They need to be washed and dried. It is not recommended to squeeze the juice right away. Beauticians advise a little to hold the leaves in the refrigerator. Thus, the juice will be more viscous and saturated.

After resting in the refrigerator, the leaves can be crushed and the juice squeezed through cheesecloth. It is important that they are stored only for 2-3 days. Then you should prepare a new sheet for wringing.
