Numerous specialists worked on the document, during the work, proposals from representatives of such participating countries as China, the USA, Britain, and the USSR were mainly taken into account. The approval of the Charter took place in the summer of 1945, at the end of the war. A little later, Poland joined the United Nations, becoming the 51st member of the community.
