What do star wars cards mean? Star Wars: The Last Jedi: What the ending really means. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren

After two agonizing years of waiting, The Last Jedi is finally here, answering many of the lingering questions that left fans confused after The Force Awakens. Those who have seen this film now know who Rey's parents are, what is really in Kylo Ren's heart and who the last Jedi is.

The film is a great mix of spectacle, well-crafted characters and a satisfying plot that only falters briefly in places (mostly thanks to clunky dialogue and overdone slapstick). Without a doubt, this is a successful sequel to The Force Awakens, and a great success for the franchise as a whole.

And what’s important is that the film doesn’t try to hide any loose ends. Instead, the pieces move around the chessboard, moving toward the final showdown between good and bad. The revelations in the film are designed to keep fans on the edge of their seats throughout Episode IX.

In this article, we will reveal the meaning of the ending of The Last Jedi and all the possible consequences for the near future.

Of course, there are many spoilers. Read at your own risk.

10. No post-credits scene

If you left the theater before the credits rolled, you didn't miss any MCU-themed scenes.

But that doesn't mean you should freak out once the credits start rolling: right at the end there's a touching tribute to Carrie Fisher at Star Wars Celebration 2017. It's a simple card, but it deserves to be seen, and it should evoke a little emotional reaction .

9. Rey - The Chosen One (And We Know Her Origin)

Rey's story shouldn't be much of a surprise considering the fact that The Force Awakens and the trailers this time around showed her learning about powers. But it's still good to have confirmation that she is Luke Skywalker's successor as the Chosen One (or at least the most powerful force of Light who can stand against the greatest evil in the galaxy).

Although only three lessons should teach her the dangers of following the Jedi code, Rey actually learns by accident how to be the most powerful character on the light side. This, of course, echoes what Luke Skywalker himself did with Yoda.

By the end of the film, we learn where Rey went (or the general shape of her future) and her past. As for her origins, it turns out she's a nobody, which is both disappointing and reaffirms that she's the hope for the galaxy. If someone can become strong without a “special” upbringing, then there is always hope that there are other strong Chosen Ones.

8. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren

He may have doubts about his beliefs, but Kylo Ren simply fulfills the fate of any apprentice (at least on the Dark Side): destroying his master and taking his place. At first it seems that he is really changing and that the conflict in him has pushed the guy to the Light Side. But his plans are still dark - he wants to rule by destroying his enemies (this includes his former devotion, which he cannot use to his advantage).

By the end of the film, Ren rises to the position of Supreme Leader, commanding the army of the First Order and demanding the loyalty of General Hux, while attempting to destroy the Resistance, the Jedi and the Sith. Basically, he follows the policies of his former teacher Luke to figure out how the universe is balanced, but cannot get rid of the image, as Luke intended.

Whether his conflict will remain is a topic of debate for the next few years, but Snoke was able to read his mind and see determination where there once was conflict. So it can be assumed that he has overcome his emotional turmoil. Again, trying to get him to follow the path of Darth Vader and find his way to the Light Side at the end of Episode IX would be another embarrassing Star Wars moment.

7. The Rey/Ren bond endures

While they are not genetically related as some speculated before the film, Rey and Kylo Ren are linked to each other by a powerful psychological bridge created by Snook (which begs the question of why he didn't use his ability to manipulate Rey and take control of her).

It's interesting that even when Snoke dies towards the end of the film, the connection between them seems to remain. This is hinted at by their last thoughtful look. Of course, it has to show how both feel about each other (one as a savior, the other as a conqueror), but their interaction raises intriguing questions.

Will the casual connection between them continue without control now that Snoke is gone? Can they manage communications without his influence? Or is it just a residual connection that will fade over time?

6. Possible First Order conflict?

Unfortunately, General Hux turned into something of a clown in The Last Jedi almost from his first scene. He's a fool for more powerful villains (though Snoke recognizes his genius and flexibility) and gets dragged around everywhere. Of course, he survived, only at the end of the film he is no longer the same character we knew.

It is clear that there has always been conflict between Hux and Kylo Ren, which was limited to the rivalry between the brothers (or the rivalry of two favorites who are opposite to each other), and removing Snoke from the picture does not affect their relationship in any way. Especially when Ren demanded loyalty from Hux, partially dampening his life.

There's clearly something in the way Hux looked at Kylo Ren in their final scene that hints that the conflict has escalated. We can see how Hux becomes an enemy of Renu by being around him. And given that he's no match for Ren physically, it makes for an interesting dynamic in Episode IX.

5. Resistance destroyed...

By the end of the film, about 95% of the Resistance is destroyed: their forces are decimated, their arsenal is depleted, and their resources are zero. In addition to Falcon, they have several destroyed transports that ended up at the old base, which the First Order now knows about. Their people can be counted on several hands, and most of their leadership died.

Basically, they're going to need one hell of a recruiting spree in Episode IX or have to learn to conquer in order to survive and escape the clutches of the First Order. They will no doubt rise again, but for now without allies with the desire to reveal themselves and as a small group calling themselves an army.

Let Leia say that they have everything they need.

4. ...but there is still hope

The whole point of The Last Jedi is that no matter how many deaths the good guys face or how slim the odds are, as long as there is hope, there is a chance of victory.

At first, the legend of Luke Skywalker represents hope for the Resistance, but they need his intervention at the Battle of the Salt Flats to truly capitalize on that hope. Or more precisely, to use it as a weapon.

Following his heroism (and the rise of his replacement, Rey), those who join the Rebellion form ranks and join the cause. Hopefully they will be more useful than the determined children who have already been raised with the heroic message of Skywalker.

3. ...like other Force-sensitive characters

At the very end of the film, it was revealed that there are other Force-sensitive characters scattered throughout the universe. This means that there are potential students whom Rey will teach the ways of the Force. This is clear from the image of the boy demonstrating telekinetic powers.

Besides these boys, there are other Force-sensitives out there somewhere. During Luke's account of what happened the night he unwittingly created Kylo Ren, he mentions that Ben ran off with several students.

Supposedly they became the Knights of Ren, but there is no concrete confirmation of this. Either way, we've seen that there are other former students of Luke Skywalker, and they're set to appear in Episode IX.

2. Roman Finn/Rose

At one point, it became clear that Finn was going to sacrifice himself to save what was left of the Resistance (or at least buy them time after the First Order's attack), but Rose pulled him out of the clutches of death, seriously suffering herself.

Sitting on the rubble, Rose confesses her love to Finn and kisses him before passing out. Aside from the fact that the romance between them comes out of nowhere and seems completely incomprehensible, it looks like their trajectory is already set and we'll see their relationship blossom.

Considering how Star Wars treats loving couples, we can probably expect disaster for one of them in Episode IX. Very few romantic couples enjoy a happy ending in that galaxy far, far away.

1. Leia lives, Luke is no more

Even though we're told that Leia won't be killed off onscreen in The Last Jedi, something unexpected still comes up that keeps her in the Resistance after the climax. This loose ending was apparently planned for the beginning of Episode IX. And it's still shocking that the film doesn't address Carrie Fisher's death in a post-credits tribute.

Leia is also strong in the Force (that's the only way to explain her survival). Only, unfortunately, it feels like a narrative dead end in Leia's arc, which cannot be developed further.

But her brother joins a long list of characters who bite the dust in The Last Jedi, including Admiral Ackbar, Snoke. His death shouldn't have been a surprise since he had been in Obi-Wan Kenobi's story since The Force Awakens and needed to die to advance Rey's story.

Space, unknown worlds, the struggle between light and darkness. Swords! Laser! It’s no wonder that boys love a Star Wars themed party – it’s a wonderful birthday gift for a fan of the saga. Although the girls are not far behind, because the epic is not without romance, as well as beautiful outfits and the eternal “princess in distress”... In general, it will be fun!

At least superficially study the material. There is a lot of information on fansites, everything is very detailed. But it’s not worth going deeper, because this is not a party for adults (be careful here, mature Star Wars fans can lash out if they notice a gross blunder).

To understand the plot, it is better to watch the films in chronological order, starting with episode I, and not with IV (we ask forgiveness from true fans).

By the way, make sure that we are talking about a movie epic. After all, there are also cartoons and comics (there are many other characters), plus computer games. This is about the plot part. Since the holiday is for children, decoration in the Star Wars style can be hand-drawn, even if we are talking about a movie.

Decor

  • Decorate a black or dark blue background with silver stars. Fabric, paper, wallpaper, polyethylene. The more “starry sky”, the more luxurious the overall impression;
  • Place fake stones around the perimeter of the room(drawings, cardboard + printout). Bizarre shapes, speckled boulders, lava. An easy way to enhance the fantastic extraterrestrial atmosphere;

  • Decorate the ceiling/walls with horizontal and vertical decorations. If you try, this stage of design will bring the interior a good half closer to Star Wars! Theme style ideas:
    • garlands of stars/triangles with images of the main characters, anywhere. Silver and golden rain, serpentine spirals. Even just lumps of foil on the fishing line will add atmosphere;
    • spaceships, gliders on the ceiling on a transparent fishing line - the effect of flight, in front of the background on the walls - they are flying in space. Glue the picture onto thick cardboard;
    • hang the planets, of which there are a huge number in the Star Wars universe! Papier-mâché, painted paper lanterns, just round pieces hanging from the ceiling;
    • There should be a lot of Star Wars-themed balloons at a children's party. You can buy them in the shape of characters, ships, with inscriptions, or stick pictures to regular balloons. Silver, gold, black and star-shaped balloons will fit;
    • do a congratulatory stretch(yellow letters against the background of the starry sky). Print and cut out Star Wars lettering in original font. Use large ones to decorate walls, small ones - in garlands, on dishes, skewers.
  • Add realism by hanging posters of significant movie scenes/cartoons, photos of characters. If you have friends who work in FS, you can substitute the faces of the guys instead of the faces of the main characters - it will be fun! Just not everywhere, idols must also be “present”;

  • Star maps and ship diagrams look atmospheric. These decorations should be as realistic as possible, it is better to print them from fansites (it takes a long time and is difficult to draw, but the result will still be wrong);
  • Make large figures of the main characters and wonderful aliens. There are also a lot of options, from cute to terribly nasty creatures. If the party is for very young children, it is better to exclude the scariest aliens from the invitation list. Cardboard + print or draw;
  • Collect familiar Star Wars themed toys and just any blasters, spaceships, alien figures (except those recognizable from other cartoons/films);

  • Children will surely gasp with delight if the room is suddenly illuminated by cosmic radiance! Luminescent paint, starry sky projector, luminous stickers, bracelets, ribbons, balls, etc. If you close the thick curtains and turn off the lights while you take out the cake, it will turn out magical;
  • There are a lot of cartoons, caricatures and other thematic humor on the Internet. Pictures with funny captions and mini-plots will certainly amuse the schoolchildren;
  • For a photo zone in the style of Star Wars, prepare the “sky” and hang paraphernalia. You can make life-size figures for photos in an embrace or with holes for faces. If you have a couple of free days, it’s not difficult to assemble an almost real space fighter or even the Millennium Falcon from cardboard!

Invitations

Do you want to really surprise your party guests? Make a Star Wars themed invitation with receding text! Yes, yes, those same opening credits and the familiar musical theme. To create a mini-video, you only need to install a video recording program from the monitor screen.

You can choose any one, there are many of them. The instructions were written for iSpring Free Cam: free, in Russian, does not put logos on your video, the controls are clear even to those who bought a PC yesterday. Procedure:

  • Launch the recording program from your desktop. A frame will appear that you need to use your mouse to stretch across the entire screen;
  • go to the Star wars intro Creator website;
  • When you first log in, a video with an example may start; after watching, the screen will rewind down to the editor (just wait);
  • Enter the text in the boxes. Come up with an original invitation, in the Star Wars style (you can write it like Yoda, call the guys Jedi or Padawans, mention the plot component of the party);
  • click “Play” at the bottom of the text windows;
  • after a couple of seconds, click on the red dot in the lower left corner of the screen (recording from the monitor will begin);
  • at the end, when your inscription begins to disappear into the distance, press the “escape” button on your keyboard;
  • recording will stop and the recording program screen will automatically appear. At the top there is a choice of actions - upload to a social network, YouTube or computer.

More traditional invitation options - character shaped card, starship, Star Wars inscriptions. A flyer or poster also fits organically into the theme, because we are talking about cinema.

Suits

Don’t overdo it if you want to repeat the image of the hero - the guys should be comfortable, because there will probably be active games at the party. This costume for adult Star Wars fans closely replicates the original. For children with their lively imagination, a sheet with ties is quite a Jedi cloak.

By the way, the organizer can prepare raincoats so that all attire is the same. And let the children come in trousers + a shirt or long-sleeve T-shirt (brown, black, beige). Instead of a raincoat or under it, you can wear a kimono. The tops of the boots are fake - Velcro covers that cover the shoes.

Make masks of the main characters, robots, aliens - they will be useful for a photo shoot. On an elastic band, holder (stick) or cap.

An even simpler option is Anakin’s light leather armor. Throw two strips of thick brown fabric over the shoulders, secure with a couple of stitches or secure with textile Velcro at the front and back. At the waist there is a wide unloading belt made of dense fabric that imitates leather. Sew pockets, bags, capsules.

Girls can also come to their birthday party dressed as Jedi/Padawans. Or choose any elegant look in the Star Wars style - a Leia, Padme, Rey costume (sew, buy, rent - a popular topic, everything is available).

The most difficult thing is Jedi swords, if the budget does not allow you to buy glowing and buzzing toys for all the children (and they cost a lot, especially when you need more than one). You will have to spend time to make a weapon:

  • cardboard/foam tube (just a tube and without a point - a laser sword is not flat, it’s a beam), a long ball + an imitation of a handle;
  • flashlight in a translucent tube, flashlight handle with button = sword handle;
  • diode strip in a translucent tube. If it is problematic to buy tape, the LEDs can be attached to the wire (exposed in places for contact, wrapped with electrical tape). Tape with diodes attached to the battery, the entire structure into a tube, make a “plug” and a handle. It's easy, MK is online.

Menu, serving

If the script is exciting, For a birthday in the Star Wars style, you can limit yourself to a candy bar. Don't forget drinks for children - juices, lemonades, plain water in bottles with themed pictures.

Design ideas:

  • star background, long tablecloth in black, silver or blue, themed decor on the background and skirt of the tablecloth;
  • pictures on the dishes or buy stylized plates and glasses;
  • pictures for skewers. Stick into cupcakes, string fruit and any desserts that hold their shape;

  • use fondant to sculpt characters, decorate cupcakes, cookies, etc.;
  • Let some desserts be cosmically green, blue, silver (food coloring, icing);
  • cards with wonderful names of dishes (use the names of planets and peoples) and with funny inscriptions in the style of Yoda (you have to eat this, you have to experience an unexpected taste);

  • It’s easy to make molds for simple recognizable silhouettes from strips of aluminum (cut into a can): Yoda, Vader’s helmet, C-3PO, R2D2, BB-8, Death Star. These molds can be used to cut shortcrust pastry, biscuit, and mastic.
  • cut out the inscription Star Wars, characters, ships in a piece of paper, sprinkle the desserts through the resulting stencil with powder, grated chocolate, and confetti.

Order a cake in the shape of one of the robots or main characters, the Millennium Falcon or another starship. You can transfer any scene from a movie or poster (edible print) to the surface of the cake.

Entertainment

It’s very easy to come up with a script and competitions for a Star Wars themed party, because you have dozens of colorful characters and the whole Universe at your disposal! For example, gather children for the last test of strength, after which everyone will receive the title of real Jedi - personalized diplomas, badges or medals.

According to our scenario, the guys will rescue Han Solo, who was kidnapped by Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine or anyone. The quest fits well into the Star Wars party plot. The heroes will be helped by Ewoks - tiny funny people that look like bears.

For each task/competition, the guys receive a fragment of an encrypted message. The Ewok alphabet will have to be invented (in the photo there is an example from the cartoon). Write the usual alphabet, and draw a squiggle next to each letter. At the end, you need to put together a puzzle (a message cut into pieces) and translate it into our language.

Message text:"Your friend in the land of eternal winter."

Locked Han Solo in the refrigerator: a figurine or picture in jelly, to free the children they must eat the jelly (carbonite).

The presenter supplements the answers with several phrases. This is necessary so that the guys who have not watched the film understand what is happening.

IN: I see you know about the Jedi. But is everyone ready to fight on the side of light? Is the dark side beckoning you? Let's check!

Cards with names of feelings - 7 good and 7 bad. Children should divide them into two piles, the light side and the dark side.

IN: Well done! Let's refresh ourselves and congratulate our fighting friend “name”. Pause, congratulations. Someone approaches the presenter and pretends to whisper in his ear.

IN: young padawans, the incredible has happened! We can't keep having fun because Vader has kidnapped Han Solo! I was told that an Ewok witnessed the abduction. He sent us a message, but the note was intercepted by Utto.

Strange, but he refused to sell it! I don’t know what kind of fly bit him, if Utto is bitten by flies at all, but he will give the note away just like that. However, only the worthy! He gave me a list of tests, and let me tell you, they are very, very difficult! But for the sake of Khan, you won’t be afraid and will overcome them all so that Utto returns the note?

Children: let's not be afraid!

IN: I had no doubt, well done! May the force be with you!

Following are the list of Star Wars themed competitions:, conveyed by Utto. Don’t forget to give the children a fragment of the message after each game. One of the parents can play Utto, but this is not necessary - the party script will survive his absence.

We offer ideas for competitions, choose at your discretion. It is enough to explain the goal in a nutshell, without complex summaries. And why this needs to be done is clear from the introduction - the list was compiled by the capricious Utto.

You can write the names of the competitions on pieces of paper, roll them up and put them in a stormtrooper or Vader helmet. The birthday boy or all the children will take turns taking out a random piece of paper, determining the order of tests.

Bunta Yves Classic

Legendary podracing, Tatooine. Options:

  • radio controlled cars;
  • jump to the finish line on gymnastic balls with “ears” on the holder;
  • twist the ribbon onto a stick (there is a hearth figure at the end of the ribbon);
  • ride on horseback (like a wooden horse - stick and stick a picture on the front).

Difficult transition

A sheet with holes of different sizes, held by two parents. The older the child, the higher the distance from the floor. Children must step into holes to follow a safe path. Options:

  • the red cloth will be lava. Holes are stones that you can step on;
  • grey/silver spaceship floor. Parents throw projectile balls, playing the role of stormtroopers. Children must run to another compartment along the corridor, under “fire.” Only the floor is full of holes (it’s war!);
  • yellow fabric – sands. If you shake the fabric, you will get a sandstorm in the Dune Sea (Tatooine). You can sew on “wreaths” of teeth and tentacles - you will step and end up in the pit of Karkun!

Destroying the Death Star

You can have all three as stages of one test, because that’s how many times it was blown up (taking into account Episode VII):

  • piñata with candies;
  • a shield in the shape of the Death Star with a hole into which you need to throw a mine-ball;
  • blow on gray ping-pong balls (start-finish, smooth surface, short distance). Finish = minefield, abyss - edge of the table, anomalous zone (anything that means a complete seam for the equipment that ends up there).

Dancers

Children must come up with and show how one or another character from the saga dances (robots, stormtroopers, aliens - choose something funny, not just people). All together, the host says “Dance like BB-8, now like Chewbacca, and now like, etc.).

Jedi Show of Power

Duel with laser swords. A low bench (don't fall), a tape on the floor (don't step off it), or a gymnastics hoop (don't go overboard).

Jabba boom

Green balloons in the role of Jabba and his “clones” (one is somehow not enough). Glue/draw eyes, paws, a tail and throw darts at the creepy thing.

What did Master Yoda say?

Or another character, it doesn't matter. Print out a comic with blank windows (one or two scenes, no more). You need to come up with a funny phrase and enter it into the dialogue boxes. Let parents help the little ones.

Riddles with multiple answers

Any plot, characters of the epic. You can add humorous ones:

  • Han Solo's best friend is a red dog, a big bite or a Wookiee Chewbacca?;
  • grass-colored, unprepossessing in appearance, despite his size he is an example to all Jedi (Yoda)
  • The teacher sat down on the sofa next to Luke... (Obi-Wan).

Yes Chewbacca!

This is a raffle competition for one of the parents (just choose the one who is not offended). He shows children Chewbacca, Yoda or another recognizable character from Star Wars (pantomime). And the children allegedly do not understand who it is, coming up with the most inappropriate answers.

The poor parent uses his imagination, tries this way and that, but nothing. Children like it - there will be a lot of laughter (you just need to warn the kids in advance and clearly what the point is).

Defeat the Stormtroopers

Bowling pins, one painted black - Darth Vader. Cut out pictures of helmets and glue them. The imperial detachment is ready for defeat!

After successfully completing the tests, deciphering the message and saving Solo (eating the jelly), one of the parents comes out dressed as Khan or simply make a life-size silhouette, bring him into the room and announce that a friend has been saved.

All Padawans become Jedi for bravery and bravery - present diplomas/medals. And you can relax in free form, eat cake and just have fun!

In a galaxy far, far away... The Empire is at the peak of its power: the construction of the Death Star has just been completed and this terrifying weapon should go into operation in the very near future. But the Rebels are not asleep either, carrying out countless acts of sabotage on the outskirts of the Empire, and then, if rumors are to be believed, the legendary Jedi knights have returned. If you also want to take part in the epoch-making conflict between the dark and light sides of the Force, it's time to pick up a deck from the Star Wars card game.

Balance of power. In the card version of the Star Wars game, players will become direct participants in the intergalactic conflict between the light and dark sides of the Force. And although the game is designed for only two participants, and there are also only two Forces, you will have the opportunity to choose from four factions at once: the light ones are represented by the Rebel Alliance and the Jedi Knights, and the dark ones are represented by the Imperial Navy and the Sith. In subsequent expansions to the game, it will be possible to play as Smugglers and spies, as well as get into the camp of scoundrels and villains.

Doctrines and Directives. In a galactic conflict, each of the warring parties pursues its own goal. The “Dark Ones” are trying to charge the Death Star, and the “Light Ones” are trying to bring chaos to the directives and orders of the Imperial Command. Directives in the Star Wars card game are key - they will determine the set of cards that will be included in your deck.

Galactic scale. Production of resources, implementation of improvements, coordination of attacks (and organization of defense), operational actions directly during battle, as well as confrontation with the Force - participants in the Star Wars card game will have to go through all this every round. However, don't be fooled by the complex turn structure - battles in Star Wars are always dynamic and unpredictable.

Sword duels and laser skirmishes, as well as the participation of spaceships, the use of the Force and random factors - all of this is present in the card version of the Star Wars board game and most directly affects the outcome of the battle. But before the parties begin to exchange blows, they will have to determine which side has the advantage - to do this they will have to surpass their opponent in a duel that will take place almost blindly. Only after this the parties will begin active hostilities, and the generals will have to take into account the abilities of their units, because in the game there are only three types of damage.

Your own way. The card version of Star Wars (in Russian) is a strategic game with the potential to build your own deck, wide scope for tactical maneuvers, as well as a large number of details that allow players to feel like inhabitants of the Star Wars universe. Despite the voluminous rules, just reading the booklet will be enough to begin your first battles. And as you master it, the severity and dynamism of the galactic conflict will only intensify.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi ends with an unidentified child, but the boy's identity suggests a connection to the beginning of the franchise itself. It is unclear who the boy with the broom is. This sequence reinforces the film's final argument that anyone can change the fate of the galaxy, not just those born to "great" parents.

Fans can't help but wonder: who is this boy who can easily wield the Force and look at the stars like Luke, Anakin and Rey did? Is this ending to the film a sign of the next great hero in Star Wars history, or is this boy one of countless others who will never appear again?

These questions will be answered in due course. But for now, fans want to know the boy's true name, and how he is related to other Star Wars characters.

The boy with the broom controls the Force

For those who may have missed the boy's first appearance in the final scene of The Last Jedi, or simply couldn't make the connection, here's what we can say about it. When Finn and Rose travel to Canto Bay, they discover a harsh reality there. The rich enjoy life at the expense of ordinary people. This is illustrated by the space horse race: the rich bet big. Abandoned children take care of animals. We know that children are abandoned by their parents to cover debts. Rey had the same fate as an abandoned child.

The final scene of the film shows that no matter how long the Star Wars galaxy exists, there will always be a struggle for the freedom of the oppressed and downtrodden. The ancient ring of Rebellion that Rose used to persuade the children is now on the finger of one of these boys. The children are already telling each other about their heroism in the fight against the First Order before their cruel master dismisses them. Using the Force to take the broom into his hands, the boy absentmindedly sweeps the area before looking up at the stars, and the broom in his dreams turns into a sword, hinting at his future role in the galaxy.

By the way, before we forget. There are not many resources on the Internet now that provide meaningful analytics on films and TV series. Among them is a telegram channel @SciFiNews, the authors of which write the most suitable analytical materials - analyzes and theories of fans, interpretations of post-credit scenes, as well as the secrets of bomb franchises, like films MARVEL And " Game of Thrones" Subscribe so you don't have to search later - @SciFiNews. However, back to our topic...

The most obvious message to the viewer is that even if the Jedi die, their heroic legend lives on. Like Rey, the next great savior of the galaxy could be a forgotten, completely unknown child. But the Force is with him. And the identity of this boy may not be as mysterious as it seems...

The boy with the broom is Temiki Blagg

The Star Wars Visual Dictionary, which talks about these children abandoned on Cantonica, also names an unknown boy who is Force-sensitive. He is "Temiri Blagg" and no other details are given. And while his name shouldn't have any significance according to the laws of the franchise, it becomes official in Star Wars canon.

MORE ON THE TOPIC:

To find it, you'll need to check out the recently released Star Wars: A Certain Point of View, a collection of short stories that tell key moments in the franchise from the perspective of other characters. In particular, a story by Glen Weldon called "MSE-6 and the People", which became much more interesting thanks to the ending of the film "The Last Jedi". The story is told from the perspective of MSE-6-G735Y, a mouse droid, about his time on the first Death Star before its destruction.

The story of the Empire begins with MSE-6 replacing the IT-O investigation unit with Cell Block AA-23. Upon arrival, the droid overhears the following conversation between an officer working in the detention unit and an unnamed high-ranking officer (who is almost certainly ):

“Shall we go to her cell and begin the interrogation, sir?” I just need to insert the syringe into the torture droid.

"Investigator droid, Blagg."

“Yes, of course, sir. Sorry, sir. An investigator droid. And then we can continue."

“Oh no, Blagg, I won't do the interrogation, and neither will you. This is Vader's job. It's a pleasure for him."

For fans who haven't put all this information together yet, this is the usual delivery for MSE-6. Because Cell Block AA-23 will soon prove to be an important place. See if this place looks familiar.

Yes, it's a story about a mouse droid carrying a hypodermic needle. The interrogator droid needs her to torture Princess Leia (we saw all this in the original Star Wars). The mouse droid was transporting a needle from a stormtrooper designated TK-421 to Lieutenant Bragg, presumably the supervisor of the detention unit where Princess Leia was being held. This is the same officer who found himself in a firefight with Luke, Han and Chewbacca. It can be assumed that he and the rest of the guards were wounded or killed. So why would an orphan boy with his last name still have the Power thirty years later?
