Dua when waking up from sleep. Muslim prayer for good sleep. Prayer recited during the sacrifice

We are in this world for a very short time compared to Ahirat. Therefore, every hour, every minute, every period of our life should be spent in worship of Allah Almighty. It does not have to be prayer, fasting, and the like.

After all, some worship can be performed without detriment to the worldly concerns of a person. Also, by choosing a suitable place or time for worship, a person receives more rewards. One of the most favorable periods for performing an act of worship are the morning hours.

Almighty Allah made the morning hours graceful for us and indicated that at this time we should praise Him, say various prayers and duas. If we follow this instruction, our whole day will become blessed, and we can get barakat from the Almighty on this day.

From Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) it is transmitted that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

« Completely, completely, completely the same reward as for Hajj and Umra will be received by the one who performs the morning prayer in the jamaat, then sits until sunrise, remembering Allah Almighty, and then prays two rak'ahs ». ( Tirmizi)

According to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there are certain prayers and duas that it is advisable to read in the morning hours. To protect yourself and your loved ones from troubles, to make the coming day blessed, read the following dua in the morning:

one. " »;

Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:

Going to bed at night, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allahhumma, bi-smi-ka amutu wa ahya » – « O Allah, with Your name I die and with it I live».

When he woke up, he said: Al-hamdu li-llahi llazi ahya-na ba‘da ma amata-na wa ilay-khi-n-nushur » – « Praise be to Allah, Who revived us after having killed us, and Who will resurrect us and call us to Himself for an account)». ( Bukhari)

2. " Al-hamdu li-llahi llazi radda ‘alayya ruhi, wa ‘afa-ni fi jasadi wa azina li bi-zikri-hi »;

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

« When one of you wakes up, let him say: "Al-hamdu li-Llahi llazi radda 'alayya ruhi, wa 'afa-ni fi jasadi wa azina li bi-zikri-hi (Praise be to Allah, Who returned me ruh, healed the body mine and allowed me to remember Him)" ». ( Ibn As-Sunni)

3. " La ilaha illa Allahu wahda-hu la sharika la-hu, la-hu-l-mulku, wa la-hu-l-hamdu, wa huva ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir »;

From ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) it is transmitted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

« Allah Almighty will surely forgive the sins of any slave who will say: “La ilaha illa Allahu wahda-hu la sharika la-hu, la-hu-l-mulku, wa la-hu-l-hamdu, wa huva ‘ala kulli shay’ in qadir (There is no god but Allah alone, Who has no partner; He owns the power, praise be to Him, and He is omnipotent)”, every time after waking up from sleep, even if his sins are like sea foam (as numerous as foam flakes)». ( Ibn As-Sunni)

4. " Subhana Allahi wa bi-hamdi-hi »;

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

« On the Day of Judgment, no one will bring with him anything better than the one who repeats a hundred times in the morning and in the evening: “Subhana Allahi wa bi-hamdi-hi (Glory to Allah and praise be to Him)”, except for the person who said something similar or added ». ( Muslim)

5. " »;

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the morning the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say:

« Allahhumma, bi-ka asbahna, wa bi-ka amsaina, wa bi-ka nahya, wa bi-ka namutu wa ilyai-ka-n-nushur » – « O Allah, thanks to You we lived until the morning, and thanks to You we lived until the evening, thanks to You we live, and You take away our life, and to You we will return». ( Abu Dawood)

6. " Bi-smi-Llahi llazi la yazurru ma'a ismi-hi shay'un fi-l-arzi wa la fi-s-sama'i, wa huva-s-Sami'u-l-'Alim »

It is reported from the words of ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

« Nothing will harm that servant of Allah who every morning and every evening will say three times: “B-smi-Llahi lazi la yazurru ma'a ismi-khi shay'un fi-l-arzi wa la fi-s-sama' and, wa huva-s-Sami'u-l-'Alim (In the Name of Allah, in whose name nothing will harm either on earth or in heaven, because He is Hearing, Knowing”». ( Tirmizi, Abu Dawood)

7. " Hasbiya-Llahu; la ilaha illa huva; ‘alay-khi tavakkaltu, wa Huva Rabbu-l-‘arshi-l-‘azim »;

From Abu-d-Dard, may Allah be pleased with him) it is transmitted that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"The one who every morning and every evening will say the words seven times:" Hasbiya-Llahu; la ilaha illa huva; ‘alai-khi tavakkaltu, wa Huva Rabbu-l-‘arshi-l-‘azim (Allah is enough for me; there is no god but Him; I trust in Him, and He is the Lord of the great ‘Arsh) ”, Allah Almighty will save you from the worries of this world and the world to come. ». ( Ibn As-Sunni)

As we can see, one has only to make a little effort and try a little, and Allah Almighty will take away problems from us and write down a huge reward for us. It is also worth noting that in order for our dua to be accepted, certain conditions must be met.

Nurmuhammad Izudinov

Assalamu alaikum, sister.

Read the following question and answer:

07.03.13. Assalamualikum! Dear Imam, I have been married for two years, I did it in the mosque and in the registry office, we have health Inshallah, we were in the best clinic in Almaty, they said everything is compatible and good, we both read namaz, but unfortunately Allah has not yet given us children. Parents are also expecting grandchildren. Now I would like to consult with you what duas can be read in order to ask Allah. Thank you for your understanding, Sincerely, Zhandos.

Wa alaikum assalam, Zhandos.

We should remember that everything in this world, including pregnancy and infertility, happens by the will of Allah. The Holy Quran says: “Allah has dominion over the heavens and the earth. He does what he wants. He bestows on whom He wills with female offspring, and He bestows on whom He wills with male offspring. Or He combines male and female offspring, and whom He wills, He makes barren. Verily, He is the Knower, the Almighty." (Council, 50

But if the spouses do not have children due to illness, then they should look for ways to cure. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Indeed, Allah the Great sent down illness and treatment, and made medicine (healing) for every disease, so be treated, but do not be treated with the forbidden”

Praise be to Allah, today medicine has stepped forward significantly in the treatment of diseases that were not cured before. Even infertility treatment is carried out with great success. Therefore, to solve your problem, you should contact qualified doctors who will select the appropriate treatment method.

Along with this, it is important to turn to the Almighty and ask Him to grant a child. The Qur'an describes the story of the Prophet Zakaria, peace be upon him. His wife could not get pregnant for a long time, and then the Prophet Zakaria, peace be upon him, turned to Allah with the words:

Rabbi la tazarni fardan va anta khair ul-vaarisiyin;

(Oh, Lord, do not leave me childless, because You are the Best of the heirs...) (Prophets, 89).

Allah accepted his prayer and gave him a son. Allah said: “We answered his prayer, granted him Yahya (John) and made his wife capable of it. Verily, they hastened to do good, called upon Us with hope and fear, and were humble before Us.” (Prophets, 90).

However, it is not necessary to read this dua. Spouses wishing to have children can address prayers to Allah in any wording. Allah said: Call on Me and I will answer you. (Believer, 60). The main thing is to show sincerity in prayers.

Particular attention should be paid to the provisions and situations in which the dua is accepted. This is a dua during prostration, between azan and kamatam, during rain, in the last third of the night, etc. In addition to dua, it is important to turn to Allah with repentance and ask for forgiveness. The Qur'an says: “Ask your Lord for forgiveness, for He is the All-Forgiving. He will send you abundant rains from the sky, support you with property and children, plant gardens for you, and make rivers for you.” (Nuh, 10-12).

After that, run your palms all over the body, starting with the head, face and front of the body. All this must be done three times.

Every night before going to bed, the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, blew on his palms and then read the last three suras of the Holy Quran - Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falak and An-Nas. After that, he rubbed the whole body with his palms three times, starting with the head and face. As stipulated in one of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, a person who said and did all of the above will be protected from evil until morning (Sahih al-Bukhari).

There is no refuge and no salvation from You, except turning to You, I believed in Your Scripture, which You sent down, and in Your prophet, whom You sent.(It is reported that the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said to the person whom he taught these words: “And now, if you die in the state inherent in you from birth,” that is: in Islam.)

Muslim prayer for good sleep

What dua should be read before going to bed?

The Almighty created sleep as a blessing to man, during which he can rest and gather strength. Sleep is an amanat entrusted to us by Allah, which, like everything bestowed by Allah, we must protect it and protect it from the evil of Shaitan. What should be done when preparing to go to bed, what duas should be read before going to bed? You need to connect your hands in front of you with your palms inward, blow on them and read the following suras:

  1. Ayat al-Kursi. Reading Ayat ul-Kursi will be protected from the harm of jinn from morning to evening, and from evening to morning. It is advisable to read this verse 3 times before going to bed for blessings and peace of mind.

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I cannot understand those Muslims who do not read Ayat ul-Kursi before going to bed. If you knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect reading it, because it was given to your Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) from the treasuries of al-Arsh. Ayat ul-Kursi was not given to any of the prophets before Muhammad (peace be upon them all). And I never spend a night without reciting Ayat ul-Kursi three times (before going to bed).”

"Allah (Lord). There is no god but Him, the eternally Living, Existing. Neither sleep nor slumber will overtake him. He owns everything in heaven and everything on earth. Who will intercede before Him, except by His will?! He knows what was and what will be. No one is able to comprehend even particles from His knowledge, except by His will. The heavens and the earth are embraced by His throne, and He does not bother to care for them [about everything that is in our universe and beyond]. He is the Most High [in every sense above everything and everything], the Great [His greatness has no limits]!”.

“Say: “He, Allah, is One. Allah is Eternal [only He is the One whom all will need to infinity]. Did not give birth and was not born. And no one can equal Him” (Quran, 112).

“Say: “I seek from the Lord the dawn of salvation from the evil that comes from what He has created, and from the evil of the darkness that has descended. From the evil of those who conjure and the evil of the envious, when envy ripens in him ”(Quran, 113).

“Say: “I seek salvation from the Lord of people, the Ruler of people, the God of people. [I seek salvation from Him] from the evil of whispering Satan, who retreats [at the mention of the Lord]. [Satan] who brings confusion into the hearts of the people. From [the evil representatives of Satan from among] jinn and people ”(Quran, 114).

In the hadith of the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) it is said that a person who reads the three suras mentioned above will blow into his palms and wipe his entire body with them, starting from his face and head 3 times, he will be saved from everything bad until the morning.

And they (the believers) said: “We have heard [Divine admonitions given through the Prophet] and we have submitted. I ask You to forgive our sins, O Lord, for the return is to You.” Allah does not impose on the soul that which is greater than its strength (capabilities). What she has done [good] is in her favor, and what she has done [bad] is against her. Oh my God! Do not punish for forgotten or committed by mistake. Do not lay a burden (weight) on us, just as You laid it on those who were before us. Don't make it our responsibility to do what we can't do. Forgive us [our sins and mistakes], forgive us [what is between us and other people, do not reveal our shortcomings and mistakes to them] and have mercy on us. You

Allah… There is no god but Him, the Eternally Living, Existing. Neither sleep nor slumber will overtake him. He owns everything in heaven and on earth. Who will intercede before Him, except by His will? He knows what was and what will be. No one is able to comprehend His knowledge, except by His will. Heaven and earth are embraced by His throne, and His care for them does not bother. He is the Almighty, the Great!

Say: “O Lord, who has power! You give power to whomever you wish, and you take away from whomever you wish. You exalt whomever you wish, and humiliate whomever you wish. In Your right hand is good. You are able to do everything!”

He is the Lord, there is no god but Him. He is the Omniscient. His mercy is boundless and eternal. He is the Lord, there is no god but Him. He is the Sovereign. He is Holy. Gives peace, commands faith, guards safety. He is the Mighty, the Almighty, above all imperfections. The Almighty is far from the associates attached to Him. He is the Creator, the Creator, Giving everything a certain form. He has perfect qualities. That which is in heaven and that which is on earth praises Him. He is Mighty, Wise.

Alif. Lam. Mime. Allah… There is no god but Him, the Eternally Living, Existing. Your Lord is one God, there is no god but Him, the Merciful. His mercy is boundless and eternal. There is no god but Him, the One, the Eternal. Did not give birth and was not born. Nobody can be equal to Him.

I ask You, O Allah! O All-Merciful, Whose mercy is boundless and eternal! O Ever-Living, O Existing, O Possessor of greatness and reverence!

I ask You, testifying that there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal, who has not given birth and not begotten, Whom no one can be equal to.

I ask You, the One to Whom all praises belong. There is no god but You, the All-Merciful, the Creator of heaven and Earth, the Possessor of greatness and reverence, the Ever-Living, Existing. Oh Lord!

I ask You to Whom all praises belong. You are One, and You have no partner, the All-Merciful, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Possessor of greatness and reverence. All-merciful, Creator of heaven and earth, Possessor of greatness and reverence, I ask You for Paradise and move away from Hell with Your help.

O Allah! Make sure that the result of any of my deeds is only good. Remove us from the shame and dishonor of mortal life. Protect us from the torments of the grave."
