You can always find it in the forest. Let's go for a walk and meet: It is prickly, like a hedgehog, In winter in a summer dress .

I have longer needles than a Christmas tree. Very straight I grow In height. If I'm not at the edge, Branches - only on top .

WHAT IS NEEDLE?

WHAT IS NEEDLE?

Learning task: we will learn which trees are called conifers, we will learn how to compare spruce and pine.

World around 1 class

Name the trees you know

Pine

Pines love light more than other trees,

therefore their branches are lifted high from the ground,

they reach for the light; firs are standing, lowering

thorny branches almost to the ground.

Elnik

This is a spruce forest. He's called spruce forest

In the spruce forest, the trees stand close to each other

to a friend, so it is thick and shady.

In the gloomy spruce forest it is believed that

it was here that Baba Yaga and Leshy lived and

other heroes of fairy tales, because even

on a hot sunny day in a spruce forest

cool and dark.

Pinery

This is Pine forest. He's called - Pinery.

Pine forest is a huge oxygen factory necessary for all life on earth. Easy and free to breathe in the pine forest, light and dry

in him. Wood is a gift from pine. It is used in the construction of ships and dwellings.

Are the

needles

on those branches?

Name from what

tree branches

Needles on these branches

are called needles

Its from

pines

It's from spruce

Determine which

pine cones, and

which from spruce

What are needles?

  • needles- these are really leaves, only of a special shape - long and narrow. They are able to survive the winter because they are strong enough. The waxy skin does not allow the needles to dry out. Needles even in winter provide the tree with a small amount of food.

This tree turns yellow in autumn and sheds

leaves, as deciduous trees do.

Hence the name - larch.

In May, it warmed, turned green,

I put on the grapes in autumn.

In the scarlet berries - bitterness.

What kind of tree?

Pock

He will rise in the forest like a knight,

Give acorns on time.

Both the forester and the lumberjack

They are familiar with him. This is...

Above her dense foliage

A swarm of bees buzzes in the heat.

And in the winter of all from the flu

Delicious honey treats...

Linden

Sticky buds opened -

He dressed up in leaves.

In summer, a dandy dressed in fluff.

Guessed? - This is...

poplar

What is the name of these trees in one word?

Deciduous.

Bushes and trees, leaves on the branches.

Deciduous forest is, remember, kids.

1st grade page 19

Task: color deciduous trees in yellow.

What do deciduous trees have in common?

These trees have blade-like leaves.

Norway spruce

Scotch pine

How can you name these trees in one word?

Conifers

How are coniferous trees different from deciduous trees?

Coniferous trees have needles instead of leaves.

What are needles?

Needles are also leaves, only of a special shape - long and narrow. They are able to survive the winter because enough

durable. The waxy skin does not allow the needles to dry out. The needles also provide the tree with a small amount of food in winter.

If needles instead of foliage, Then call this forest coniferous.

Workbook on "The World Around" 1st grade page 19

Task: mark coniferous trees in green.

Coniferous trees are called "evergreen".

Why?

Interpretation of the word " eternal"

  • Endless in time.
  • Not ceasing to exist.
  • Permanent, unchanging.

Hypothesis.

In coniferous trees, the needles do not change, they live as long as the tree.

For an answer, let's go for a walk into the coniferous forest.

Our hypothesis was not confirmed. Coniferous trees change their needles, but not all at once, but gradually.

Spruce needles change through

Pine needles change through

2 - 3 years.

6 - 7 years old.

Practical work.

Observation 1. Consider the general view of pine and spruce.

Compare the arrangement of branches on these trees.

Pine branches are raised high from the ground, they stretch upwards towards the sun.

The firs stand with their thorny branches almost to the ground.

Problem question.

How can you explain such an arrangement of branches on a pine and spruce?

Spruce loves shade. Spruce forests are dark and dense. They are always quiet. Winds and snowstorms do not reach the depths of the forest due to thick needles. Therefore, the crossbills breed their chicks in the month of January precisely in the spruce forests.

Workbook on "The World Around" Grade 1 p. 20 No. 2

Draw a pine or spruce tree optional.

Observation 2. "Branches".

Consider spruce and pine branches and determine what they have in common and how they differ.

pine

And on those and on others there are needles, but they are attached in different ways.

In pine, two needles are attached to a branch, and in spruce, each needle.

Observation 2. "Needles".

Compare tree needles.

pine

The length of the needles of the trees is different.

Pine needles are long, spruce needles are short.

Workbook on "The World Around" 1 class p. 20 No. 3.

Task: draw branches of pine and spruce.

Observation 3. "Bumps".

Consider tree cones.

Pine cones are smaller

than the cones ate and are rounder.

Cones ate longer and elongated.

Workbook on "The World Around" Grade 1 p. 20 No. 1.

Task: draw a pine or spruce cone as desired.

Page for the curious.

Siberian cedar is a coniferous tree. Its height can reach 44 meters.

Lifespan 500 -850 years

The needles of the cedar grow in bunches,

5 needles in a bunch.

Pencils are made from cedar wood.

Pine nuts are delicious and very healthy.

Larch is the only deciduous coniferous tree. In a bunch of 30 - 50 needles. Larch is deciduous, but not cone-bearing. On larches, unlike other conifers, mature cones, after seed loss, hang for years.

Juniper is a coniferous shrub.

This is a long-lived plant. In favorable conditions, juniper lives from 600 to 3000 years.

DURING THE CLASSES

Lesson stages

1. Motivation for learning activities.

To become a friend to nature, all its secrets ... (learn)

Solve all the riddles - learn to (observe)

(Students are familiar with the poem and "help" the teacher.)

Well done boys! And we are again going on an amazing journey to learn the secrets and mysteries of the world around us. And in order to find answers to the amazing questions that the surrounding nature asks us, we need to be attentive and inquisitive. Is everyone attentive? Everyone wants to learn and experience something unknown and new for us? (Yes.) Then we begin our lesson.

2. Actualization of knowledge.

And we have guests. Who is this? (Ant Question and Wise Turtle.) (Slide 1)

And, of course, as always, our Ant has a lot of questions. Let's help him?

What season is it now?

What happens in autumn?

What changes are we seeing in the plant kingdom?

As you go to school and return home, you see leaves falling from the trees. And no one knows that the leaves are talking about something with each other. Let's listen (slide 2):

fallen leaves

the conversation is barely audible:

We are from maples ...

We are from apple trees ...

We are from elms ...

We are with cherries ...

From donkey...

From cherry...

From birch...

Falling leaves everywhere

On the threshold - frost!

What are the leaves whispering about?

What is the name of the natural phenomenon when the leaves fall off?

What are the leaves afraid of?

The wise Turtle collected the leaves and brought them to us. Now we will play the game "One, two, three, find a leaf tree!". I have leaves in a box, and on the board you see pictures of trees. I will give you the sheets, and then I will open the pictures. If your leaf is from this tree, you must go to the board and stick it. Each leaf must be on its own tree.

(The teacher turns the pictures of trees over to the students in turn. On the command: “One, two, three - find a leaf for a tree!” The game begins. Students who have a leaf of this tree run forward, explain by what signs the tree was identified , then sit down in place. Leaves of the same tree can be 2-3 students. Two students have branches of spruce and pine.)

3. Creation of a problem situation.

Guys, all the leaves were on their trees? Who else has leaves? Show them to us? Guys, what are these leaves called? What trees do they grow on? (Children give different answers: that these are not leaves, these are needles, they grow on a Christmas tree and do not fall off in the fall).

So many different answers. Ant Question is confused and can’t figure out if the Christmas tree has leaves? Let's try to figure everything out.

4. Mastering new material.

Here is an image of spruce and pine (slide 3)

Are these trees?

Name and show the parts of a tree? Compare spruce with oak. (One student makes a comparison at the blackboard)

So spruce and pine are trees. Only in some trees the leaves look like plates, these are deciduous trees. Other trees have needle-like leaves. Such leaves are called needles, and the trees themselves are called conifers. (slide 4)

Spruce and pine are coniferous trees, and their leaves are needles. (slide 5). Coniferous trees also include larch and cedar. (slide 6) The seeds of such trees are cones.

Research activity.

In front of you on the table are two branches: pine and spruce. Look at them carefully. How are they similar? And what is their difference? (General: needles, green, prickly, covered with a wax film. Difference: pine needles are long, spruce are short. In spruce, needles are attached one at a time, and for pine - two each.)

And now let's compare the cones (slide 7). Show the spruce cone, now put the spruce cone on the spruce branch and the pine cone on the pine branch. (General: there are seeds in the cone. Difference: shape and location on the branch). Seeds are located in the cones of spruce and pine. They are similar in appearance. Having fallen out of the cone, they spin like a helicopter propeller. Picked up by the wind, the seeds can fly quite far from the tree.

Well done boys. The wise Turtle reminded me that it's time to get some rest. Here is her riddle: "In winter and summer in one color." (Fur tree, pine tree). And the Question Ant has prepared for you a fun physical activity “Christmas tree”.

5. Fizminutka "Herringbone"

Experience.

What riddle did the Wise Turtle give us? Indeed, spruce and pine needles are always green in winter and summer. And why is this happening? Indeed, on deciduous trees, the leaves turn yellow and fall off. We will try to find an answer to this question as well.

I need two assistants. One will hold a rowan twig. And another sprig of pine. Let's pretend it's snow. He keeps falling and falling on our twigs (The teacher scatters pieces of white paper from above). What happens to the rowan branch? (“Snow” lingers on the leaves, and the branches bend very strongly). Indeed, snow lingers on the leaves of mountain ash, aspen, birch and other deciduous trees. And under its weight, tree branches can break. Therefore, deciduous trees "dump" their leaves in autumn. This is how they prepare for winter.

Now let's look at the sprig of spruce. What do we see? ("Snow" does not linger on the needles. But it falls down.) That's right. The needles of coniferous trees are covered with a wax film, so the snow “slips off” and does not linger on the branches. This means that there is no need for coniferous trees to “dump” their needles for the winter. And the needles of such trees remain green all year round.

True, there is one coniferous tree, which, unlike all its relatives, still sheds needles for the winter. This is larch. (slide 8) In autumn, her needles turn yellow and fall off like birch, aspen, maple leaves. Therefore, it was called larch.

6. Consolidation of the studied material.

Guys, we found answers to all the questions that needed to be solved today.

What have we learned today? (There are coniferous trees. These are spruce, pine. Their needle-leaves are called needles. They remain green and do not fall off in the fall. Only one coniferous tree has needles falling off - this is larch.)

Even the Christmas tree we are at first

They did not distinguish from pine:

Once the needles stick out -

So, these are Christmas trees.

And when they ate on a branch

We took a better look

It turned out that she

Not like pine.

And now we will draw branches of spruce and pine. And also see which trees we have deciduous and which coniferous. (Work in notebooks)

7. Summing up. Reflection.

Guys, today at the lesson we learned a lot of new and interesting things. Let's remember everything so that the Ant remembers everything and no longer asks questions about spruce and pine.

(There are deciduous and coniferous trees. Deciduous leaves are in the form of plates, they turn yellow in autumn and fall off. Coniferous trees have needle-shaped leaves, I call them needles. They remain green all year round and do not fall off in autumn. Only larch loses its needles. Spruce and pine - coniferous trees. Spruce needles are short and attached to the branches one at a time. And its cones are long. Pine needles are long, two needles are attached to the branch, and the cones are round).

Well done, Ant questioner is very grateful to you.

But the Wise Turtle says she was upset because we never played her game to the end. Two leaves never found their tree. Who has these leaves? Come out to the board. Find out which tree they belong to. (Students come out, attach needles to spruce, pine to pine and explain their choice.)

The wise turtle also thanks you. And gives you leaves with cones. Look at the leaf in front of you, where there are three cones drawn: large, medium and small. If everything was clear to you when completing the task, you easily coped with them - circle the big bump. If you had difficulty completing some tasks, if you did not know how to answer some questions, circle a medium-sized bump. If it was hard for you, if you could not complete the proposed tasks and did not know the answers to my questions - circle the small bump.

Our next trip has come to an end. But in the world around us there are still many secrets and mysteries that we have to learn and unravel. And already on the next lesson we will go on a new adventure together with our assistants: Question Ant and Wise Turtle.
