Principles of operation of haarp. Climate weapons of Russia and the USA American installations in Alaska

HAARP(High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) - a program of high-frequency active auroral research. This is an American research project to study the interaction of the ionosphere with powerful electromagnetic radiation. The project was launched back in 1997 near the village of Gakona near the river of the same name in Alaska. But due to the termination of funding after the completion of the contract or under pressure from the public due to a series of scandals, the project was closed and mothballed.

This expensive facility was operated by the US Air Force until August 2015, when ownership was transferred to the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. It was believed that all active work on it was stopped. On the university one, you can read that "the scientific instruments installed at the HAARP observatory can also be used for various ongoing studies that do not involve the use of RRI, but are strictly passive." In general, nothing interesting.

Suddenly, information appears on the network that the lead researcher of this project, Chris Fallen, will be conducting a series of externally funded experiments with HAARP from April 6 to April 14, 2018. He announced this on his own, and also invited all interested radio amateurs to join this project on his Twitter.

Chris Fallen also adds that now is not the ideal time to conduct such experiments due to the current period of the solar cycle. It's not dark enough in Gakone, Alaska right now to observe the ionospheric glow caused by HAARP radiation. But the customer, apparently, does not want to wait.

The main idea of the scientist was to attract as many radio amateurs as possible with their equipment. These enthusiasts around the world will monitor the signals transmitted by HAARP in the frequency ranges from 2.7 to 10 MHz, with various dynamic characteristics. Each participant will be able to “tweet” about their successes to Chris Fallen, and he himself will set the time for the broadcast sessions and coordinate all the work. In addition, there will be an opportunity to photograph the artificial "aurora borealis" created by HAARP.

It became interesting to me: after all, these are no longer “passive studies”, but the most active ones. The scientist sets the direction, frequency and shape of the signal, and the observers report on who managed to fix this signal, and all its parameters.

Note that HAARP signals were caught not only by radio amateurs in North America, but also in South America, Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Japan and Hawaii.

Even if Chris Fallen himself says: “This is a difficult question. Nobody says that the science of radio and space plasma is simple.” But, after analyzing the nature of the signals, their frequency and reports of radio amateurs about the reception of signals, we can draw some conclusions.

In military terms, "fire correction" is carried out with the fixation of "firing results" and the equipment is adjusted. In the course of the experiments, the frequencies, the configuration of the transmitted signals, the direction and duration of exposure (from 20 minutes to 2 hours) were selected. In addition, as far as I know, such alternating signals with a certain periodicity can cause resonant oscillations of the ionosphere. Still, it was not in vain that I graduated from the Radio Engineering Institute.

Our Earth is a spherical capacitor, in which one part is a conducting ionosphere, the second is the surface of the Earth, and between them a dielectric is atmospheric layers. The entire system is in dynamic equilibrium. If a wave process is induced in this spherical capacitor, then under the influence of solar radiation it can be enhanced by the superposition of waves. Under certain conditions, this will lead to self-generation due to pumping energy from the Sun. A rather powerful wave process will arise in the ionosphere, which will have a significant impact on the formation of the weather. In addition, the Earth's magnetic pole is shifted towards Canada and Alaska, and the magnetospheric strength lines converge there. This position can be called strategic. In this way, it is possible to influence the auroral fluxes of charged particles in the region of the North Pole, which are distributed along the Earth's magnetic field lines over vast distances.

I want to remind you that we are talking about the most powerful high-frequency generator in the world.

HAARP now operates 720 radio transmitters that provide power to 5 locomotive diesel generators. For one hour of operation of the station, the generators burn 600 gallons (about 2.27 tons) of fuel.

The power of HAARP, according to various sources, is estimated at 3.6–4.8 MW. And the highly directional transmitting antennas used by the system, like a phased array antenna, are able to focus all this huge energy in a narrow beam.

If an ultrahigh intensity of electromagnetic fields occurs in a limited area, this leads to additional ionization of the ionosphere. The so-called ionic lens is formed, through which the solar fluxes going to the Earth are amplified. They cause surface temperatures to rise, leading to drought, fires, and the like. In other cases, on the contrary, lenses are created that provoke heavy precipitation. According to the version, the impact of HAARP can lead to the initiation of an earthquake by influencing tension zones in the earth's crust at the junctions of plates.

It must be said that the created artificial plasmoids, with certain parameters of the pump radiation, are used as a huge mirror that reflects the radiation focused on it in a certain direction. Such mirrors, created at a considerable height above the Earth, make it possible to direct the reflected signal far beyond the line-of-sight horizon.

For reference, here are a few US patents that use similar technologies:

one. . Method and device for changing part of the earth's atmosphere, ionosphere and (or) magnetosphere.
2. . Creation of artificial ionized clouds over the Earth.
3. . Method and device for creating a plasma region by artificial electronic and cyclotron heating.
4. . Global tomography of the Earth using modulations of electron flows in the ionosphere.
5. . Radiant energy system.
6. . An artificial ionospheric mirror made of a plasma layer that can be tilted.

The organizational scheme, which can be called the new doctrine of the US Armed Forces, is also interesting. It consists of using private companies as "contractors" doing work for the government under contracts. And since contractors are private companies, they have the right to classify everything, including expenses, income, and any actions they take. This is justified by the fact that such activities are a trade secret, and if competitors find out about this, they will suffer financial losses. Thus, all government spending and actions are classified and not subject to control and oversight by the US Congress.

The activity of HAARP is also associated with the towed surface radar installation “Sea-Based X-Band Radar platform” (SBX), which can freely move in the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean under the cover of an aircraft carrier group (AUG). Its main radar weighing 1820 tons with an active phased array antenna (AFAR), operating in the X-band (8-12 GHz) and protected by a dome with a diameter of 31 m, can consume more than 1 megawatt of power.

Also associated with HAARP are four unmanned spacecraft "Multifunctional Magnetospheric Mission" (MMS) for the study of the ionosphere and magnetosphere, launched in 2015. Officially, they are collecting information about the nature of the so-called magnetic reattachment and all the processes that occur in astrophysical plasma. In working order, the installation, consisting of four automatic stations, must maintain the shape of a tetrahedron - a polyhedron, all of whose faces form regular triangles. In other words, an installation was launched into orbit using the principles of tetrahedral geometry, one of the functions of which is to receive and transfer practically inexhaustible amounts of energy.

The activities of scientists from the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska and ongoing work with HAARP are now practically not covered. What they do there, we do not know. Chris Fallen explains this by the lack of funding and the busyness of the scientists who work there. And they also allegedly do not want to publish the results of their work ahead of time, fearing competition in the scientific world. If it were not for the need for volunteers for his experiments, we would not have learned anything at all. There is an association with the "mad professor" from Hollywood films, working with a super-powerful secret installation capable of destroying the entire planet.

Or maybe the United States plans to use its climate change technologies in the near future?

In modern society, all information is immediately posted on the network, and you can see that people around the world fix unusual clouds, strange sounds in the atmosphere, unusual glows in the sky, etc. Maybe, of course, these are all coincidences, but very often we have recently heard information reports about abnormal weather and climatic cataclysms. Before an earthquake, eyewitnesses sometimes notice an unusual iridescent glow of clouds, but scientists explain everything by tension in the layers of the earth's crust. Perhaps they know better than this is caused, although ...

A book was published on this topic - “The HAARP Program”. Armageddon, by Nicholas Begich and Gene Manning. Our science fiction writer Vasily Golovachev has a work “The HAARP War”, in which he describes in detail the use of climate weapons.

In general, we do not relax, observe and share information.

Climate weapons are weapons of mass destruction, the main damaging factor of which is various natural or climatic phenomena created by artificial means.

Using natural phenomena and climate against the enemy is the eternal dream of the military. To send a hurricane on the adversary, destroy crops in an enemy country and thereby cause famine, cause heavy rains and destroy the entire enemy transport infrastructure - such opportunities could not but arouse interest among strategists. However, earlier humanity did not have the necessary knowledge and ability to influence the weather.

In our time, man has acquired unprecedented power: he split the atom, flew into space, reached the ocean floor. We have learned much more about the climate: now we know why droughts and floods occur, why it rains and blizzards, how hurricanes are born. But even now we are unable to confidently influence the global climate. This is a very complex system in which countless factors interact. Solar activity, processes occurring in the ionosphere, the Earth's magnetic field, oceans, anthropogenic factor - this is only a small part of the forces that can determine the planetary climate.

A bit about the history of climate weapons

Even without fully understanding all the mechanisms that form the climate, a person tries to control it. In the middle of the last century, the first experiments on climate change began. At first, people learned to artificially cause the formation of clouds and fog. Similar studies were carried out by many countries, including the USSR. A little later, they learned to cause artificial precipitation.

At first, such experiments had purely peaceful purposes: to cause rain or, conversely, to prevent hail from destroying crops. But soon the military began to master similar technologies.

During the Vietnamese conflict, the Americans carried out Operation Popeye, the purpose of which was to significantly increase the amount of rainfall over the part of Vietnam along which the "Ho Chi Minh trail" passed. The Americans sprayed some chemicals (dry ice and silver iodide) from aircraft, which caused a significant increase in rainfall. As a result, the roads were washed out, and communications of the partisans were disrupted. At the same time, it should be noted that the effect was quite short-lived, and the costs were huge.

Around the same time, American scientists were trying to learn how to manage hurricanes. For the southern states of the United States, hurricanes are a real disaster. However, in pursuit of such a seemingly noble goal, scientists also studied the possibility of sending a hurricane to the “wrong” countries. In this direction, the famous mathematician John von Neumann collaborated with the American military department.

In 1977, the UN adopted a convention that prohibited any use of the climate as a weapon. It was adopted at the initiative of the USSR, and the United States joined it.

Reality or fiction

Is a climate weapon even possible? Theoretically yes. But in order to influence the climate on a global scale, on territories of several thousand square kilometers, enormous resources are needed. And since we still do not fully understand the mechanisms of occurrence of weather phenomena, the result can be unpredictable.

Now climate control research is being conducted in several countries of the world, including Russia. We are talking about impacts on relatively small areas. It is forbidden to use the weather for military purposes.

If we talk about climate weapons, we cannot ignore two objects: the American HAARP complex, which is located in Alaska, and the Sura facility in Russia, not far from Nizhny Novgorod.

These two objects, according to some experts, are climate weapons that can change the weather on a global scale, affecting processes in the ionosphere. The HAARP complex is especially famous in this regard. Not a single article on this topic is complete without mentioning this installation. The Sura object is less known, but it is considered our answer to the HAARP complex.

In the early 90s of the last century, the construction of a huge facility began in Alaska. This is a 13-hectare site where the antennas are located. Officially, the object was built to study the ionosphere of our planet. It is there that the processes that have the greatest impact on the formation of the Earth's climate take place.

In addition to scientists, the US Navy and Air Force, as well as the famous DARPA (Department of Advanced Studies), are involved in the implementation of the project. But even considering all this, is HAARP an experimental climate weapon? Unlikely.

The fact is that the HAARP complex in Alaska is by no means new or unique. The construction of such complexes began in the 60s of the last century. They were built in the USSR, and in Europe, and in South America. It's just that HAARP is the largest complex of its kind, and the presence of the military adds to the intrigue.

In Russia, the Sura facility is engaged in similar work, which has a more modest size and is now not in the best condition. Nevertheless, Sura works and studies electromagnetism in the high layers of the atmosphere. There were several similar complexes on the territory of the former USSR.

There are legends around such objects. They say about the HAARP complex that it can change the weather, cause earthquakes, shoot down satellites and warheads, and control the minds of people. But there is no evidence for this. Not so long ago, American scientist Scott Stevens accused Russia of using climate weapons against the United States. According to Stevens, the Russian side, using a secret installation of the Sura type, operating on the principle of an electromagnetic generator, created the Katrina hurricane and sent it to the United States.

Conclusion

Today, climate weapons are a reality, but their use requires too large-scale resources. We do not yet know enough about the most complex processes of weather formation, and therefore it is problematic to control such weapons.

The use of climate weapons can result in a blow to the aggressor himself or to his allies, to damage neutral states. In any case, it will be impossible to predict the result.

In addition, regular meteorological observations are conducted in many countries, and the use of such weapons will cause serious weather anomalies that will definitely not go unnoticed. The reaction of the world community to such actions will not differ from the reaction to nuclear aggression.

Undoubtedly, relevant research and experiments are ongoing - but the creation of effective weapons is still very far away. If a climate weapon (in some form) exists today, its use is unlikely to be appropriate. So far, there is no serious evidence of the existence of such weapons.

If you have any questions - leave them in the comments below the article. We or our visitors will be happy to answer them.

Atmospheric weapons

Atmospheric weapons are based on the use of means of influencing the processes occurring in the gaseous shell of the Earth. It is divided into meteorological, climatic, ozone and magnetospheric.

The most studied and tested in practice are meteorological weapons, the use of which, unlike climate weapons, is much more local and short-term. The provoking of showers, the formation of floods and flooding of territories to impede the movement of troops and heavy equipment, the dispersion of clouds in the area of bombing to ensure aiming at point targets - these are typical uses of meteorological weapons. In order to disperse cloudiness, causing heavy rainfall and floods, it is enough to disperse about a hundred kilograms of silver iodide and lead iodide over an area of several thousand square kilometers. For a cumulus cloud in an unstable state - a few kilograms of silver iodide.

Another area of meteorological weapons is the change in the transparency of the atmosphere in a combat area. Bad weather is often used for a hidden concentration of forces or a sudden strike in another direction, unexpected for the enemy. For high-precision weapons, smoke, fog and precipitation are the main obstacle. Underestimation of the level of cloudiness led to the fact that during the operation "Desert Storm" (Persian Gulf 1990-1991), the effectiveness of laser-guided aerial bombs instead of the expected 90% was 41-60%. Instead of the "one target - one bomb" principle, 3-4 munitions were used per target. targets are maintained in poor visibility. Thus, the spraying of fogging agents may become one of the defense measures in the future.

The civilian use of meteorological weapons technologies is wide - from anti-hail service to "dispersal" of clouds during the Olympic Games and football matches.

Climate weapons are designed to disrupt weather processes on the territory of the enemy country. The result of its application can be a change in the temperature regime, the occurrence of hurricane winds, a change in the amount of precipitation and much, much more - over the past fifty years, various mechanisms of environmental impact have been developed, and the effect of their application is complex.

The purpose of the use of climate weapons will be to reduce the agricultural production of the enemy, the deterioration of the food supply to the population, the disruption of economic programs and, as a result, political and economic changes can be achieved without unleashing a traditional war. The climatic weapon will become the leader in the implementation of large-scale wars for fertile territories, which the futurists predict. In this case, the existence of the "golden billion" will be achieved due to massive losses in the population of large regions.

The development of various means of influencing the climate was most intensive during the Cold War, and the strategy of using climate weapons against the USSR was seriously considered by the United States in the 70s. The CIA report "The Potential Consequences of Trends in World Population, Food Production and Climate" of 1975 is indicative. The report said that man-made climate change in the USSR, China and a number of underdeveloped countries "will give the United States a degree of power that it has never enjoyed before." One of the peculiarities of climate weapons is that, all other things being equal, of the two countries that used them, the country with a lower climate and soil potential loses, which is probably why climate weapons were never used either against the USSR or against the USA.

Indochina became the first test site for climate weapons. Then, during the operation "Spinach" during the Vietnam War, the US tested a wide range of weapons that affect the environment. Characteristically, this operation was multi-stage, well-planned, carried out in the strictest secrecy, which has not been completely removed to this day. The first stage was characterized by the massive use of means of destruction of vegetation and damaging means of influencing animals and public health. At the second stage, the weather conditions changed - the US Air Force and the CIA, according to official data, in the period 1963-1972 in Indochina conducted 2658 operations to initiate precipitation. At the third stage, the lithosphere and hydrosphere were changed, large fires were initiated.

Climate weapon technologies are diverse, but the main ones are the creation of chemoacoustic waves, the change in the ionic composition of the atmosphere, the introduction of specific chemicals into the atmosphere and hydrosphere.

For example, reducing the amount of precipitation is achieved by applying substances to water surfaces that inhibit evaporation and the formation of cumulus clouds. In this regard, the European part of Russia and Ukraine are very sensitive, since a quarter of the heat coming here falls on a relatively small area in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean. The impact on the formation of cloud masses in the area or their dehydration can lead to a prolonged drought.

Spraying into the upper atmosphere of substances that will absorb sunlight (and thereby cause a decrease in the temperature of the Earth's surface) or absorb the heat radiated by the Earth (and cause the surface to heat up) will allow for a global change in temperature. A decrease in the average annual temperature by only 1 degree in the middle latitudes will be catastrophic, since the bulk of the grain is produced here. A drop of 4-5 degrees will lead to gradual glaciation of the entire surface of the ocean, with the exception of the equatorial region, and the dryness of the atmosphere will be so significant that there can be no question of any cultivation of cereals in non-glaciated territories. However, it is possible that in the future lowering the temperature of the atmosphere through the dispersion of chemical compounds will be used as a means of counteracting the greenhouse effect, such projects are being developed, although, of course, they cannot be a panacea.

Ozone weapons are a set of tools that destroy the ozone layer over selected areas of enemy territory. Hard ultraviolet radiation from the sun with a wavelength of about 3 microns penetrates through the formed ozone holes. The first result of the impact of these weapons will be a decrease in the productivity of animals and agricultural plants. Later, disruption of processes in the ozonosphere will lead to a decrease in the average temperature and an increase in humidity, which is extremely dangerous for regions of critical agriculture. The complete destruction of the ozone layer is fatal to all living things.

Magnetospheric (ionospheric) weapons

Magnetosphere

The existence of the earth's magnetic field is due to sources located in the globe and near-Earth space. Distinguish between the main (due to mechanical and electromagnetic processes in the outer layer of the Earth's core), anomalous (associated with the magnetization of the rocks of the earth's crust) and the external magnetic field of the earth (due to electric currents that exist in the near-Earth space and induced in the Earth's mantle). The earth's magnetic field is approximately uniform up to a distance of about three earth radii and is 7 A/m (0.70 Oe) at the Earth's magnetic poles and 33.4 A/m (0.42 Oe) at the magnetic equator. In circumplanetary space, the earth's magnetic field forms a magnetosphere, the physical properties of which are determined by the interaction of the magnetic field and the flow of charged particles of cosmic origin.

The Earth's magnetosphere on the day side extends up to 8-14 Earth radii, on the night side it is elongated, forming the Earth's magnetic tail of several hundred radii. In the magnetosphere there are radiation belts (also called Van Alen belts) - the inner regions of the magnetosphere, in which the planet's own magnetic field holds charged particles with high kinetic energy. In the radiation belts, particles under the influence of a magnetic field move along complex trajectories from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa. The Van Alen belts were discovered by the American satellite Explorer 1 in 1958. Initially, there were two Van Alen belts - the lower one, at an altitude of about 7 thousand km, the intensity of proton movement in which is 20 thousand particles with an energy of the order of 30 MeV per second per square centimeter, and the maximum energy for 1 MeV electrons is 100 million per second per square centimeter; the outer belt is located at an altitude of 51.5 thousand km, the average energy of its particles is about 1 MeV. The particle flux density in the belts depends on solar activity and the time of day.

The outer boundary of the magnetosphere and the upper boundary of the ionosphere, the regions of the atmosphere in which air ionization occurs under the influence of radiation, coincide. In addition, the ozone layer is part of the ionosphere. By influencing the ionosphere and magnetosphere, one can cause damage to manpower, disruption of radio communications, destruction of enemy equipment, changes in the wind rose and catastrophic weather events.

Story

In 1914, Nikola Tesla received a patent for an "Apparatus for transmitting electrical energy", which journalists dubbed "death rays". Tesla himself claimed that his invention could be used to destroy enemy aircraft. The invention of Nikolo Tesla was forgotten for exactly 80 years, until the construction of the HARP installation began in 1994.

The Argus project (1958) was carried out to study the effect of high-altitude nuclear explosions on radio signal transmission and the geomagnetic field. Between August and September 1958, the US Air Force carried out three atomic bomb explosions 480 km above the South Atlantic Ocean, in the region of the lower Van Alen belt. Later, two more hydrogen bombs were detonated 160 km above Johnston Island in the Pacific Ocean. The result of the explosions was unexpected - a new (internal) radiation belt emerged, covering almost the entire Earth. As part of the Argus project, it was planned to create a "telecommunications shield" to eliminate the impact of magnetic storms on telecommunications. This shield was supposed to be created in the ionosphere at an altitude of 3 thousand km and represent 350,000 million copper needles, each 2-4 cm long (with a total weight of 16 kg), which form a belt 10 km thick and 40 km wide, while the needles should have been placed at a distance of 100 m from each other. This plan was strongly criticized by the International Union of Astronomers and ultimately was not implemented.

Project Starfish (1962) changed the shape and intensity of the Van Alen belt. As part of this project, two explosions were carried out - one kiloton at an altitude of 60 km and one megaton - at an altitude of several hundred kilometers. The first explosion sounded on July 9, 1962, and already on July 19, NASA announced that a new high-altitude belt had formed, stretching from a height of 400 km to 1600 km, and it represents a continuation (stretching) of the lower Van Alen belt. This belt is much wider than the one created by Project Argus. A similar planetary experiment was conducted by the USSR in 1962, creating three new radiation belts between 7 and 13 thousand km above the surface. The electron flow in the lower Van Alen belt changed in 1962 and never returned to its original state.

"Solar Energy" - a project of satellite solar power plants was proposed to the US Congress in 1968. In geostationary orbit, at an altitude of 40 thousand km, it was proposed to place 60 satellites, which were supposed to use solar panels (the size of Manhattan Island), absorb solar radiation and transmit using microwave rays to a ground-based receiving antenna. The project was absolutely fantastic and economically impractical, but it was a development of Tesla's ideas - the same wireless power transmission, and arrays of receiving antennas, the area of \u200b\u200bwhich was estimated at about 145 square meters. km, and on the territory of which the residence of any people and animals was excluded, resemble the antenna fields of HARP and Sura, which will be discussed below. Satellite power plants were to be launched into orbit within 30 years, the cost of the project ranged from 500 to 800 thousand million dollars (in 1968 dollars), and were supposed to provide 10% of US energy needs. The cost of the project was 2 to 3 times the entire DOE budget, and the projected cost of electricity was close to that of most conventional energy sources.

The military role of satellite "power plants" began to be discussed only from 1978 (despite the fact that no one disputed the authorship of the Pentagon for this project). Satellite power plants were to be equipped with laser weapons and electron beam weapons designed to destroy enemy missiles. Directed not at the antenna, but at the target, the microwave beam was supposed to ignite combustible materials. Controlled microwave beams could ensure the conduct of hostilities in any area, regardless of the power supply. Satellite platforms were planned to be used to maintain communication with submarines and to create radio interference to the enemy.

In general, the military application of the Solar Energy project was seen by many as a universal weapon, among others - President Carter approved the project and went ahead with it, despite numerous critical reviews. The project of satellite power plants was rejected by the US Congress - because of the exorbitant cost.

A new stage of experiments with the ionosphere in 1975 - 1981 began due to an unfortunate accident - due to malfunctions at an altitude of about 300 km in 1975, the Saturn-5 rocket burned out. The rocket explosion created an "ionospheric hole": over an area with a radius of a thousand kilometers, the number of electrons decreased by more than 60%, all telecommunications were interrupted over the territory of the Atlantic Ocean, and an atmospheric glow at a wavelength of 6300A was observed. The resulting phenomenon was caused by a reaction between the gases formed during the explosion and ionospheric oxygen ions.

In 1981, the Space Shuttle, flying over a network of five surface observatories, injected gases from its orbital maneuvering system into the atmosphere. Thus, ionospheric holes were initiated over Millston (Connecticut), Arecibo (Puerto Rico), Robertal (Quebec), Quilein (Marshall Islands) and Hobart (Tasmania).

Enhanced use of shuttle orbital maneuvering (OSM) gases to disrupt local plasma concentrations began in 1985. So, the 47-second combustion of COM on July 29, 1985 created the largest and longest-lived ionospheric hole, and the 6-second drop of about 830 kg of exhaust gases into the ionosphere at sunrise at an altitude of 68 km over Connecticut in August 1985 created the northern lights , covering more than 400 thousand square meters. km.

From 1968 to the present day, 50 km from the city of Fairbanks, pcs. Alaska, the Poker Flat Research Center is under contract with NASA. In 1994 alone, 250 rocket launches were carried out here, stuffed with various chemicals, in order to "understand the chemical reactions in the atmosphere associated with global climate change." In 1980, Brian Vilans destroyed the northern lights during the Waterloo project, causing it to temporarily stop. In February 1983, two Black Brant-X rockets and two Nike Orion rockets were launched over Canada, which released barium at high altitudes and created artificial clouds. These clouds have been observed as far as Los Alamos in New Mexico.

A series of rockets were launched from Poker Flat "to study space weather" (in other words, the impact on the ionosphere), and to create luminous clouds. These clouds were visible on July 2-20, 1997. over a wide area. Trimethylaluminum was delivered to a height of 69 to 151 km and later dissipated in the upper atmosphere.

Chemoacoustic waves

In the upper atmosphere of the Earth, there are waves of large amplitude - of the order of tens and hundreds of kilometers, their interference forms a complex quasi-periodic structure, the spatial period of which can be much less. Presumably, they arise due to photodissociation reactions, which "rock" the acoustic-gravity waves in the atmosphere. Thus, as a result of the reversible cycle of formation of atomic oxygen, the atmosphere receives an energy of the order of the energy of an ultraviolet quantum. This cycle ensures the heating of the atmosphere at altitudes of about 100 km.

In the 1960s, non-equilibrium processes in plasma seemed to be able to provide the key to the implementation of controlled thermonuclear fusion; it turned out that sound, passing through a non-equilibrium medium, releases the energy contained in it. It soon became clear that it was practically impossible to conduct an experiment under laboratory conditions - an extremely high degree of deviation from the medium from equilibrium was necessary, in which the transition of a chemical reaction to an explosive regime is unacceptable. Certain layers of the earth's atmosphere ideally meet the conditions.

Chemoacoustic waves arise when sound in a gaseous medium reaches its maximum (nonlinear) amplification, and the nonequilibrium nature of the medium is provided directly by chemical reactions. The energy stored in natural chemoacoustic waves is enormous, at the same time it is quite easy to release it - with the help of chemical catalysts sprayed at a certain height. Another way is the excitation of internal gravitational waves in the ionosphere by ground-based heating stands. It is logical, of course, to be armed with both methods of influencing ionospheric instabilities - both radio heating stands and modules with chemical reagents launched with the help of rockets and stratospheric balloons.

Thus, the generated waves are transmitted to the underlying layers of the atmosphere, causing natural disasters - from hurricane winds to sharp local increases in air temperature.

Ground heating stands

A logical continuation of the US military research programs was the creation of the HARP program (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP)) - the Program for the study of high-frequency activity in the auroral region. In addition to HARP, there are six more similar ground stands in the world: in Tromso (Norway), in Jicamarca (Peru), "Sura" in Nizhny Novgorod and an installation in the city of Apatitu (Murmansk region) - in Russia; a radio antenna near Kharkov, and a radio antenna in Dushanbe (Tajikistan). Of these, only two, like HARP, are transmitting - the stand in Tromso and "Sura", the rest are passive, and are intended mainly for radio astronomy research. The qualitative difference between HARP is its incredible power, which today is 1 GW (planned - 3.6 GW) and proximity to the north magnetic pole.

HARP

In 1974, a number of experiments were carried out in electromagnetic transmission in Plattsville (Colorado), Arecibo (Puerto Rico) and Armidale (Australia, New South Wales). And already in the 80s, an employee of the Atlantic Richfield company, Bernard J. Eastlund, received a patent "Method and device for changing the layers of the earth's atmosphere, ionosphere and / or magnetosphere." It is on this patent that the HARP program, created jointly by the Air Force and the US Navy in 1993, is based. The antenna field and scientific base of the program are located near the city of Gakon in Alaska, and they entered into operation in 1998, however, the construction of the antenna array has not yet been completed.

The program is designed to "understand, simulate and control ionospheric processes that can affect communication and observation systems." The HARP system includes a beam of high-frequency radio energy of 3.6 GW (this power will be achieved upon completion of construction) directed into the ionosphere for:

Generation of extremely low-frequency waves for communication with underwater submarines
-- Carrying out geophysical tests in order to identify and characterize natural ionospheric processes, further development of technology for monitoring and controlling them
-- Creation of ionospheric lenses for focusing high-frequency energy, in order to study the trigger effects of ionospheric processes, which can potentially be used by the Department of Defense
-- Electronic amplification of infrared and other optical emissions that can be used to control radio waves for propaganda purposes.
-- Generation of a geomagnetic field of extended ionization and control of reflective / absorbed radio waves
-- Using oblique heat rays to influence radio wave propagation, which borders on potential military applications of ionospheric technologies.

All these are officially declared goals. However, the idea of the HARP project arose back in the days of Star Wars, then it was planned to create a "lattice" of highly heated plasma (which the ionosphere consists of) to destroy the missiles of the Soviet Union. And accommodation in Alaska is beneficial, because the shortest route to the United States lies through the North Pole. The creation of HARP coincided with Washington's statements about the need to "modernize" the 1972 ABM Treaty. The "modernization" ended with the US unilateral withdrawal from the Treaty on December 13, 2001 and an increase in HARP program allocations.

Another, not officially mentioned, scope of HARP is the amplification of acoustic-gravity waves (it is no coincidence that the Poker Flat center is located nearby, from which a rocket with a catalyst "braking" the ionospheric wave can be launched, and starting the process of "release" of energy).

The HARP antenna field is located at the coordinates 62.39o N.L. and, 145.15o W. and is a phased transmitter antenna designed to transmit radio signals at frequencies from 2.8 to 10 MHz. In the future, the antenna will cover 33 acres (approximately 134,000 square meters) and will comprise 180 individual antennas (placed in a 12 by 15 antenna rectangle). Each design consists of two pairs of intersecting dipole antennas, one for the "lower" frequency range (from 2.8 to 8.3 MHz), the other for the "upper" (from 7 to 10 MHz).

Each antenna is equipped with a thermocouple, and the entire array is fenced "to prevent possible damage by large animals." In total, 30 complex transmitters (transmitters) are supposed to be installed on the antenna field, each of which will contain 6 pairs of 10 kW smaller transmitters, and the total power of which will be 3.6 GW. The whole complex is supplied with electric energy by six generators of 2500 kW each. As the creators officially announced, the radio beam reaching the ionosphere will have a power of only 3 μW per square meter. cm.

Another heating stand - "EISCAT" in Tromso (Norway) is also located in the subpolar region, but less powerful than HARP and was created earlier.

"Sura"

The heating stand "Sura" was built in the late 70s and was put into operation in 1981. Initially, the Sura facility was funded by the Ministry of Defense, today funding is provided under the Federal Target Program "Integration" (project No. 199/2001). The Research Radiophysical Institute (NIRFI) has developed a project to create a Center for Collective Use of SURA (CCU SURA) for joint research of RAS institutes.

The scientific directions of research are the following:

Studies of turbulence at mesopause heights (75-90 km) and the relationship of this phenomenon with atmospheric processes.

Investigation of atmospheric parameters at altitudes of 55-120 km, as well as parameters and dynamics of the ionosphere at altitudes of 60-300 km by the method of resonant scattering on artificial periodic inhomogeneities.

Studies of dynamic processes in the upper atmosphere, including convective motions of the neutral gas component and the effect of wave disturbances on atmospheric processes using an artificially induced controlled source of acoustic-gravity waves.

Study of the patterns of generation of artificial turbulence and artificial electromagnetic radiation of ionospheric plasma in various ranges (HF, microwave, optical glow) when exposed to powerful radio waves; modeling of natural processes of excitation of turbulence and generation of electromagnetic radiation of the ionosphere during the intrusion of flows of energy particles into the Earth's atmosphere.

Observation of radio emission of long-range transionospheric propagation of radio waves in the decameter-decimeter range, development of methods and equipment for predicting and controlling the propagation of radio waves.

Radio complex "Sura" is located in Vasilsursk, Nizhny Novgorod region (57 N 46 E). It is based on three short-wave radio transmitters PKV-250 with a frequency range of 4-25 MHz and a power of 250 kW each (total - 0.8 MW) and a three-section receiving and transmitting antenna PPADD with a size of 300x300 square meters. m, with a frequency band of 4.3-9.5 MHz and a gain of 26dB at the middle frequency.

The main difference between the HARP and Sura installations is in power and location: HARP is located in the area of the northern lights, Sura is in the middle lane, the HARP power is already much higher than the Sura power today, however, today both installations are operated and placed in front of them the goals are identical: the study of the propagation of radio waves, the generation of acoustic-gravity waves, the creation of ionospheric lenses.

The US press accuses the Russians of using Sura to call and change the path of hurricanes, while Russian and Ukrainian officials send warning letters outright calling HARP a geophysical weapon. The discussion of the danger posed by HARP for the Russian Federation did not take place in the Duma, although it was planned.

There are several international treaties that limit the climatic and meteorological experiments of the participating countries, among them the most fully reflects the problem of the Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Other Hostile Influence on Nature (entered into force on October 5, 1978, validity is not limited). At the request of any party to the Convention (four states in total), an advisory committee of experts may be convened to consider a questionable natural phenomenon or technical design.

HAARP

HAARP (_en. High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program - high-frequency active auroral research program) - American research project for the study of auroras; according to other sources - geophysical or ionospheric weapons. The history of creation is associated with the name of Nikola Tesla. The project was launched in the spring of 1997, in Gakone, Alaska (lat. 62°.23" N, long 145°.8" W)

In August 2002, the State Duma of Russia discussed the possible consequences of launching this project.

Structure

Haarp includes antennas, an incoherent radiation radar with a twenty-meter diameter antenna, laser radars, magnetometers, computers for signal processing and antenna field control. The entire complex is powered by a powerful gas power plant and six diesel generators. The Philips Laboratory, located at the US Air Force Base in Cartland, New Mexico, is engaged in the deployment of the complex and research on it. The laboratories of astrophysics, geophysics and means of destruction of the Center for Space Technology of the US Air Force are subordinate to it.

Officially, the ionospheric research complex (HAARP) was built to study the nature of the ionosphere and develop air defense and missile defense systems. It is supposed to use HAARP (HAARP) for the detection of submarines and underground tomography of the bowels of the planet.

HAARP as a weapon source?

Some scientists and public figures and organizations express concern that HAARP can be used for destructive activities. For example, they claim that:
* HAARP can be used in such a way that sea and air navigation is completely disrupted in the selected area, radio communications and radar are blocked, on-board electronic equipment of spacecraft, missiles, aircraft and ground systems is disabled. In an arbitrarily delineated area, the use of all types of weapons and equipment may be stopped. Integral systems of geophysical weapons can cause large-scale accidents in any electrical networks, on oil and gas pipelines US Geophysical Weapon - HAARP] .] .

* HAARP radiation energy can be used to manipulate the weather on a global scale ["Grazyna Fosar" and "Franz Bludorf" [http://www.fosar-bludorf.com/archiv/schum_eng.htm Transition to the age of frequencies] : in one of the patents that was used to develop the HAARP antennas is clear about the possibility of manipulating the weather.] , to damage the ecosystem or completely destroy it.
* HAARP can be used as a psychotronic weapon.
** Use directional death ray technology that can destroy any targets at vast distances.
** Directing with great precision an invisible beam on individuals, causing cancer and other deadly diseases - and in such a way that the victim will not even be aware of the destructive effect.
** Put entire communities to sleep, or get residents so emotionally aroused that they resort to violence against each other.
** To beam a radio broadcast directly into people's brains, so that they think they hear the voice of God, or whoever the presenter of this radio broadcast claims to be.

Defenders of the HAARP project put forward the following counterarguments:
* The amount of energy emitted by the complex is negligible compared to the energy received by the ionosphere from solar radiation and lightning discharges
* Disturbances in the ionosphere, introduced by the radiation of the complex, disappear rather quickly; Experiments carried out at the Arecibo observatory have shown that the return of a section of the ionosphere to its original state occurs in the same time during which it was heated.
* There are no serious scientific justifications for such possibilities of using HAARP as the destruction of all types of weapons, electricity networks, pipelines, global weather manipulation, mass psychotropic effects, etc.

Similar scientific projects

The HAARP system is not unique. There are 2 stations in the USA - one in Puerto Rico (near the Arecibo observatory), the second, known as HIPAS, in Alaska near the city of Fairbanks. Both of these stations have active and passive instruments similar to HAARP.

Europe also has 2 world-class ionospheric research complexes, both located in Norway: the more powerful EISCAT (European Incoherent Scatter Radar site) is located near the city of Tromsø, the less powerful SPEAR (Space Plasma Exploration by Active Radar) is on the Svalbard archipelago. The same complexes are located:
# in Jicamarca (Peru);
# in Vasilsursk (“SURA”), in the city of Apatity (Russia);
# near Kharkov (Ukraine);
# in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

The primary purpose of all these systems is to study the ionosphere, and most of them have the ability to stimulate small, localized regions of the ionosphere. HAARP also has such capabilities. But HAARP differs from these complexes in an unusual combination of research tools, which allows radiation control, wide frequency coverage nobr|etc.

Radiation power

# HAARP (Alaska) - up to 3600 kW
# EISCAT (Norway, Tromsø) - 1200 kW
# SPEAR (Norway, Longyearbyen) - 288 kW

Unlike broadcast stations, many of which have 1000kW transmitters but weakly directional antennas, HAARP-type systems use highly directional phased array transmitting antennas capable of focusing all of the radiated energy into a small area of space.

Experiments with the ionosphere.
Irreversible processes have begun.

“Several years have passed since the impact of giant waves on the coast of Indonesia, Thailand, Somalia, Sri Lanka and the island of Sumatra (December 2004). The tsunami claimed the lives of more than 400 thousand people. After this revelry of the elements, the earth's axis shifted somewhat. Scientists continue to argue whether it was a tsunami or whether all this is a test of some secret superweapon?

Controlled plasmoid

“After analyzing the situation with the participation of specialists in secret geophysical weapons,” an independent military expert, Ph.D., told Arguments of the Week. n. Yuri Bobylov, - we came to unexpected conclusions. Everything that happened in December 2004 in the Indian Ocean is the result of local tests of the US radio-physical and geographic superweapon under the HAARP program (Program of active high-frequency research of the auroral region). Our program is called HARP for short. Bobylov, an independent military expert (more than 16 years of work in the secret defense research institutes and design bureaus of the former USSR), is sure that there was no tsunami in the Indian Ocean.

A distinctive feature of the new weapon is the use of the near-Earth environment as an integral element and an object of destructive action. HARP allows you to block radio communications, disable the on-board electronic equipment of aircraft, rockets, space satellites, cause accidents in electrical networks, oil and gas pipelines, and also negatively affect the mental state of people. Military expert Bobylov writes about this in his book Genetic Bomb. Secret Bioterrorism Scenarios. - In my book, - continues Yuri Alexandrovich, - I consider an extremely pessimistic scenario of an unfolding secret radiophysical and biological war, as a result of which the population of the Earth by 2025 may be reduced to 1-1.5 billion people.

But what is this very HARP? Let's go back to the beginning of the last century. In 1905, the brilliant Austrian scientist Nikolai Tesla invented a method for transmitting electricity through the natural environment at almost any distance. Then, already by other scientists, it was repeatedly refined, and as a result, the so-called "death ray" was obtained. More precisely, a fundamentally new power transmission system, with the ability to focus it anywhere in the world. The essence of the developed military technology is as follows: above the ozone layer is the ionosphere, a gaseous layer enriched with electrical particles called ions.

This ionosphere can be heated by powerful HARP antennas, after which artificial ion clouds can be created, which are close in shape to optical lenses. These lenses can be used to reflect low frequency waves and to generate energy "death rays" focused at a given geographic location. A special station was built in Alaska under the HARP program in 1995. On an area of 15 hectares, 48 antennas with a height of 24 m each were erected. With their help, a concentrated beam of waves heats up a section of the ionosphere. As a result, a plasmoid is formed. And with the help of a controlled plasmoid, you can influence the weather - cause tropical downpours, wake up hurricanes, earthquakes, raise tsunamis.

Energy circuit

In early 2003, the Americans openly announced that they were testing a certain "gun" in Alaska. It is with this circumstance that many experts associate the subsequent natural disasters in Southern and Central Europe, Russia, and the Indian Ocean. The developers of the HARP project warned that as a result of the ongoing experiment, a side effect is possible due to the fact that an immense amount of energy with gigantic power will be thrown into the outer spheres of the Earth. High-frequency emitters built under the HARP program already exist in three places on the planet: in Norway (Tromso town), Alaska (Gakhon military base) and Greenland. After the Greenland emitter was put into operation, the geophysical weapon created a kind of closed energy circuit. “Given the growth of the military threat from the United States,” Yuri Bobylov continues his story, “the State Duma of the Russian Federation in 2002 made an attempt to analyze the situation with the involvement of experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Ministry of Defense. But the representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the State Duma, Alexander Kotenkov, demanded that the issue be removed so as not to cause panic among the Russian population. The question was removed.

very strange tsunamis

In 2002, the First Deputy Commander of the Russian Space Forces, General Vladimir Popovkin, in his letter to the State Duma, pointed out that "inaccurate handling of the upper layer of the atmosphere can lead to catastrophic consequences of a planetary nature." He was supported by Valery Stasenko, a specialist in active influences in the atmosphere of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring: “Disturbances in the ionosphere and magnetosphere affect the climate. By influencing them artificially with the help of powerful installations, it is possible to change the weather, including globally.”

The result of the debate was a letter to the UN demanding the creation of an international commission to investigate experiments conducted with the Earth's ionosphere and magnetosphere. The head of the Japanese Center for the Study of Storms, Hiroko Tino, sees many strange things in the December 2004 events in the Indian Ocean. The fact is that the disaster occurred exactly one year and one hour after the earthquake in Iran on December 26, 2003, which claimed the lives of 41 thousand people. It was some kind of sign. Then the elements came to Europe: dozens of hurricanes, storms and rains were brought with them by Cyclone Erwin, which swept on January 7-10, 2005 from Dublin to St. Petersburg. Later, natural disasters came to the United States: floods in Utah, unprecedented snowfalls in Colorado. The reasons for this are that the earth tremors that caused the tsunami changed the tilt of the earth's axis and accelerated the rotation of the planet by three microseconds. Tino, like Yuri Bobylov, is inclined to assume that all the consequences in the form of natural disasters are the result of HARP's activities.

"Spinach" against the partisans

American specialists began their games with the weather a long time ago. Shortly after the end of World War II, research began in the United States to study processes in the atmosphere under the influence of external influences: Skyfire (lightning formation), Prime Argus (earthquake calling), Stormfury (hurricane and tsunami control). Nothing was reported about the results of this work anywhere. However, it is known that in 1961 it was in the United States that an experiment was carried out on throwing more than 350 thousand two-centimeter copper needles into the upper layers of the atmosphere, which dramatically changed the heat balance of the atmosphere. As a result, an earthquake occurred in Alaska, and part of the coast of Chile fell into the Pacific Ocean.

During the Vietnam War (1965-1973), the Americans used the dispersion of silver iodide in rain clouds. The operation was codenamed Project Popeye. Over five years £12 million was spent on cloud seeding to artificially induce heavy rains to destroy enemy crops. The so-called Ho Chi Minh trail was also washed out. Along this path, the South Vietnamese guerrillas were supplied with weapons and equipment. During Operation Spinach, the level of precipitation in the affected area increased by a third: the climate weapon worked successfully!

It was the United States that was the first to try to extinguish hurricanes (in the mid-60s). In 1962–1983 As part of the Furious Storm project, experiments were conducted in the United States to control hurricanes. The impetus for this was the data obtained by scientists that one hurricane contains as much energy as all the world's power plants combined. One of the successful experiments was carried out in 1969 off the coast of Haiti. Local residents saw a huge white cloud, from which huge rings diverged. Meteorologists showered the typhoon with silver iodide and managed to turn it away from Haiti. In recent years, research of a different kind has been carried out: tens of thousands of gallons of vegetable oil are poured into the sea. Scientists have suggested that hurricanes are gaining strength due to the heat generated on the surface of the sea. If you cover the surface of the sea with an extensive oil film, the strength of the hurricane will decrease due to the cooling of the water. So, in this way you can change the direction of the hurricane.

By 1977, Americans were spending $2.8 million a year on weather change research. Partly in response to Project Spinach, the United Nations passed a resolution in 1977 that prohibited any use of environmental modification technologies for hostile purposes. This led to the emergence of a corresponding treaty, ratified by the United States in 1978 (meaning the Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Other Hostile Use of Means of Influencing the Natural Environment). The United States believes that the USSR did not stand aside from experiments with the weather: “The Russians have their own weather control system, it is called the Woodpecker,” they wrote in the 80s. many American newspapers. - It is associated with the emission of low-frequency waves that can cause disturbances in the atmosphere and change the direction of jet air currents. For example, a long drought in California in the 80s was caused by the fact that the flow of moist air was blocked for many weeks.

Where did the Woodpecker come from?

Indeed, in the USSR they also experimented with climate. At the Institute of Thermal Processes (now the Keldysh Research Center) in the 70s they tried to influence the Earth's atmosphere through the magnetosphere. It was planned to launch a rocket with a plasma source with a power of up to one and a half megawatts from one of the submarines from the Arctic (but the launch did not take place). "Weather" experiments were also carried out by the 40th Institute of the Navy: at an abandoned training ground near Vyborg, installations for modeling the effect of an electromagnetic pulse on radio waves are rusting.

Typhoons no longer interest us?

The USSR, together with Cuba and Vietnam, began to study typhoons in the early 80s. And they were conducted around the most mysterious part - the "eye" of the typhoon. Serial Il-18 and An-12 aircraft converted into meteorological laboratories were involved. In these laboratories, electronic computers were installed to obtain information in real time. Scientists were looking for those "painful" points of the typhoon, by acting on which it would be possible to reduce or increase its power, destroy or change the trajectory with the help of special reagents that can cause or, conversely, prevent immediate precipitation. Even then, scientists found out that by dispersing these substances from an airplane into the “eye” of a typhoon, its rear or front parts, it is possible, by creating a difference in pressure and temperature, to make it walk “in a circle” or stand still. The only problem was that it was necessary to take into account many constantly changing factors every second. And it was necessary to have a huge amount of reagents. At the same time, a network of radar stations was created in Cuba and Vietnam, and interesting data were obtained, including on the structure of the typhoon, which made it possible to start modeling various methods of influence. Theoretical work was carried out related to the study of the possibility of influencing the cyclones of temperate latitudes and the weather in this region. But in the early 90s. work on active influence on the weather in Russia practically ceased to be funded and was curtailed. So today we have nothing to brag about. The "eye" of the typhoon no longer interests us.

Secret work continues

So, in 1977, within the framework of the UN, the Convention on the Prohibition of "Ecological Warfare" was concluded. (The Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Other Hostile Use of Means of Influencing the Natural Environment - Artificial Stimulation of Earthquakes, Melting Polar Ice and Climate Change.) But, according to experts, secret work on the creation of "absolute" weapons of mass destruction (WMD) continues. Recently, a group of American researchers working on the HARP project conducted an experiment to create artificial northern lights. More precisely, by its modification, since the real northern lights were used as a screen on which the researchers drew their pictures. Using a 1 MW high-frequency radio generator and a set of radio antennas placed over a fairly large area, scientists staged a small light show in the sky. Despite the fact that the mechanism for creating man-made radiance is not yet completely clear even to the researchers themselves, the project participants believe that sooner or later the technology they are developing can be used to illuminate cities at night and, of course, to display advertising. Or for something more significant.

Meanwhile, the US...

The US Army openly begins to develop plasma weapons. The new mobile “MIRAGE plasma gun” will disable enemy communications and navigation systems within a radius of tens of kilometers. The device is able to change the state of the ionosphere - the upper layer of the earth's atmosphere, which is used as a "reflector" for transmitting radio signals over long distances. A plasmoid generated in a special microwave oven will be launched by a rocket to a height of 60-100 km and disrupt the natural distribution of charged particles. According to military experts, in this way you can get rid of several problems at once. Firstly, the "extra" plasma will create a barrier to enemy radars, which under normal conditions, thanks to the ionosphere, can see aircraft from beyond the horizon. Secondly, the "plasma shield" will prevent contact with satellites whose signal passes through the atmosphere. This will create difficulties with orientation to the terrain if GPS receivers are used for it. The design is a small van that is easy to deliver to the place of military operations.

What's next for all of us? In Russia, programs for active influence on the weather have been curtailed. We reacted sluggishly to the news that we found ourselves in a kind of energy circuit between Norway, Greenland and Alaska. The development of ultra-low frequency signals is today the main task of the HARP program. In 1995, the facility had 48 antennas and 960 kilowatt transmitters. Today, 180 antennas are already "earing" at the facility, and the power of the radiated energy reaches 3.6 megawatts. This is enough to create an anti-missile shield, and to "calm" a tornado.

Tractor with milkmaid in the sky

In our country, the frequency of mysterious natural phenomena has doubled over the past 15 years. Hurricane winds, tropical downpours and tornadoes came even to Siberia - a phenomenon that was previously considered absolutely impossible in our climate, not to mention the winter thaws and frosts in July. In July 1994, in the village of Kochki in the Novosibirsk Region, a tornado lifted a tractor with a tractor driver and a milkmaid into the air. On May 29, 2002, in the Kemerovo region, a tornado destroyed the village of Kalinovka. Two people died and 20 were injured. Prior to this, such natural phenomena were not observed either in the Novosibirsk or in the Kemerovo regions. Huge hail, the size of a pigeon's egg, fell in this, 2006, in the populated town of Gagino in the Nizhny Novgorod region. 400 houses completely lost their roofs. In general, in June 2006 alone, Russia was hit by 13 tornadoes and hurricanes. They walked through Azov, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod (hit 68 settlements of the region), then moved to Bashkiria and Dagestan. The destruction was enormous." It's only the beginning...

From English, the abbreviation HARP (HAARP) roughly translates as "Active High-Frequency Northern Lights Research Program" - simple and harmless. People study a natural phenomenon of remarkable beauty. But one thing is not clear: how can one become so interested in this wonderful, but, at first glance, economically useless phenomenon, so much as to pay tens of billions of dollars for research (and additionally for secrecy)?

Krasnoyarsk secret

But to answer this question, you need to go back to the end of the 20th century. Then the USSR, in response to the American SDI program, began to create a network of powerful locators capable, according to the creators, of paralyzing the on-board electronics of intercontinental missiles and taking them off course. The Krasnoyarsk locator was built first, but during its operation two unpleasant things turned out: firstly, the locator turned out to be able to work out only single targets (albeit more than efficiently), and secondly, after a minute of its operation, the ozone layer in the “strike” area became so dense that it did not pass the locator beam itself.

There was another point that was not customary to talk about: the field created by the locator had a rather strange effect on the psyche of people - those who fell under the ozone layer "compacted" by the locator had a desire to run away, hide - in general, caused, to put it mildly, unpleasant emotions.

The program in the USSR was closed, although a network of such systems along the country's borders would have nullified the first two problems. (About the third, as already mentioned, they were silent.) The locator could also be used for peaceful purposes, for example, to “patch” ozone holes, destroy space debris, feed near-Earth satellites, but ... In negotiations on arms reduction, the United States especially insisted on dismantling Krasnoyarsk locator and achieved their goal.

And just a few years after the unique system in the USSR was destroyed, America immediately began to build its own, almost similar system, supposedly to study ... the northern lights.

People who think that the northern lights are just colorful flashes in the sky reflected by ice and nothing more are deeply mistaken. In fact, these are quite complex processes of interaction of cosmic (in particular - solar) rays with our earth's ionosphere, causing amazing effects.

But the US military, hiding behind a program with such a peaceful and beautiful name, was not at all going to spend money on studying these effects. Their essence was clear to American researchers before, and the work of Soviet scientists with the Krasnoyarsk locator only confirmed the following: on the basis of experiments with the ionosphere, it is possible to create an unusually powerful and practically invulnerable weapon.

Tesla's student

Where did such a devastating idea come from in the first place? Back in the middle of the 20th century, a certain Bernard Ostlund, a student of Nikola Tesla, prepared the scientific basis for the HARP program. In 1985, he published a work entitled "Method and Mechanism for Changing the Region of the Atmosphere, Ionosphere and Magnetosphere of the Earth" and received a patent for it.
This project involved a global release of an immense amount (of the order of gigawatts) of energy into the outer spheres of the Earth. That's just the consequences of such an impact on our planet and on all forms of life in the work of Estlund was by no means considered.

A few years later, Östlund lost his patent due to financial problems. And the Pentagon, based on his developments, in 1992 began building a powerful radar station in Alaska at the Gakko military training ground.

Soon the first HARP installation was ready. 15 kilometers north of Dakon (Alaska), on an area of about 13 hectares, 180 antennas 25 meters high each, capable of delivering power up to 3600 kW, ascended into the sky. Antennas directed to the zenith make it possible to focus pulses of short-wave radiation on separate parts of the ionosphere and heat them up to the formation of high-temperature plasma.

After some time, a similar system (only three times more powerful) appeared on the territory of Norway, the third is being built on the island of Greenland. After it is completed, the entire Northern Hemisphere will fall into a giant "network".

The website of the Federation of American Scientists claims that this is just a scientific work. Allegedly, the stations were created to study the properties of the ionosphere in order to better use communication systems. True, on the same site it is written in small print that these “scientific” experiments are financed by the US Air Force and the US Navy Special Department. And the finances are rather big: only 25 billion dollars went to the Alaskan station.

When journalists inquired about the actual significance of these "scientific studies" from the former owner of the patent, he explained that "the antenna facility in Alaska is in fact a huge beam weapon capable of destroying not only all communications networks, but also missiles, aircraft, satellites and much more. In addition, it can cause climate disasters around the world, or at least in some regions, and deadly cosmic radiation, from which there is no protection, and in strictly defined places, all through the irresponsibility of military and government officials.

So much for "studying the northern lights" - everything turned out to be simpler and, unfortunately, more sinister.

Wake up in the matrix

The HARP installations are already working, though not at full capacity - the military themselves are afraid of their creation. However, "experiments", apparently, are already being carried out. Many scientists believe that most of the cataclysms that have shaken the world in recent years are the result of these unnatural “experiments”. Here and an extraordinary drought in Europe, and numerous tsunamis that claimed thousands of lives, earthquakes in the most unexpected places and much, much more.

"Controlled fields", created by high-frequency bases in Alaska and Norway, currently more than cover the entire territory of the former USSR. And this means that the operators of these bases, by pressing a couple of buttons, can easily disrupt the radio communication system in the vast expanses of our country, nullify satellite navigation, confuse early warning air defense radars and disable the on-board electronics of military and civilian ships and aircraft.

Let's not forget about the so-called side effects. Yuri Perunov, a radio engineer, a leading Soviet and Russian specialist in the field of studying the interaction of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation with the near-Earth environment, stated the following in one of his interviews: “Further work on the HARP program will give Americans a real and quick opportunity to get their hands on not only geophysical and climatic, but also psychotronic weapons. Roughly speaking, one morning people will wake up and not even be able to understand that their thoughts, desires, tastes, their choice of food and clothing, mood and political views are determined by the operator of the HARP type installation. I have reason to believe that it was the proximity to the creation of psychotronic weapons that was one of the main reasons due to which all the results of research on HARP in 1997 were classified. Until the end of the eighties, Yuri Perunov intensively explored precisely the area that HARP has monopolized today. But funding for our work in this area was discontinued.
