Looks like mexico. The most beautiful Mexican women (30 photos). Embassy of the Russian Federation in the United Mexican States

In order to understand how more or less wealthy (but not rich) Mexicans live in this distant overseas country, it is not enough to look through the standard photo reports from there that appear on the Internet. After all, mostly people take pictures of architectural monuments of the colonial period, various Indian pyramids, or landscapes of nature. In the same report, we will talk about the life of Mexicans, how their life looks from the inside.

Describing this topic is quite simple, since for a long time the author of these lines has been living with other fellow travelers in a Mexican high-rise building, in a prosperous (above average) residential area of the capital of this country - the city of Mexico City.

So, let's start the tour of our house. Below in the photo is one of the rooms designed for tea drinking and conversations that take place here every evening:

As you can see in the photo, we drink Coca-Cola, it is probably more popular in Mexico than in the USA - in the homeland of this drink. There are a lot of McDonald's and other American fast food chains here, Mexicans love them very much. In the orange bottle there are hellish seasonings, they are poured over food by the locals, after which it is difficult to eat, the whole mouth is on fire. There is mayonnaise in a white bottle, fortunately it is sold here, so you can cook Olivier salad at home, only a few days ago they prepared a large tub. On the right is a drum, sometimes our fellow travelers who live with us delight our ears with it.

A little higher on the right is a Wi-Fi router, in many houses in Mexico, including ours, there is wireless Internet, in this sense, this country is modern. And here is a photo of another room in our Mexican apartment (we have 4 in total). Each of the rooms has its own small balcony, which is very convenient - you can always quickly ventilate the room, or just go out to breathe fresh air. So the house, without a doubt, was built competently.

The windows are double-glazed. There are no batteries, of course - now in January it is +25, so there is no need for them. The windows overlook the courtyard.

Someone bought green bananas, now they are drying in the sun. Bananas, by the way, cost 6 UAH per kg (24 rubles).
And this is how (in the photo below) the courtyard of our house looks like - as you can see, this is completely unlike our high-rise buildings. The sky is covered with plastic - thanks to this, rains do not fall into the yard and our balconies, and birds do not pollute them from above. On small balconies, residents place flowers, so that the sense of beauty is not alien to Mexicans.

Above each balcony hang charming antique-style lanterns:

The furniture in our apartment is built into niches in the walls, so it does not take up any space at all:

It is not in vain that the famous revolutionary Trotsky, an ally of Lenin, was hung on the closet door, he lived in exile right here in Mexico City, and now a memorial museum has been opened in the city in memory of him.

The sink in the house is placed in a separate room from the toilet and shower, and the second sink is in the kitchen.

And this is the corridor in the apartment, the renovation, as we see, is modern here, and the style is fashionable with us:

Below is the kitchen:

Water heating - from the column, so that a hot shower can be taken around the clock. The stove also runs on gas. In many other houses there is no centralized gasification, so the water is heated in large tanks on the roof, it is heated by the burning tropical sun.

Now we leave the apartment and go down to the stairwell. The doors to the apartments, as we see, are located very close to each other. To the right on the wall is a lamp that is switched on by a photocell: as soon as you leave the apartment, it turns on, and the rest of the time it is extinguished. So in Mexico save electricity.

On the floor in front of the doors, residents place rugs and sculptures with the inscription "Welcome!".

I move to another floor of our house. Here you can see flowers on the stairs:

The entrance is completely clean, no one smokes, no one drinks, no one throws garbage. Residents from time to time put things in order on the stairs.

A big plus of our house is the roof. It’s not like ours here, it’s closed with locks and polluted with pigeons, but this is a resting place for residents. From the top there is a beautiful view of our Nezahualcoyotl area:

In the photo above, you can just see the black hot water tanks that I have already mentioned. There are chairs and even benches on the roof, so in the evening you can go to the roof with a cup of tea and admire the stars, and during the day - huge Mexico City:

Another big plus of the roof is that you can wash things there, for this there are special sinks with ribbed surfaces:

Near the house - restaurants and supermarkets, their advertising is visible in the photo. And on the horizon - beautiful mountains, their height is almost 3000 m above sea level:

On the roof, as well as on the stairs and balconies, flowers. They are everywhere in our area.

The roof of the house is large and comfortable, you can walk along it, like along the street:

Each apartment has a clothes dryer on the roof. Very comfortably.

There is a school near our house. In the morning, before entering it, they sell freshly squeezed (right before your eyes) orange juice (0.35 l - 5.50 UAH or 25 rubles). Very tasty and good for kids too.

A 7-minute walk from the house - metro station. From our roof, the train is perfectly visible - here it is going below, such a redhead:

A ride in the metro costs 2 UAH (8 rubles), that is, the price is the same as in Kyiv, exactly the same. The trains here run silently, you can safely talk with the windows open, not like ours. This is caused by rubberized wheels. The carriages are equipped with air conditioning to keep you cool. Below in the photo is a fountain, it is on the first floor of our house, by the stairs. It would seem - a trifle, but nice.

Residents - car owners do not leave cars on the street, but use a special parking lot on the ground floor of the house. Here he is:

And here is another view of the courtyard of our house, this time from the ground floor:

The shower room with toilet has a window, unlike most Soviet houses. Thanks to this, there is always fresh air in the bathroom, and fungus does not appear on the walls from moisture.

The walls in the rooms are decorated with maps and flags:

Here it is - a huge Mexico.

Mexico's neighborhood with such a successful country as the United States does not pass without a trace. More and more Mexicans are rushing to work in the States. Most often, men emigrate, and this is understandable: a man must provide for his family, be its breadwinner. And if there are no opportunities for decent earnings at home, then why not try your luck abroad?

Only their wives do not turn into poetic persons, waiting for their loved ones at the family hearth with embroidery in their hands. Mexican women get it all: they have to meet the female standard for cooking, washing and cleaning, and raise children on behalf of both parents, and do all the hard male work around the house. And if the husband’s career does not go at all as successfully as planned, or the father decides to forget about his Mexican family, then the woman has, among other things, to provide for her children on her own. At the same time, in modern Mexico, finding a job for a woman is not so easy, so you often have to take on any possible options.

(Total 20 photos)

1. Some women, like Felicitas, after their husbands stop sending them money, are forced to raise goats and prepare firewood for sale in order to earn a livelihood for themselves and their households. And we can say that Felicitas copes with everything quite successfully, since she can already afford to pay for the work of an assistant. Pictured: Felicitas Contreras Santiago and her worker Anna tending goats in San Pablo.

2. It is surprising that Felicitas also manages to actively participate in the activities of the Mujeres Unidas (United Women) group, whose main activity is to provide shelter and assistance to those who flee violence in their families.

3. After hard working days, women who find themselves in a difficult situation due to their husbands who emigrated and forgot about them can get together, relax near the TV, chat on the phone with children who also left for the USA in search of a better life. Mutual assistance, care and support helps those who are faced with the same difficulties to survive. In the photo: Felicitas Contreras Santiago and Cristina Isidrio Salazar relax after a busy day.

4. Only a photograph of a couple in love in a beautiful frame hanging on the wall can remind you of your former happy family life. In the photo: Felicitas family portrait.

5. Due to the fact that most of the able-bodied men leave to work in the USA, the famous traditional rodeo competitions are admired mainly only by children, women and the elderly (all men of working age are invited to take part in this competition). Due to the mass emigration of the male population of Mexico, mothers may not see their husbands and children for decades. But the country's authorities are not trying to curb emigration, thanks to which the unemployment rate is reduced, and the Mexican economy receives solid cash injections in the form of bank transfers to relatives and friends. Pictured: Emilia Juana Pérez (far left) watches her youngest son perform at the rodeo with her family. Five of Juana's children live in the United States.

6. It goes without saying that the repair of household appliances, houses and even cars falls on the fragile shoulders of Mexican women. Pictured: Cristina Salazar (left) and Felicitas Santiago repairing a car to deliver boards to the construction site. Their husbands, who went to the States, have not sent money to their families for a long time.

7. Girls themselves take the initiative and flirt with men. Competition among young ladies in the struggle for a future husband is very high. In the photo: 30-year-old Federico, who recently returned home after being deported from the United States, where he lived and worked from the age of 15.

8. Teenagers, having heard a lot of fairy tales about those who still managed to get rich in the States, secretly from their mothers themselves dream of getting there. The opportunity to see older brothers and father, drop out of school and, as a grown man, start earning money attracts children's hearts. In the photo: 13-year-old Celso Ortega-Cruz argues with his mother, who does not approve of his decision to illegally cross the US border and go to his brothers.

9. There are times when boys, having agreed with their comrades, run away from home with minimal luggage from food for a day or two, change of clothes, documents, meager savings and some unverified information about relatives who managed to settle in the USA. Teenagers head to the border to try to illegally cross it and get to fairyland. In the photo: Celso stands at the airport in Oaxaca, holding a passport and a one-way ticket to Tijuana.

10. Rafaela Cruz weeps as she sees the plane taking off on which her son, Celso, went to Tijuana. In border Tijuana, a 13-year-old boy will try with other migrants.

11. Companies providing telecommunications services seem to be quite happy with the current situation. Due to the fact that many international calls are made between relatives located in the US and in Mexico, they are getting rich before our eyes. The owner of one of the largest telecommunications networks in South America, Carlos Slim Hela, was recognized by Forbes magazine as "The Richest Man of 2010". In the photo: Women are waiting for phone calls from relatives who have left to work in the United States.

12. Due to the predominance of the female population, Mexicans are becoming less impressionable and romantic persons. The harsh truth of life has led to the fact that most girls plan in advance the best options for earning. Family ties and household are no longer attractive. Young women want to get higher education and start their own business. In this picture, taken from the door of a gift shop, a girl is seen walking to the antenatal clinic, down the street of the town of San Pablo.

13. Solemn meetings, marches and meetings have gained popularity, at which the women's circle discusses and exchanges experience about running their own business, and the meeting itself turns into a special holiday for women entrepreneurs. The festive atmosphere gives new strength to wait for their men from the USA.

14. Meeting a father returning after several years of absence is a very exciting thing. In the photo: Marisol Lopez Cruz in search of her father at the airport in Oaxaca. Marisol's father had been working in the States since 1979 and only returned home a few times a year. Now he is returning to Mexico forever, but for the girl he is not at all the same as before. Marisol considers him a stranger.

15. Long-awaited meeting: At the airport, the son meets Pablo Lopez, who worked in the States for a long time.

16. But it is not always easy to find a common language with grown-up children. Especially when you have not seen them and have not participated in their upbringing for several years. In the photo: Pablo Lopez kisses his daughter Marisol. He worked so long in the US that he was not at home during the birth of his three children.

17. Only if you sincerely show your children how much you love them, tell them how you tried for their future, you can melt the ice of the tension that has arisen. And now, the daughters have already stuck around their father and are happy to talk about themselves and ask him about life in the States. They have so much to tell each other... In the photo: Pablo in his hometown, sitting with his daughters Marisol (left) and Marlene.

18. It is especially difficult when a father, leaving to work, simply does not see how his little child is born and grows, and a woman with a baby is forced to work hard so that her children are warm and full. In the photo: 27-year-old Florentina Gaspar, a resident of the small Mexican town of Santa Ynez de Monte, descends from the mountains, where she chopped firewood. The youngest child, five-month-old Esmeralda, has to be taken with her, while the other four children are waiting for her at home.

19. It is difficult to understand children who leave their elderly mother and go to seek their fortune abroad. The old woman is sadly looking at family photos. Now there is no one to take care of her. She is left to herself. In the photo: Celestina Lura, who lives with her granddaughter, since her children left for the USA.

20. It seems that, as in Mexico, the United States is not very worried about this situation and is trying to get the maximum benefit from the illegal labor force. This attitude on both sides can lead to the fact that it will be quite difficult to see a man in a crowd of Mexicans. Pictured: Women at the weekly bazaar in Tlacolula.

Marina Cherkasova is the only child in the family, so from early childhood she got used to being in the spotlight and considered herself unique. Parents satisfied any whims of the girl and went on about her desires. She happily posed for photographs and thought about a modeling career.

After receiving secondary education, the girl took up dancing, which brought the body into tone and gave elasticity. Work on yourself and the constant improvement of technology allowed Marina to get a job in a well-known metropolitan club. Now the perfect-figure beauty danced go-go under the stage name Mexico.

Marina was not enough constant male attention in the club, and she went to look for a life partner on the project “Dom-2. Island of love".

The first appearance on the island turned out to be scandalous: Marina declared the dishonesty of Alexander Zadoinov, who left his wife and daughter, and then decided to build a relationship with him.

Mexico does not consider it necessary to seek the sympathy of young people and prefers to accept courtship. This position helped Marina get into the final of the TV show and fight for a million.

Marina Mexico after plastic surgery (photo)

The stunning appearance of Marina Mexico caused a sensation among the stronger sex.

The girl does not hide that such spectacular data is the result of the excellent work of plastic surgeons and cosmetologists, the ability to apply makeup and regular workouts in the gym.

In the photo of Marina Mexico before plastic surgery, taken several years ago, it is noticeable that her parents awarded Marina with a large nose, small breasts and narrow lips.

The go-go dancer wanted popularity, and a new appearance after plastic surgery made it possible to become a real star. The prospect of gaining fame attracted, and Marina ventured into the first procedure.

The blurry silhouette of the upper lip and the disturbed proportions of the face indicate that Mexico succumbed to the fashion trend and pumped up her lips with fillers.

However, Marina does not deny her love for "beauty injections" and even shoots a video from the doctor's office. To emphasize the cheekbones and get rid of the nasolabial fold, Marina put mesothreads and spoke in detail about the procedure on camera.

But the matter was not limited to cosmetic interventions. Marina did not like her large nose, and rhinoplasty helped to find the coveted thin back and more accurate tip of the nose. After plastic surgery, Marina Cherkasova is proud of her new facial features and is boldly photographed for a social network.

Of course, the stellar image of the fatal beauty would be incomplete without outstanding forms.

And Marina Cherkasova, who had a modest breast size before the operations, allegedly underwent augmentation mammoplasty.

Lush breasts against the backdrop of a narrow waist and round hips collect likes and enthusiastic comments on Instagram. Marina is not afraid of condemnation and believes that she is free to do whatever she wants with her appearance.

To attract the attention of men, Marina continues to experiment with her appearance: she covers her body with tattoos, trains press cubes, increases eyelashes and does not leave the house without makeup.

These tricks work: young people are crazy about Marina Cherkasova after plastic surgery and are fighting for her heart not only on the reality show “Dom-2. Island of love".

Marina does not stop there and strives to maintain her popularity, even if this requires another plastic surgery.

Let's learn about the stereotypes about the people of Mexico and see what is true and what is not.

It is these landscapes that appear before the eyes of those who, if they were in Mexico, then did not go further than the beach. In fact, the nature of Mexico is very diverse. In the north - huge mountains and canyons, overgrown with pines and other trees of the "cold" belts, a little further south - really deserts with giant cacti larger than two-story houses, to the west - sandy beaches, but in the very south you will find dense jungles, waterfalls and places untouched by man. So there are enough forests, lakes, rivers and even volcanoes in Mexico.

Perhaps somewhere in the outback, such as in Oaxaca or the deserts of San Luis Potosi, you will meet a Mexican in a poncho and sombrero. But most people in Mexico today dress modern. In the capital and major cities, Mexicans are no different from Europeans. In addition, the inhabitants of the country are very clean. Even if the family is in a tight financial situation, their clothes are always neat. It is customary to wear a tie to business meetings.

Although the country, in fact, has only two seasons - dry and rainy, but, as mentioned earlier, this is a country with diverse landscapes. It can be very cold in mountainous areas (it reaches zero), snow lies on the peaks all year round. In Mexico City, during the cold season during the day, the temperature may not exceed +7 ° C, which, of course, is not -20 ° C in Russia, but still quite cool.

Compared to other Latin American countries, Mexico is far from poor. Yes, there is an interclass and many residents do not live well. But they try to study (there are serious universities in the country, for example, UNAM, which is valued throughout Latin America) and travel. The country has huge natural resources (reserves of oil, silver ores and other minerals), incredible nature and cultural diversity (there are many different languages, cultures, costumes, customs, songs and dances on its territory). As for danger, it can be found everywhere: in Paris, Moscow, Mexico City. In fact, the rules are the same: do not walk in unknown areas at night, hold your wallets and do not enter into conflicts with the locals.

In pre-colonial times, the Aztec and Maya civilizations built unusually advanced and architecturally complex cities. In Chichen Itza, on the Yucatan Peninsula, their space observatory has been preserved, with the help of which the ancient Mayans mapped the sky and even then knew that the earth revolves around the sun, and not vice versa. The ancient Aztec city of Tenochtitlan was built on an island in the middle of Lake Texcoco, a sewage system was developed in the city (while in Paris everything drained from the windows to the street), and floating fields were created from algae - chinampas, on which agricultural products were grown. Moreover, all the temples were built linearly, according to cosmic cycles, and even modern European architecture has not reached such knowledge.

After the conquest of Mexico by the Spaniards, the local population was not destroyed, but there was a mixture of blood, as elsewhere on earth. Therefore, the modern inhabitants of Mexico bear the features of both European ancestors and ancient American ones. For example, in the Yucatan, people can easily guess the same contour of faces and sculptures that can be seen on the pyramids of Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Etsna, Tulum: a slightly flattened skull, a large nose and close-set eyes.

This is true. Mexico City is one of the ten largest cities in the world, second only to New York. According to today's data, more than 20 million people live there. Interestingly, it is built on the ruins of Tenochtitlan. You can see these ruins in the very center of Mexico City, they were discovered not so long ago, during the construction of the city subway. Unfortunately, smog often hangs over the city due to overcrowding.

Here and there, and in Mexico, women have their own special position. Leading positions in politics and business are occupied by men, but women, especially mothers, are a model for reverence. Mother's Day is widely celebrated. The family gathers at a wide table, some special gift is presented to the hero of the occasion. In many families, it is the woman who occupies the dominant position, although, of course, she never shows this.

Yes, real tequila is made only in Mexico and only from the agave plant. However, among the locals, this is far from the most popular drink. Most Mexicans love beer! Invite a Mexican for a bottle of the local Corona and you won't regret it. What about tequila? It is considered a very strong alcohol and is drunk on special occasions. By the way, the fact that tequila needs to be eaten with a “worm” is also an invention. The Mexicans themselves say that a long time ago, quite by accident, an agave worm got into one of the bottles of tequila. And it was said jokingly that the last person to drink from the bottle should eat it. So "eating a worm" is not a cultural tradition. In Mexico, there are drinks much older than tequila - for example, low-alcohol pulque, which can only be tasted in the state of Mexico, or mezcal, in the bottle of which you will find, if not a worm, then a scorpion (it tastes crunchy and soaked through with mezcal).

If we talk about the average Mexican, then this is a man of small stature and a chubby physique, which is quite far from the image of a sexy macho. The myth has Spanish roots rather than Mexican ones. Yes, and women in Mexico correspond to their men - small and plump. And most importantly, Mexicans value their families very much and usually have five to ten children. Termination of pregnancy is not accepted here.

One of the most important wealth of the country is the music of its regions. A motley bouquet of different genres, constantly enriched, is carefully preserved and promoted abroad. The most famous style is the mariachi ensemble, which you may have seen in films, when a guy arranges a concert with a small musical group and sings romantic songs at the window of the girl he likes. But in addition to the mariachi and the famous song "Cucaracha", there are a lot of different genres and performers here - from the Indians of the Huichol tribe, who have been fluent in the cello for more than a century, to the famous Juanes with their song La camisa negra and modern guitar virtuosos Rodrigo and Gabriella (it is their melody sounds in the cartoon "Shrek" in the episode of the fight Puss in Boots). Or at least Luis Miguel, winner of the title "The Sun of Mexico", as well as nine Grammy awards.

Indeed, among street food it will be difficult to find something other than tacos or burritos (in the plural - tacos and burritos). But in fact, Mexican cuisine is one of the most popular in the world and, along with French, Italian, Japanese and Chinese, is in constant demand among gourmets. Despite the rather modest list of main ingredients, the dishes are extremely diverse. There are also vegetarian ones - for example, pozole blanco (white pozole), a thick, slightly spicy cream soup made from white corn. One of the most traditional dishes of Mexico and Latin America is ceviche, something like a salad of fresh fish (necessarily white): hake, sea bass. May include other seafood, as well as cilantro sprigs, red onion, red pepper, lemon, pepper, and salt. Another hit is fajitas. This dish consists of strips of grilled meat and vegetables - usually onions, peppers, carrots and sweet corn.

The only thing that can get infected in Mexico easily and for life is love for this country. But seriously, then, of course, it is worth considering the climatic conditions of the country. It is hot here and sanitary standards are not always observed, so it is recommended to eat street food with caution and be sure to seize with hot chili sauce, which, with its pungency, will destroy pathogenic bacteria if they still get into your stomach. “Here they even eat mangoes with chili peppers” - you may have heard, and this is true! Chili is a native plant and you will find over 40 varieties of hot peppers in the Mexican market. Tip: Wash vegetables and carry wet antibacterial wipes with you.

Revolutionary ideas are still strong here. They are inspired both by their own heroes, such as Pancho Villa, and by the Soviet past: Lenin, the USSR. Among Mexicans, one can still meet people bearing the names of Lenin, Stalin, Iskra. It is also full of revolutionary movements, ranging from the famous Zapatistas in the state of Chiapas, to popular movements such as Antorcha Campesina (Peasant Torch). The latter, by the way, is quite popular - in every big city there are schools or living quarters of this movement, and in the state of Puebla there is even a separate village where there is no police and no state control, since everyone knows each other and lives in accordance with the ideology of socialism.

Mexicans. How they look can be found in Sheboldasik's article “Women and men of Mexico - what are they? (photo selection) ", but about what kind of people they are, what I like about them and what I can not stand, I will tell.

What I like about Mexicans:

1. Say hello . When entering a store or just walking down the street, Mexicans always say hello. Of course, if you are walking around the city center or sitting somewhere on a bench, then no one bothers you with their greetings, but if, for example, you are standing at a bus stop and waiting for a bus or you see someone walking on a not crowded street, then say hello and say goodbye — is a common thing.

2. Smile . Mexicans seem to be very friendly people and their faces are not malicious. They smile not like Americans - widely and for any reason, but sincerely, friendly, predisposing. Mostly women, of course. The men are somehow drier and more serious here, well, that's why they are men.

3. Friendly to gringos . I always thought that Mexicans dislike Americans and other white tourists, despise and experience other negative emotions. But all this turned out to be another one of the myths, and people in Mexico are very pleasant and treat foreigners exactly the same as their relatives.

4. Do not waste time . If the seller does not have change when buying or the buyer does not have enough money, they may offer to pay later or even “forgive”.

5. Raised. They always give up their seat on the bus. Of course, not for healthy men, but for mothers with children and the elderly. It's very cool and enjoyable. I can get on a crowded bus and they will definitely give me a seat, because I have Sierra on my hands.

6. Polite . Always "thank you - please - see you - to your health", and everyone is so friendly and sincere. I remember in California we went to the Chick Fillet fast food, so there all the employees were cloyingly polite and always answered the same type of “My pleasure!” Thank you! So they were trained. And everything is natural with the Mexicans, so it's very pleasant to communicate.

7. Don't fool around . Don't try to raise prices because you're a gringo. Living in the states, I was sure that in Mexico they would definitely cheat and deceive me at every turn. Fortunately, I was wrong! And although, in the markets, for example, prices are not indicated, but having lived for some time in one place, you already know what it costs, and different sellers have the same prices. So you don’t have to worry about inflated prices (it’s another matter how your goods will be weighed).

8. Traded . It's not a sin to bargain a bit with the Mexicans. Not that they love this business, as in the East, for example, but they never mind dropping a few pesos. Even taxi drivers drop the price.

9. Do not make noise . Surprisingly quiet and calm people! I have never heard Mexicans swear loudly, make noise, turn on loud music. In general, this fact was a complete surprise for me - I always thought that the Mexicans were very noisy, but then it turned out that they were not at all. Or maybe I just have not yet met such merry fellows who hang out until dawn?

10. Cooking . I don’t know what to tell you - Mexicans love to eat well and they know how to cook. In almost any cafe, the food will be delicious. I don't know how they do it, maybe there is some secret ingredient?! Only here I was disappointed in tacos - upon arrival we only ate them, because they are sold everywhere and are inexpensive, but then we already discovered other, more refined dishes (my favorites are milanesa, fajitas, chicken soup, cake) and stopped eat tacos, now they seem to me quite primitive food for the poor.

What I don't like about Mexicans:

1. Litter . This is what I really, really dislike, even infuriates me! They litter everything, all the time and everywhere! Yesterday, for example, a father-mother-child family was walking down the street and then mom threw a bag of chips right on the road! And they go on! And children from childhood see all this and then do it themselves - candy wrappers, ice cream sticks - all this flies to the ground.

Sometimes they don't throw their garbage directly on the road, but on an empty lot where there is no house yet, or somewhere in the bushes where, like, you can't see. As a result, trash is everywhere! In some places there are permanent janitors and cleaners who are constantly sweeping cigarette butts and wrappers, but most often, it is somewhere in the city center, where people, in principle, will not litter much anyway and sometimes bother to carry their garbage to the bin. But outside the center - it's tough!

Our playground, for example - I rarely see children there, but adults and teenagers seem to like to hang out under the hill, because there are always bags with the remnants of chili sauce, candy wrappers, plastic cups lying around. It infuriates me so much that I can’t relax - constantly watch so that my child doesn’t pick up and put this muck in his mouth.

2. Late . Mexicans are a terribly unpunctual people! They are late all the time, sometimes for 40 minutes or even an hour, and at the same time they do not feel guilty, they do not even apologize. In general, this is normal for them. Here at Clarke's school periodically all sorts of meetings in the morning, so we are told to come at 7.50. Well, we came once at 7.50, so what? There is not anyone. After about 20 minutes, the rest of the (Mexican) families began to catch up. Now, when they say to be at 7.50, we know that we must come at 8.20. :)

3. Irresponsible . Even if agreed in advance, they may simply not appear and not warn, or call at the last minute or right at the time when they should already be there. This happened to me all the time with my nanny - either she is constantly late, then she suddenly falls ill, or something else.

4. Hang up . Of course, I can’t say this with all confidence, but recently I had such a feeling. In the market I buy avocados and pay 30 pesos for 3 pieces, and in the supermarket I get 5 for the same money! How so? The suspicion crept in that in the markets and in small shops inaccurate scales are weighed down. After all, in the supermarket everything is weighed at the checkout, so I trust them more.

5. Trade. They love to shop here. They sell, basically, all sorts of rubbish - cheap clothes, cheap shoes, cheap toys. I don’t particularly like the latter - not so much a toy as the fact itself - here they roll their cart, hung with balloons, balls, inflatable horses on wheels and start blowing bubbles. And all this is somewhere on the square in the city center or right next to the playground in the park. Children, of course, look at all this and they need it all at once - and cheap balls, and horses, and everything! In general, this is a great temptation for children, and "kind" parents cannot refuse their children.

And I really don't like (I don't even know why I care so much) that everyone is trading the same thing! Why? What for? I can not understand! For example, in San Miguel there is one small market in the square near the Cathedral of St. Francis. And there they built rows of tents with merchants. I went there a couple of times - everyone sells the same type of souvenirs. And here on the nose is the Day of the Dead - all without exception on the trays of sweets in the form of skulls, skeletons and other attributes of this holiday! 20 or more people, as a team, are selling exactly the same product! And now none of them have those souvenirs that everyone had a week ago.

6. They try to help . Well, yes, in theory it should be like it, but no - I noticed such a thing - Mexicans never say "I don't know", even when they really don't know, they will still make things up hard. As a result, how many times we went in the wrong direction, ended up in the wrong place, the bus left at the wrong time, and all because smart Mexicans “know everything”!

7. Eat . Mexicans are constantly chewing something, and almost always it is some kind of unhealthy food - chips, salty sticks, candy, sweet water, acid-colored ice cream. This, of course, affects the figures - almost all Mexicans are fat. So they always strive to feed my children with sweets - they treat them out of the kindness of their hearts, without even asking their parents.

For a long time I thought what else should I add to the list of what I don’t like so that the items are the same, but somehow nothing comes to mind. Or maybe it's better? Let there be more positive moments than negative ones, right?
