Kramatorsk Institute of Economics and Humanities (KEGI)
founded in 1992 on the basis of the Donetsk Open University. In 1994, according to the decision of the City Council of People's Deputies of Kramatorsk No. 446, the institute was transformed into an independent higher educational institution with a collective form of ownership. By the decision of the State Accreditation Commission of Ukraine dated June 3, 1998, the Kramatorsk Institute of Economics and Humanities was among the first non-state universities to be accredited at the III level and received the right to issue state diplomas. The main goal of KEGI is to provide an opportunity for a moderate fee to receive a higher economic or humanitarian education, the level of which meets the high professional and ethical standards of a democratic society, while ensuring respect and decent social protection for employees of the institute and students.

The educational process at the correspondence department is built in accordance with the curricula of specialties, developed taking into account the specifics of the correspondence form of education. The most qualified teachers of the institute are involved in teaching at the correspondence department.
Enrollment of students for part-time education is carried out by order of the rector on the basis of the decision of the selection committee and in accordance with the concluded agreements for part-time education. Part-time students enjoy all the rights of students of the corresponding form of education

The Kramatorsk Economics and Humanities Institute has a modern material and technical base, which allows organizing the educational process at the proper level.
For the implementation of the educational process, the Kramatorsk Institute of Economics and Humanities has five separate buildings of its own, and one rented building, the total area of which is 20637.1 square meters. m, which per student is 14 sq. m.
The Institute has a hostel for 170 people, the total area is 1391.7 sq. m.
The total area of computer classes is 1458.7 square meters. m., where 239 personal computers are located. There is free Internet access for both teachers and university students.
There is a canteen with 70 seats and two buffets.
Students have 2 gyms, a gym, a mirror hall and an open sports ground, a medical center.
The Kramatorsk Institute of Economics and Humanities has its own library, the total fund of which is more than 49,057 copies.

The Kramatorsk Institute of Economics and Humanities has established long-term creative ties with leading universities in the near and far abroad. An effective practice of exchanging groups of students and teachers between KEGI and higher educational institutions of England has developed.
The Kramatorsk Economics and Humanities Institute conducts large-scale scientific, educational and organizational cooperation with the Denver Institute (USA), Xianfuan University (PRC). There is a practice of internships for Chinese students in China.
