Rudolf Naumovich Solovyov. Angelic appearance with character. Happy birthday, Inna Solomonovna! Instead of searching for a secret organization, they decided to shoot Kolchak

There are not many well-known personalities among journalists. Biography of Vladimir Solovyov, his personal life is interesting to many people. He hosts several popular political programs. His activities have been repeatedly criticized, and he himself has repeatedly clashed with various influential people. Among them were Polonsky, Alexander Nevzorov and others.

Childhood and youth

Vladimir was born on October 20, 1963 in Moscow. His father, Rudolf Naumovich Solovyov (the man's real name is Vinitskovsky), was a boxing champion and a teacher of political economy. Mom, Inna Solomonovna Shapiro, worked as an art critic at the Battle of Borodino Museum.

The boy's parents met while studying at the Pedagogical Institute. They divorced when Vladimir was little, but maintained friendly relations. The child was not worried about this event. He loved his mother and grandparents very much.

In the first grade, Solovyov went to regular school No. 72, since it was close to home. But then Inna Solomonovna decided to take up the education of her son closely and he was sent to an educational institution with in-depth study of the English language. The children of the party elite went to this school and a number of lessons were conducted in a foreign language. The boy brilliantly coped with the entrance tests and was accepted.

During his studies, he showed interest in:

  • to football;
  • to martial arts;
  • to theatrical art.

Vladimir studied averagely and was a confident good student. He was often called a debater because of the desire to defend his position. Any question the boy studied thoroughly.

In 1980 Vladimir finished school. He wanted to enter MEPhI, but ran into a problem. He had a Jewish nationality and at that time, such people were not taken to such educational institutions. For the same reason, he did not manage to get into the physics department of Moscow State University. He did not pass the entrance examinations to the Moscow Construction and Engineering Institute.

As a result, he ended up at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys at the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry. Vladimir graduated from the educational institution with a red diploma.

He studied in graduate school and in 1990 defended his dissertation and received a Ph.D.

Carier start

Vladimir in his youth did not disdain any work. He sewed clothes, swept floors, taught children physics and astronomy. In 1990, a man receives an invitation from the University of Huntsville, who was in the United States. Solovyov goes to the country with his wife. In America, he liked the social and political life, and Vladimir began to actively participate in it.

At the university, he worked for only a semester, after which his contract was terminated. Solovyov considered this interference by the FBI.

He spent two years in the USA and at that time worked as a karate coach and lawn mower. Vladimir returned to Russia with his wife and little daughter in 1992. The future journalist is actively engaged in business. According to him, he owned a small plant in the Philippines and Russia. Enterprises produced disco equipment. The man also had a recruitment agency in Moscow. He later sold the business and secured his financial independence.

Vladimir could continue to develop as an entrepreneur, but he was not interested in this area. He was more attracted to work as a journalist. In 1997, he began broadcasting on the Silver Rain radio, and a year later he received the Nightingale Trills program.

In 1999, Solovyov began working as a TV presenter.. Together with Alexander Gordon, he hosted the program "Process". After that, the talk show “Passion for Solovyov” appeared, where businessmen and journalists from the opposition were invited.

The show "To the Barrier" was a complete success. People who have different views on the same problem are invited as guests. The verbal duel consisted of three rounds. At the first, a dispute was held, at the second, seconds were connected, at the third, the TV presenter asked questions. The audience determined the winner.

The program "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" is also popular. It discusses current issues, the latest news and discussions. The project has been repeatedly criticized and accused of promoting violence and aggression.

Solovyov works at Vesti.FM radio, where he hosts the Full Contact program together with Anna Shafran. They discuss various topical issues.

Vladimir Solovyov is not afraid to openly express his position, discuss and condemn the actions of people. He is often criticized for this manner. In 2019, the presenter called the residents of Yekaterinburg "demons", as they opposed the construction of a church on the site of the square. Some residents of the Urals were indignant at such a definition and promised to sue Solovyov.

Vladimir himself does not comment on this situation in any way and continues to work on his projects. He does not plan to give up the work of the presenter. He is not afraid of the threat of litigation and does not refuse his words.

Miscellaneous data

Vladimir in his youth was the owner of excess weight. Despite this, he had many admirers, and he did not suffer from a lack of female attention. The man was distinguished by charisma, the ability to convince and was an interesting conversationalist.

His external data:

Before losing weight, the journalist weighed more than 100 kg. He published the book "Soloviev against Vladimir Solovyov", where he outlined his personal experience. Nothing new was said in the text - proper nutrition and moderate physical activity helped the man get rid of extra pounds. Vladimir keeps himself in shape with jogging and training in the gym.

Solovyov has never been a humorist and takes life quite seriously. In an interview, he admits that he professes Judaism.

The well-known presenter actively uses Twitter. He hides his contacts, those wishing to arrange a meeting turn to his assistant Tabriz Shakhidi. Solovyov wrote more than 25 books on various topics. The last one came out in 2018 and is dedicated to negotiating tactics.

Personal life

The first time Vladimir got married at the age of 22. His chosen one was a girl named Olga. They met on the subway. The young man believed that he married very late. His father was already married at the age of 18, and his grandfather at 16. Olga gave birth to two children - Polina and Alexander.

While studying in graduate school, Solovyov became interested in a girl named Yulia. He divorced his first wife and proposed to a new darling. They moved to the USA together and there their daughter Ekaterina was born. After returning to Russia, Vladimir had to work hard to provide for his family.

Later, Solovyov went into business and in this area he was expected to succeed.. He acquired useful connections and acquaintances. One of his friends invited him to star in the video. On the set, Vladimir met Elga Sepp, the daughter of Viktor Koklyushkin, a famous satirist writer.

The new acquaintance made an ambiguous impression on the woman. He weighed 140 kg and had a mustache. She hesitated for a long time, but agreed to the meeting. On the third date, Vladimir proposed to her. He divorced his second wife and the couple quickly married.

Elga Sapp is still Solovyov's wife. The first wedding ceremony was held in the circle of relatives and close people. In 2005, they organized a second wedding in Normandy. The couple have five children - Daniel, Vladimir, Ivan, Sofia-Betina, Emma-Esther.

Family is very important to Vladimir, but he prefers not to post personal photos on Instagram. On his page there are moments from training, shots from work and various memories of the past. For a journalist, this is a small blog where he shares his thoughts.

Vladimir Solovyov is probably familiar to every Russian who, at least by chance, passed by the TV. The image of a real Russian patriot has long been formed around him, but is this true?

Nationality of Vladimir Solovyov

Let's take a quick look at the journalist's biography. He was born in Moscow during the USSR, but his parents were Jews. Mother - Inna Solomonovna Shapiro, father - Rudolf Naumovich Vinitskovsky, later took the surname Solovyov. His parents also lived most of their lives in Moscow.

It turns out that the famous Russian patriot is a purebred Jew. The journalist himself never hid this, openly recognizing his nationality in various programs.

We move on. Solovyov also never hid that he professes Judaism, the religion most common in the Jewish community. This information is in the public domain in the same Wikipedia. I support freedom of religion in our country, but the following fact seems at least strange to me.

Judge for yourself: Solovyov wrote a whole book called "The Gospel According to Solovyov." Already strange, isn't it? A person of Jewish origin, professing Judaism, writes a book in which he talks about Christianity and the second coming of Christ. The plot of the book was subjected to well-founded criticism. What can we say, in it Jesus himself appoints Solovyov as his prophet.

Finally, it is worth mentioning one more interesting fact. Solovyov tried to migrate to the United States in the 90s, but after several years living there, he returned to his homeland. After that, he repeatedly spoke with restrained criticism of the States, pointing out that life there is not as wonderful as it seems to many.

Now, after so many years, Solovyov does not do without criticism of the United States in almost every speech. But as I see the situation: most likely, he expected to get a standard of living there unprecedented in Russia, but he could not achieve this. The lost time and energy formed a kind of resentment towards this country, which came in handy in his later career.

Let's summarize. Personally, it seems to me that the image of a primordially Russian patriot in Solovyov is not very compatible with all of the above. This is especially true after his book, which can easily hurt the feelings of some Orthodox people.

Everything bad that happens and happened in the World comes from the Railways... "Divide and Conquer", the basis of THEIR power... They don't fight on their own, they pit everyone against each other... then they finish off and rob... ". ..There is no braver fighter in the World... What a frightened Jew..." (Aibolit)

Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov is a Russian journalist, TV and radio presenter, publicist, singer and public figure. Candidate of Economic Sciences. Member of the Presidium of the Russian Jewish Congress.

Vladimir Solovyov was born on October 20, 1963 in Moscow into a Jewish family. Father - Rudolf Naumovich Solovyov (Meninskovsky), mother - Inna Solomonovna Solovyova (Shapiro).

Vladimir spent his first school year at School No. 72 in Moscow, next to his home. Starting from the second grade, he studied at the elite special school No. 27 with the study of a number of subjects in English, where the children and grandchildren of members of the Central Committee of the CPSU, diplomats, etc. studied (now - secondary school No. 1232 with in-depth study of English).

In 1980 he entered and in 1986 graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with honors. Graduated from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the USSR Academy of Sciences. He defended his dissertation on the topic "The main trends in the production of new materials and the factors of the effectiveness of their use in the industry of the United States and Japan" and received a PhD in economics. Until 1990, he taught physics, mathematics and astronomy at school No. 27, where he studied. Since 1990, he has taught economics at the University of Alabama.

In 2011, the Religious Community of Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan sent a note of protest to the leadership of the Vesti FM radio station, as well as to the Russian Jewish Congress, against Solovyov's comparison of the Holocaust and the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict on the air of Vesti FM.

Plays football for the team of the Russian Jewish Congress.

Married to Elga Sepp (Jewish by origin), daughter of the famous satirist Viktor Koklyushkin. Father of eight children (from three wives).

He professes Judaism.

Solovyov himself says this about his Jewishness: “I am well acquainted with the history of my people, both Jewish and Russian, and I take this very seriously. I am very well acquainted with the history of Israel and the history of Russia, and not just the peoples. But I have great pleasure in Jewish literature.” “Of course, everything that I do bears the imprint of many cultures, but the Jewish attitude leaves an imprint on what I do. The attitude of a Jew differs from others in that every Jewish boy sees himself as Moshiach. It is important. Who he will be then is the tenth thing. But still, you must grow up with the feeling that you can become Moshiach ... I believe that the split within the Jews is a crime.

And the video itself, where Solovyov clearly states that the Russians are visiting the Jews, and Russia is a Jewish country. Such arrogance is rarely heard.

How Solovyov lies all over the country

Father - Rudolf Naumovich Solovyov (real name Vinitskovsky, then took the name of his mother) - a teacher of political economy. Mother - Inna Solomonovna Solovieva (maiden name Shapiro, born in 1943) - art critic. Vladimir Solovyov's parents separated, and the boy was brought up in his mother's family. “We lived with my parents. Both Volodin's grandfather, Solomon Lvovich Shapiro, and grandmother, Polina Petrovna, working at a sensitive enterprise (the Khrunichev plant), gave Volodya a lot of care and attention. He owes them a lot, especially his love for books and work, ”recalls the mother of the TV presenter Inna Solovyeva in a biography on his official website. At first, Vladimir Solovyov studied at a regular school (No. 22), which was not far from home. But the mother wanted to give her son a good education and transferred him to school No. 27 with in-depth study of foreign languages. Vladimir did well in his exams and was accepted into this elite school on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. Vladimir Solovyov studied excellently at school, was fond of history and literature. From a young age, Vladimir defended his opinion in discussions, as if preparing himself for the “Duel” program. If any subject attracted his attention, the future presenter studied it carefully and scrupulously. The young man was especially interested in philosophy. In high school, Vladimir Solovyov went in for sports - football, martial arts. Vladimir Solovyov graduated from high school in 1980. I tried to enter MEPhI, but the documents were not accepted because of Jewish origin, the mother of the TV presenter wrote about this in his biography. Also, documents were not accepted from Vladimir at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, and Solovyov did not enter the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute without passing the entrance exam in mathematics. Vladimir Solovyov entered the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISiS). In 1986, Vladimir graduated from the institute with honors and received the specialty "metallurgical engineer". At MISiS, Solovyov met the future adviser to the President of Russia, Vladislav Surkov, and Mikhail Fridman (now a billionaire and owner of Alfa Bank), they were a year younger. Vladimir Rudolfovich entered the graduate school of the Institute of International Relations and the World Economy. In 1989, Solovyov defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: "Fundamentals of trends in the production of new materials and factors for the effectiveness of their use in the industry of Japan and the USA." Labor biography of Vladimir Solovyov. Vladimir Solovyov always believed that the head of the family must work hard and hard to feed his children and wife. Therefore, Solovyov took on any job: he worked as a janitor, laid bricks at a construction site, taught physics and astronomy at school. In his free time, Vladimir wrote stories, but he did not show them to anyone, only to his mother, according to his biography on the Know Everything website. In 1990, Vladimir Solovyov was invited to teach economics at the University of Huntsville (Alabama). But after the first semester, the university management terminated the contract, according to Solovyov - at the insistence of the FBI. It was hard. Vladimir tried to earn some money by any means: he cut lawns, gave karate lessons. Solovyov even took part in the election campaign of George W. Bush. Here Vladimir Solovyov went into business. After the collapse of the USSR, Vladimir returned home and continued to do business. Vladimir Rudolfovich said that he opened production in Russia - he produced disco equipment at his own factory. He also had a recruitment agency. Biographies report that Solovyov successfully sold his business in the 90s. The Open Russia organization reported that Solovyov owns shares in VM Development, SV Consulting, SV Music Management, and TV-6. Vladimir Solovyov tweeted that he does not hide his income and that he regularly pays taxes. However, the career of a journalist and TV presenter turned out to be the main one in the biography of Vladimir Solovyov. The work of Vladimir Solovyov on radio and television. Vladimir's appearance on the radio happened by accident. The host of Silver Rain fell ill and Solovyov was invited to replace him on the air. From 1997 to 2010, Vladimir Rudolfovich led the morning program Nightingale Trills. The transfer was a success. Solovyov's television career began in 1999. He became co-host of Alexander Gordon's political talk show The Trial. In 2001, Gordon decided to take the program off the air, although Solovyov was against its closure. Simultaneously with the "Process" Vladimir Solovyov began to conduct the author's project "Passion for Solovyov" on TNT. Vladimir was visited by Anna Politkovskaya, Grigory Yavlinsky, Alexander Gradsky, Philip Kirkorov and many other famous people. Then Vladimir Solovyov began to cooperate with the TV-6 channel, realizing the nightly show about the chanson "Nightingale Night" and the morning program "Breakfast with Solovyov". In 2003, "Breakfast" was replaced by the "Influence" program with Dmitry Kiselev, which, according to Solovyov, was an exact copy of his program. Before the closing of "Breakfast" in 2002, Solovyov began to broadcast "Duel" on the TVS channel, which instantly became popular. But after the channel was closed in 2003, Vladimir Rudolfovich switched to NTV with almost the same program, only now "Duel" was renamed "Barrier". In 2010, Solovyov signed a contract with the Russia-1 TV channel and since then his program has been released under the same name Duel. Solovyov was visited by many famous people: Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Gennady Zyuganov, Mikhail Prokhorov, writer Alexander Prokhanov and others. Currently, Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov continues to host the Duel program, as well as the Sunday Evening with Solovyov program Criticism and scandals with Vladimir Solovyov Vladimir Solovyov as the host of Duel and Evening are periodically criticized for not always being objective hosts his TV show, clearly showing sympathy for those guests that he personally likes. Often, the statements of an emotional and witty presenter become an occasion for scandals, including international ones. For example, a protest was sent from the religious community of the Jews of Azerbaijan for the words of Solovyov: “I believe that the Azerbaijanis would be adorned if they apologized for the tragedy of Sumgayit and the pogroms in Baku. I believe that the road of hate is a dead end road." And in 2014, Vladimir Solovyov was offended at the Faculty of Political Science of the National Research University Higher School of Economics for saying that, under the guise of the faculty, the university was educating terrorist groups and preparing the “Maidan underground”. In the same year, the court denied businessman Sergei Polonsky a lawsuit against the Vesti FM radio station and journalist Vladimir Solovyov. Polonsky estimated the moral damage caused to him at 200 million rubles. The businessman did not like the way they talked about him in the Full Contact program, Polonsky went to court and demanded Solovyov to refute 16 phrases. The defendants expressed their disagreement with the lawsuit, stating that the journalist has the right to express his personal opinion. Solovyov gives sharp assessments to deserving politicians and public figures. In 2015, Vladimir commented to SP on Alfred Koch's proposal to move the Victory Parade from Moscow to Berlin. “Apparently, Koch completely lost not only the sense of reality, but also the slightest idea of conscience. My question is not even to him, but to those who appointed him to public office. We Jews take it easy. Holocaust denial is punishable by law in many countries. We know how to fight for our historical memory. I would like the heirs of the great Soviet Victory to adopt this experience, ”Soloviev emphasized. In 2016, during a visit to Chelyabinsk, Vladimir Solovyov said that he could not recognize the city, as it became dusty, dirty, “dead trees and nothing to breathe. He also suggested that the city does not have an owner, or that the people who govern it do not live in it themselves. In response to criticism, the mayor of Chelyabinsk, Yevgeny Teftelev, stressed that the administration pays attention to cleaning the streets. “If we talk about me, then I am not a “owner”, I have a collegial way of managing the city. I can’t imagine myself without the City Council, we are working together on all the problems that arise in the city today,” the news portal quoted the mayor as saying. Сhelyabinsk.ru . The media noted that the residents of Chelyabinsk considered untenable Teftelev's response to criticism of TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov. A big stir in the news was caused by Solovyov's words about the participants in the anti-corruption rally of Alexei Navalny on June 12, 2017. According to him, on June 12 there was a "revolt of the majors", whose parents are either already in jail for corruption or are on probation. “Naturally, they blame Putin for this. And it turns out that Navalny is not against Putin. Navalny turned his gopniks against the people. Well, let's calculate how much this vile Polygraphich brought to the streets ... Let's say that he had 5 thousand, and on Tverskaya there were 260 thousand ... So, this turns out to be 1.9%. That is, the eternal 2% of shit. And these 2% of shit think that they are here - the power?! Do they think they can spoil people's holiday?! These 2% of crap consider themselves entitled to explain something to someone in Moscow ?! ”, - the words of Solovyov to the media on the air of the Full Contact program on the Vesti FM radio station. Another scandal of 2017, which got into the news of the leading media, happened to Solovyov with a colleague on television, Ivan Urgant. Urgant in his program, being smeared with a special cream, noted that "nightingale droppings is a good name for a show on the Russia-1 channel." TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, on the air of his program on the Russia 1 TV channel, commented on Ivan Urgant’s joke about “nightingale droppings”. “I know a great way to do it so as not to get into the Peacekeeper. It’s enough to make a nasty joke about me on your channel, ”said the host on the air of his Sunday Evening show. Solovyov on his Twitter blacklisted Urgant, and now in all the comments for the media he speaks of the revenge of Channel One against Russia. To information

Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov comes from an intelligent family of Moscow Jews. His parents, Rudolf Naumovich (who changed his surname Vinitskovsky to Solovyov in 1962) and Inna Solomonovna, met while students of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. Lenin.

After graduating from the institute, Rudolf Naumovich worked as a teacher of political economy at the Moscow Statistical College, and Inna Solomonovna got a job at the newly opened Borodino Battle Panorama Museum.

The Solovyovs did not live very friendly, eventually dispersing when Volodya was six years old, but, as intelligent people, they maintained good relations. Therefore, Vova spent the weekend either with his father or with his grandparents - Solomon Lvovich and Polina Petrovna, who worked at the Machine-Building Plant. Khrunichev and lived on Bolshaya Filevskaya Street. In the first grade, Volodya went to secondary school No. 72 on the same street, but soon, thanks to his father’s connections, he moved to the elite English special school No. 27 on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, where the children of the cream of Soviet society studied. At school, Solovyov actively participated in amateur performances and went in for sports. So, he became seriously interested in football, even playing for the main team of the FSM (Youth Football School) children's team, and in high school he attended the karate section.

After graduating from school in 1980, Vladimir decided to enter the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, but his attempt was unsuccessful. There was too much competition that year for this prestigious university, and applicants who had “Jew” in the “nationality” column in their passport were extremely reluctant to accept. I had to improvise as I went along. Solovyov’s documents were not accepted to the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, because he delayed the deadlines for their delivery, he did not enter the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute, having successfully “filled up” mathematics. But he did not lose heart, because, having been born in October, he had one more attempt to enter the university before the term of his call. He successfully implemented this attempt, becoming in 1981 a student at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.

Vladimir studied excellently, graduating from high school with honors. At the same time, it should be noted that with their later famous fellow students Mikhail Fridman and Vladislav Surkov I didn’t know each other, because they studied at different faculties. In addition, Fridman and Surkov, who lived in the hostel, had a slightly different social circle than the Muscovite Solovyov.

After graduating from the institute, Vladimir Rudolfovich did not go to work as a metallurgical engineer by profession, but entered graduate school, and not at his native MISiS, but at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, which he then headed Evgeny Primakov. The graduate students were not paid much, and Solovyov, who married in his last year at the institute and was expecting replenishment in the family, was in great need of money. He worked as a janitor, "sneaked" at the construction of garages, was engaged in "individual labor activity" in tailoring T-shirts, led a karate section, and translated scientific articles from English. At one time he worked as a teacher in his native special school No. 27, where he taught three subjects at once: mathematics, physics and astronomy. But still, in order to support a wife with two children, the money was sorely lacking. Finally, seeing his torment, Solovyov’s comrade in graduate school Igor Kostikov recommended him to work in the Committee of Youth Organizations of the USSR.

Vladimir Rudolfovich worked as an expert in this committee for two years. During this time, he managed to get along with his colleague Dmitry Rogozin, who served as head of the international organizations sector, had plenty of travel abroad and “break through” his internship in the United States, at the School of Scientific Administration of the University of Alabama in the small town of Huntsville. But a year later, in 1991, Solovyov left the university, taking up the construction business, to which he unexpectedly showed an inclination.

Vladimir Rudolfovich started as a business consultant, then he became the CEO of the Universal Group of Companies. In 1992, he returned to Russia and continued his business activities, the directions of which were very different: from the production of equipment for discos to the recruitment of personnel. Then Solovyov sold his business, and the proceeds began to be invested in various securities.

But nevertheless, the artistic nature of Vladimir Rudolfovich wanted something more, so in 1997, when his friend from the American period of life Alexander Gordon called him on the radio "Silver Rain" to replace the sick presenter, then Solovyov readily agreed. Soon he became the host of the Nightingale Trills program on this radio. Two years later, Gordon, who was already on ORT, invited Vladimir Rudolfovich to television to co-host the "Process" program. This program was a talk show in which Gordon and Solovyov, with the help of experts invited by them, defended opposing points of view on various issues of politics and economics, a kind of game of “good and evil investigator”. In The Trial, Solovyov clearly overplayed the academic cracker Gordon, so the latter did everything to ensure that the transfer was closed in 2000.

But Vladimir Rudolfovich was not very distressed about this, since he had already managed to gain a foothold on television. So, in 1999, Solovyov began to conduct the program “Passion for Solovyov” on the TNT channel, which was an interview with political and cultural figures. Among his guests were a journalist Anna Politkovskaya(subsequently killed by an assassin) Grigory Yavlinsky, Konstantin Borovoy. After this program ceased to exist in 2001, Vladimir Rudolfovich launched two projects on TV-6 at once: the programs Breakfast with Solovyov and Nightingale Night. It is interesting that “Nightingale Night”, dedicated to “Russian chanson” (this is how thieves songs began to be veiled), became the last program that TV-6 viewers saw on the air, since it was interrupted at exactly midnight on January 22, 2002, when TV-6 broadcasting was stopped. As for "Breakfast with Solovyov", the transmission resumed on the new TVS channel, where it aired until 2003.

In 2002, Vladimir Rudolfovich began making the Duel and Look Who Came programs on TVS, and in 2003 he switched to NTV as the host of the Orange Juice program. This name alluded to an episode that took place in 1995, when Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Boris Nemtsov began pouring orange juice on each other during a live broadcast Alexandra Lyubimova"One on one" on ORT. Solovyov during this program interviewed famous politicians, including the President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili. The Orange Juice program was closed in 2005, when Soloviev began hosting another program on NTV - Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov. The program turned out to be quite sharp, although Vladimir Rudolfovich sinned that he often invited the same people to it. In 2008, it was closed due to a low rating, although Solovyov claimed that everything was in order with the rating of his program.

But the favorite brainchild of Vladimir Rudolfovich was the program “To the Barrier!”, Which he began to host on NTV in 2003, simultaneously with Orange Juice. It soon became one of the highest rated programs on Russian television. It should be noted that the program was not broadcast live, but was pre-recorded in the studio. Since it was obvious from the very beginning who the “whipping boy” was on the talk show, during the entire period of the program’s existence there were persistent rumors that the list of “duelists” was approved in the Presidential Administration, almost personally by Vladislav Surkov.

They invited Vladimir Rudolfovich to broadcast on regional channels similar to the original program, but with local specifics. So, in 2006, he led the debate on the Samara channel "TRK SKAT" between candidates for the post of mayor of Samara Viktor Tarkhov(acting mayor from the "Party of Life") and Georgy Limansky representing United Russia. After several questions from Solovyov, which the mayor considered offensive, he left the studio, and being re-elected for a new term, he sued the presenter and demanded to recover 10 million rubles from him as compensation for moral damage. The trial lasted a year and a half, and as a result, Solovyov was forced to pay 75 thousand rubles.

In 2008, Gordon invited Vladimir Rudolfovich to his new Gordon Quixote program on Channel One, but Solovyov refused, citing a valid contract with NTV. But already in 2009, the program "To the Barrier!" was closed. Since the program, which aired on Thursdays in prime time, was not in danger of a low rating, it was closed because a lot of complaints had accumulated against it “at the top”. The guests of the program allowed themselves too much, and Vladimir Rudolfovich himself was not always restrained. Solovyov even allowed himself to criticize the Presidential Administration, and also expressed his annoyance at not accepting Gordon's proposal, saying that "Gordon Quixote" is nothing more than "a rehash of his ideas."

In 2010, Vladimir Rudolfovich left the Silver Rain radio station and went to work for the Vesti FM radio station and the Russia-1 TV channel. On the radio, he hosts the program “Morning with Vladimir Solovyov. Full contact", and on television - the talk show "Duel". He also revived Sunday Evening, which he hosts on the Russia-1 channel. As the host of this program, Solovyov demonstrates ostentatious objectivity, sometimes even allowing criticism of the United Russia party (but never the President of the Russian Federation), while at the same time trying to prevent the program from turning into an "opposition platform". Putting on the guise of a truth-seeker, he sometimes "flirts" and causes criticism. In particular, in 2011, the community of Mountain Jews of Azerbaijan sent a note of protest to the leadership of Vesti FM in connection with Solovyov's harsh statements against the Azerbaijani leadership. However, there have been no complaints from the authorities about him yet.

Vladimir Rudolfovich never limited himself to the role of a TV presenter, actively participating in the political life of the country. So, on the eve of the presidential elections in 2004, the disgraced oligarch Boris Berezovsky invited Solovyov to the UK in order to convince him to run for the highest state post of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Rudolfovich hastened to reject Berezovsky's proposal, referring to the fact that the rating Putin"unshakable", and then hastened to publicize the content of his conversations with Boris Abramovich. After the tragedy in Beslan, Solovyov became one of the organizers of an anti-terrorist rally on Vasilyevsky Spusk in Moscow, to which they hastened to express support for the authorities. Thus, Muscovites' indignation at the helplessness of the special services was skillfully channeled into a channel relatively safe for the Russian leadership.

In addition to political activities, Vladimir Rudolfovich is actively engaged in writing. Sixteen books were published from his pen, and Solovyov acquired the gift of writing rather late, already forty years, in 2005. He writes an average of three books per year, and a rather large volume, 250 - 300 pages, and, for example, his "Chronicles of the Second Coming" came out on 544 pages. The subject of his work is the most diverse: from discussions about the fate of Russia to advice to those who want to lose weight. With such coverage of topics, it is hardly worth talking about the depth of their study, but rather thoughts come about a tendency to graphomania and the use of literary slaves in personal work.

Vladimir Rudolfovich, according to him, adheres to right-wing liberal views, which, however, does not prevent him from almost openly calling Yegor Gaidar and Anatoly Chubais"criminals". In turn, Vladimir Putin, he has always supported and continues to support. Solovyov was also considered one of the ideologists of the pro-Kremlin Nashi movement. At the same time, he categorically refused to go to the deputies of the State Duma.

Vladimir Rudolfovich also distinguished himself as a fighter against corruption. In 2007, he published materials on the TRELI.ru website in which he named the chairman of the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow District among the corrupt officials Lyudmila Maykova. In response, Maykova complained about Solovyov to the Public Collegium for Press Complaints, and also filed an application with the Investigative Committee to open a criminal case on charges of libel against the judge. However, she was refused to initiate a case, and then Maikova lost her status as a judge and was dismissed.

Immediately after the story with Maykova, in 2009, an advertisement for Sberbank of Russia appeared in the Moscow metro, in which Soloviev reported that he had earned $ 2 million with the bank. Then, an advertising campaign began on the Internet for the “School of Kabbalah by Vladimir Solovyov” and “intragastric balloons”, thanks to which the presenter allegedly lost weight. Vladimir Rudolfovich himself categorically denied his involvement in this advertisement, referring to the intrigues of his opponents. However, the campaign significantly worsened Solovyov's image among Internet users and provoked numerous offensive attacks against him on the Web.

Despite the fact that from the lips of Vladimir Rudolfovich one could repeatedly hear angry philippics against corrupt officials, he himself is also far from without sin. In particular, he never hesitated to take money for the "correct context" of his programs, and a lot of money. The amounts of his orders, according to some reports, were fabulous. After all, for example, he would hardly have agreed to organize the persecution of a banker on the air of Silver Rain Sergei Pugachev, which came out of favor with the authorities, for nothing. On the other hand, Solovyov also helped the president of the Moscow Oil Company, not free of charge. Shalva Chigirinsky in the media coverage of his lawsuit in the High Court of London against Berezovsky and Abramovich. According to reports, five years ago the cost of "image promotion" in one of Solovyov's programs was about 300 thousand euros. Now prices seem to have increased.

Such "schemes" were in many ways the reason for Solovyov's dismissal from the NTV channel. But Vladimir Rudolfovich still did not remain with nothing. He owns a villa in Italy in the town of Pianello del Lario on the picturesque shores of Lake Como (which, by the way, is registered on the offshore Honor International LLC), country houses in the Moscow region (in Peredelkino and Bakovka), and three apartments in an elite building on Dolgorukovskaya Street in Moscow , the smallest of which is 158 square meters. He also has an apartment on Staropimenovskaya Street in Moscow, which was presented to him by the head of the Druzhba construction company in gratitude for helping him get free from criminal prosecution. The host has eight cars, including two Audi A8 and a Mercedes S-600, as well as an E-class Mercedes, registered as an Italian citizen, Solovyov uses this vehicle when traveling to Lake Como.

Solovyov was married three times. He has two children from his first wife, his daughter Polina works at the Melodiya record company, and his son Alexander lives in the UK and shoots music videos. From his second marriage with Yulia Zhvakina, he has a daughter, Ekaterina, who graduated from the Theater School. Schukin. Well, at present, Vladimir Rudolfovich is happy in his third marriage with Elga Sepp, the daughter of the famous satirist Viktor Koklyushkin, the author of texts for such well-known pop-talk artists as Yefim Shifrin, Evgeny Petrosyan, Klara Novikova, Vladimir Vinokur. In this marriage he has five children.

Vladimir Rudolfovich Solovyov is, like Mikhail Leontiev, a talented amateur who, without having a specialized education and having arrived rather late on television, managed to become one of the most rated presenters. However, unlike the same Leontiev, Solovyov never stooped to "bare propaganda." After all, he is not a propagandist, he is a journalist, a real PR man with a subtle flair for the political situation of the moment. He knows how to say what the viewer wants to hear, where necessary, he knows how to remain silent, where necessary, on the contrary, to speak out on the verge of a foul. Thus, he forms an opinion that will always be in favor of the current government. For this, Vladimir Rudolfovich is appreciated, forgiving some "weaknesses".

If he is already talking about Solovyov's weaknesses, then the most important of them is arrogance, multiplied by hypocrisy. Vladimir Rudolfovich does not get tired of moralizing from the TV screen and from the pages of his books, in which he claims, no more, no less, the role of the messiah (he, without further ado, called one of his books “The Gospel of Solovyov”, and its continuation - “ Apocalypse from Vladimir"), claiming the ultimate truth. But when the conversation turns to "gesheft", the self-styled "evangelist" easily forgets about the principles that he preaches.
