In 1966, a veterinary and medical center (VVP) was opened in Zelenograd, a satellite city of Moscow, on Ozernaya Street. Veterinary-Medical Point. In 1969 it was renamed into the Zelenograd regional veterinary hospital. From 1969 to 1972, with the money allocated by the City Veterinary Department, a special building of the Rayvet hospital was built in the eastern communal zone at the address No. 4807, next to GSK-2, Mosvodokanal and Zelenogradsky Spetsleskhoz.

In 1973, the Zelenograd Raivet clinic was renamed the district veterinary station (Rayvetstation).

Since 1991, the structure of the State Veterinary Service of Moscow has been changing due to the change in the administrative division of Moscow districts into districts and rayon stations are transformed into SBBZh - animal disease control stations of the administrative districts of Moscow. Since October 1991, the Zelenograd Raivetstation has been reorganized into an animal disease control station in the Zelenograd administrative district of Moscow.

In 2002, a separate laboratory diagnostic room was organized, equipped with modern high-precision equipment.

Since 2005, animal microchipping has been used at the SBBZh.

In medical work, more and more advanced diagnostic methods are increasingly used, such as a blood test on a biochemical analyzer, ultrasound diagnostics, ECG recording, X-rays are taken on a modern device.

There is a veterinary pharmacy.

SBBZh specialists serve dog and cat shows, public events held with the involvement of animals. The SBBZh team was repeatedly awarded certificates of honor for the veterinary support of exhibitions of small animals in the city of Zelenograd.

Currently, the Zelenograd SBBZh is a well-equipped structural subdivision of the State Institution “Mosvetobedinenie”, staffed with highly qualified personnel and modern equipment, which makes it possible to provide a wide range of services to the population.

All specialists working at the station have higher veterinary education and are specialists of a wide profile.

In Moscow, the veterinary service is performed by 280 private clinics and 25 state clinics, which are under the control of the State Budgetary Institution "Moscow Association of Veterinary Medicine" and the State Budgetary Institution "Moscow Station for the Control of Animal Diseases".
